After a year of regular use (2-3 times daily) of my mini Keurig, I needed to descale. It was long overdue. Found a video online that showed this stuff and how to descale and wow it worked.
Large bottle, will work for 2 descaling cycles. Price was fair, safely sealed and hard for kids to get into.
Search for the video online (Keurig branded video that is presented by them) and follow the video’s instructions. I used half the bottle and it descaled my mini in less than an hour.
Highly recommend.

got machine 2nd hand from family who upgraded. worked for a bit but then no water was coming out at all. used this product but needed much longer sitting time in machine – guess there was lots of build up, with our very “hard” water. seems to be working fine ever since and will keep up a more regular maintenance schedule. only thing i was concerned about was being unsure if descaler in system was completely flushed out or not, since there’s no odour/flavour/colour to it. probably did more rinses than needed, but felt safer doing so. (please note, i have not tried any other descaler, so i have no comparison to give)

our keurig said to descale so i thought i would give this product a try. It did not descale. I tried for several days to get it to work and it would not . i then purchased a gallon of white vinegar. with the first batch thru it worked just fine. So there is no need to purchase this product because white vinegar works the best.

Going to give this 3 stars as I can’t really comment on what it does. I’ve had my Keurig for 4 months now and it started saying time to descale so I bought this. We use a Kohler $200 filter on the sink, so I don’t think scaling is even an issue for us as our kettle never has white spots or anything. One thing to note is that you use the WHOLE bottle in one shot to clean. I assumed this was good for multiple uses but it’s a one time deal.

I purchased the Keurig descaling solution after feeling guilty for skipping the descale reminder for the second time. I love my Keurig and want it running smoothly so I purchased this solution. I agree with others, it’s very pricey, but it does a better job than vinegar. I tried white vinegar like others have suggested and it takes longer and more cycles to complete your clean. Ultimately, the goal is to empty your water resivour, fill with white vinegar or the Keurig solution and water, run a few cycles, let it sit, run 12+ cups of water through.
I’ll let you make the call, is it better to use vinegar and save a few dollars, or use the branded solution? I personally feel the Keurig solution works quicker, does a better job, and doesn’t give off the putrid vinegar smell. My solution is to simply run the Keurig solution every other time I get notified. After all, the cost I’m saving on coffee more than pays for the $12 solution.
I rate this a 4/5 due to the cost (which is the only downfall…let’s be honest, if this solution costed the same as white vingear you’d use it too without question).

I had to go online to find some. I did so after dumping the entire bottle, figuring it would then require flushing… Boy did it ever … 🙂 Citric taste for about 10 full reservoirs. But now my coffee tastes clean and the pump mechnism works far mor smoothly

Disappointed with this product. I thought it would work better than vinegar, but not in my opinion. Stick with vinegar. I think vinegar is easily as affective or even more so. Certainly, less expensive.

I have rinsed this from the Keurig with over 20 full pots!!!!! It still tastes bitter. I threw away 5 cups of curdled coffee because that’s what happens if even a trace is left over. I cant get rid of the taste. I may even need to buy a new Kuerig, but since I’m so upset with this product I may switch to Nespresso.

First off, I am NOT in the habit of tasting cleaning solutions, so I have no idea about the flavour of it!
It did the job as everything is running smoothly again.
It neither enhanced nor detracted from the taste of my beverages.
It is very, very costly though.
I am going to try vinegar next time as it is much more cost effective.
$13.00 for a cleaning is way over the top.

Rather than the DIY vinegar method, I decided to give the authentic product a try. It’s very easy to use, sure, but didn’t notice any difference in the operation of the machine. I suppose if you have hard water you might have a good outcome. Not saying it isn’t worth a try but it wasn’t worth the hype.

I started getting less that a cup of coffee, then the Descaling signal came on I ordered 2 of these so I would have a spare. I ran the first 1 through and all was well again. But 12-15 cups later and I am getting 1/3 of a cup of coffee again I feel it won’t be long before the Descaling indicator will be on again.
I use filtered water in my Keurig all the time so I am not sure how or why I would even need to descale in the first place.

Each time I use this product, it takes days and days to get the solution out of my Keurig machine. Countless cups of coffee with creamer curdle in my cup despite rinsing with 20+ extra large cups of rinse water as the instructions say to do….I will never use this product again. I have tried 3 times to do this right to no avail. So much wasted coffee and creamer. Gross and what a waste of money too!

I live in a city with very hard water. Calcium builds up on everything over time, including my Keurig. Once every few months, my Keurig gives me the error of death which is “Prime Pump.” For my machine, this means time to descale. I bought this cleaner, and despite following directions to the letter, it did not do anything.
After cleaning, my Keurig still wouldn’t work/pump water into reservoir. Next I tried white vinegar, which was cheaper, and it got my Keurig up and running again. However, took lots of rinses before my coffee stopped tasting like a tossed salad.
Ultimately, for those of us with very hard water, I found my best best bet to be filtered or bottled water. Since switching to a cheap supermarket brand of bottled water, haven’t had the issue at all, and it is cheaper than this stuff. Skip this.
