Everything seems ok and straight forward. Wish the biggest bags weren’t so big!!! I would’ve preferred to have more of the medium size instead of the way too big size.

Bags are durable than I thought. They are easy to clean as it is made of silicone. I bought this for portioning baby food and this saves time to do it!

I made choux a la creme with these pastry bag and the plastic melt.
Plastic was cheap
Real garbage for warm product.
Maybe this product will go well for icing your cake but for my need it was not the best product

Firstly, Piping tips have a seem on the insides of them which means they come apart under pressure. Not the best quality for “pro’s” but if you’re a beginner it definitely works for those people.
Secondly, these plastic piping bags they come with are super thin and breaks if your royal icing/ icing is not soft enough. The tip slides right out of the bag with pressure. Not ideal. Stick with the cloth material or the disposable plastic bags are much more sturdier.
Bottom line is: You get what you pay for. Cheap (Low cost) = Cheap (Materials)

I bought these this summer and have used them a few times now. It took me until my second go around to correctly put the tip/band on correctly, but they worked well even when I had it on wrong. Clean up is easier because (after rinsing), I just put the bag through the dishwasher.

So the mistake I made was thinking that getting a really good set of piping bags with tips would make me a really good cake decorator. Wrong. I now realize that despite the obvious upgrade I made by purchasing this set, I did not equally upgrade my skills.
The set is great. I love the couplers that allow you to change the tip without having to empty the bag. And the fact that the bags are washable/reusable is a gigantic win in my book as to not put more plastic in our landfills. The couplers screw on through the silicon bag in order to secure the tip, although I am not sure if I did that correctly. As others have mentioned, there aren’t any instructions included, but it doesn’t seem that complicated.
The three sized bags seem to be sufficient for any home project. I don’t think I’ll ever need to use the largest size, but it’s nice to have it just in case. Everything cleans up easily by hand or in the dishwasher, but like I mentioned, skill-improvement is not guaranteed.

I’ve only used this for one cake but so far so good. I like the sizes of bags offered. Came with couplers for every bag. I didn’t really need more tips but if you’re starting out there are good tips! I was really looking forward to the bag fasteners…..but didn’t fall in love with them. They were hard to fasten….which I think was more my issue icing/damp hands didn’t offer much grip. I found they slipped off the bag…but again I think that might’ve been because of some icing. Overall I would recommend.

I recently became more involved with baking and wanted to stop throwing away so many icing bags so I made this purchase. It’s perfect for royal icing sugar cookies & decorating cakes. It made both of those baking experiences way better. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I have never used piping bags, so truly have no comparison, good, bad or otherwise. The bags appear sturdy, the tips are durable…have no idea what the little purple rings are for, but I did what I needed to do without them. Can’t really answer on durability as I have only used this once. I think it must be assumed the user knows what to do, but some simple instructions for newbies might be helpful.

Not easy to clean… but I am satisfied as it serves for its purpose. I made a tumeric face mask that stained it.. it won’t come off but that’s fine.

These were super easy to use, easy to clean, and hold a lot of frosting. Would definitely buy again. My only complaint is that the bands supplied for closing the top are confusing – I don’t understand how to use them, and one of them broke the first time I attempted to use it.
