So I got this floor mat for my home office and it is terrific. I had an older one I got from Walmart and this is so much nicer. It feels really nice sitting on it with the chair, it’s strong, and it’s see through so it fits with the room nicely.
Only concern was other reviews that it didn’t flatten out but luckily I had a lot of weights and it flattened no problem (not 100% but pretty much perfect). I think if you really search you can get a cheaper one but it won’t be by much and this product was great… All in all very happy with this.

Wow, wasn’t expecting to rave this much about a chair mat – as soon as I unrolled it, I was in love – the feel of the quality had me stroking it like it was some precious relic. I was worried it was going to have curled edges from the packaging but this mat is so well made that it quickly took its natural flat form. Wow, I am so obsessed with this floor mat that I now even want to do yoga on it. Thinking of buying another one now to place under my bird cage.

I bought this as my office chair was creating scratches on our hard floor as the wheels weren’t turning properly. This is a great size and a reasonable price. It is transparent enough to see the floor underneath. You do have to flatten it out but I just put some paper stacks on each corner and it sooner flattened itself out. Floor is well protected now!

I didn’t realise just how bad this item was until I got a replacement item from IKEA. Despite carefully following the instructions on how to roll it out and keep it rolled out, the mat would roll up at any opportunity. It’s flimsy plastic so my desk chair didn’t move across it easily but got stuck all the time. Honestly it was SO stressful. The IKEA one is firm and the chair moves across it easily. I would NOT recommend this product.

don’t understand why some people had problems with laying flat, all I did was place under an area rug and put some weights on top and was excellent the next day. Excellent product and good value for the money.

I didn’t particularly like this product when I first started using it, and over the course of a few weeks, things have not improved. I bought this to go under my chair in my office, which has a wood floor.
Initially, I unrolled it and laid it flat over night, then used it with moderate results, as my primary goal was to protect the floor. It slid around, never fully flattened, but it did protect the floor, I thought.
Fast forward a few weeks, the mat is filthy on both sides, as the constant sliding collects and redistributes dust and grit. It never did flatten, and as a result slid around more and more, all the while causing a greater risk to the floor, which is precisely what I was trying to avoid.
I cleaned it with warm water and SoftSoap, but as it dried there was a chemical smell from it that I hadn’t caught before. hat alone is not a huge deal, but overall this product is not recommended on any level.

This is not an anti-static mat. It generates static discharges when rolling a chair over it. The static discharges are so bad that they cause my mouse to de-register and re-register, meaning the cursor freezes for a few seconds. So while this might be ok in the average home office, this isn’t suitable for use in media studios / electronics labs etc.

I wanted this to cover my wood table and it’s pretty good overall. I’m finding the ends don’t go down completely and that’s a bit annoying but I like it much more and it’s a much cleaner appearance and very thick compared to the thin plastic table covers I’ve purchased before. Overall I’m happy with it but wish the ends lay flat thus only 4 stars

J’ai commandé deux (2) tapis. Ils ont été livrés rapidement. J’ai suivi les instructions des autres consommateurs et je n’ai pas eu de problème pour l’installation. J’ai laissé reposé les tapis plusieurs heures pour qu’ils prennent la température ambiante, puis, j’ai déroulé les tapis et posé de gros livres dessus une nuit. Les tapis sont bien à plat et je suis satisfaite.

This mat will send you absolutely cuckoo! It arrives rolled up, cool no problem. We laid it out under our rug for a day to flatten it out. Then we put it under the desk and it was weighted down in the corners by boxes that are stored under my desk. No amount of weight stops this mat from getting waves or rising. Several times a day I have to get up, move my chair off of it and straighten it back out. It’s never completely flat no matter how hard I try and it’s doing my head in. When it first arrived I was very optimistic and convinced it would sort itself out given time. I wish I’d just returned it straight away, now it’s most likely going in the bin the first chance I get to go to IKEA to buy their one which we have for my partners desk and never rises. ONLY BUY IF YOU NEED AN ADDITIONAL REASON TO BE STRESSED AT A COMPUTER!

The product came fast. I read the past reviews so I let it come to room temp. Before even attempting to unroll it. Placed it in the room it was being used in and it was pretty flat within a few hours. I put heavy books on the side that didn’t flatten and by the next day it was great. I was going to order a second one but needed one with a lip and they didn’t have the 36 x 48 with a lip.

Comes rolled up and takes a fair bit of effort, including using weights and blow dryers to get it to lie anything resembling flat, however, it’s on our oak floor and it slides about and rides up, pain in the butt, will be getting replaced, it’s clear so you can’t exactly put some anti slip tape underneath it without it looking tatty. Not pleased with it to be honest.
