I bought this blender and was so excited to use it today. Trying to make my best friend a birthday cake. this blender makes a weird sound..sounds like something is loose inside and it had difficulty mixing 2 cups of flour properly. It was struggling a lot while it was mixing. I think i got a bad/broken one since there are so many good reviews, and i can’t even return it because i was stupid enough to crave my name on it before trying it for the first time!!! so frustrating!!!!!

I love the fact that the slow speeds are slow so you can start by mixing. I don’t really like the wisks because they don’t seem to do the job adequately. I use this for mashing potatoes and it always leaves clumps. I have a Kitchen aid stand mixer and an emersion blender that are excellent and reflect the quality I expect from this brand. I am disapointed

Last night I tried it out for the first time for Tasty’s ultimate chocolate chip cookie recipe. I was used to my old roommate’s hand mixer, which was very loud and powerful. This one is not as powerful nor as loud, and that actually worked perfectly. If you see other brands on Amazon, they are rated higher (200W+), this one is weaker than that. BUT, you do not need 250W of power to make cookies, turns out. The power was perfectly enough on the highest setting. Also it was late at night, so the low noise worked for me. I do think that if the dough is pretty tough, maybe the highest setting will be a little weak, but I doubt it. This is not a blender.

Auto-eject button is great. The design is cute. I even like the design of the whisks. No complaints yet. I haven’t eaten the cookies yet so we will see about those.

La batidora es realmente lo que yo esperaba, trabaja muy bien y lo que más me gusta es que Kitchen Aid resuelve cualquier problema técnico al momento. Son bastante profesionales, tal como sus productos

I’ve purchased a few things from Amazon Warehouse. I will never purchase another kitchen appliance from them again. The mixer was covered in food splatter from the previous individual whom purchased the product from Amazon. I thought they thoroughly inspected and cleaned products before shipping them out to customers through warehouse deals. Jokes on me I guess. At least I got a partial refund though, that’s nice. I enjoy having my money taken from me for returning a product that they didn’t bother to inspect.

Esta super linda pero solo para cosas ligeras como claras de huevo ya que no tiene mucha potencia como para masas etc

It is a nice little handheald mixer. I have got the black one because it was $20 cheaper than the iconic red one. Why pay extra for the colour , right? I used it to bake a cake. Everything works fine. It is very easy to assemble and powerful enough for cake batter and frosting. I was skeptical to get it because of the not so positive reviews but I am happy with it.

I got this KitchenAid 5 speed mixer in White and I’m really liking it for the price on sale for $49.99 right now. It does the job for any light baking tasks that I need (beating egg whites, making cookies, etc.) wayyyy better than the crappy Dash one I purchased prior to this for almost the same price.

I haven’t tried it for any tougher doughs like pizza or bagels, but I’m going to wait for my stand mixer to make those.. I don’t think you should use a hand mixer for those.

The only thing I knocked off one star for is that one of the whisks takes more time to put on, I’m not sure why but it happens every time. I end up playing around twisting it in different ways for like 15 seconds before it actually locks in place.

I paid more for this model because the listing stated that it included: Pasta Roller, Spaghetti Cutter, Fettuccine cutter, Capellini cutter, Lasagnette cutter and Cleaning Brush and non of these items were in the box. If I had known, I would have saved the extra $16.00 and bought any other color. Pretty disappointing to have paid more money for no reason.

I recently bought the KitchenAid 9-Speed mixer and had issues with it vibrating due to unbalanced beaters. The problem appeared to come from the chassis that holds the beaters into the machine. I exchanged it for another brand new 9-speed KitchenAid mixer – exact same problem. Vibration. I returned the mixer but then saw this 5-speed mixer on sale. I wondered if I would have the same issue and did not! The 5-speed mixer works wonderfully. Last night was a real test when the gingerbread cookie dough that has been known to break mixers, gave this 5-speed mixer no trouble at all. There is no vibration, the low speed is adequate enough for not making a mess of flour all over your cupboard. The high speed is good enough to foam eggs, make meringue, or whip cream. Last night I made cookies, a cake, and squares for the Christmas party at work. All successful! I also love the boysenberry colour of this mixer. It looks so attractive. I bought one of the KitchenAid stand mixers 10 years ago. I do not use it often because most of the time a hand mixer gets the job done with less fuss. I totally would recommend this mixer to my friends.
