Smart and discreet. A bit fiddly to apply but they have stayed stuck on since I fitted them a couple of months ago. (Time will tell how long the adhesive will last. Hopefully they won’t leave a mark?!) I should of gone for the bigger pack in hindsight as this is the 2nd batch I’ve bought. They’ve really come in handy as they fit on most tech products. Computer, laptop, iPad, iPhone. Although they are slightly on the small side and you can see a little of the edges on the camera I still would recommend as it’s only shows a little and they do seem to fit a lot of products and overall I have had no issues so far, thanks!

I was looking for buying this kind of covering and accidentally I found this! This product was just what I was looking for when I needed something to cover my camera. Product’s description and box information on point – the actual product does what the box says / describes. The product, covers the camera when you want it to and slides to one side when you want to use the camera again giving you all the privacy you like.
Considering its width small size you need to place it correctly because if your camera is bigger then it may cover it. Its thin size is practical and helpful as it doesn’t effect the laptop’s shutting. Worth mentioning is that the cover fits incredibly good on a Macbook pro which I was quite concerned before buying it. Also, once the cover is placed in position it doesn’t move around.

*It is a good idea buying it as a small gift for a friend, colleague or family member (especially with the web meetings during the whole Covid-19 situation)!

This is not bad for the price but the adhesive property is not the best.
When I bought this and applied the first one, it fell after 3 days. I did not touch it or play with it or anything, but it simply fell. So it is not durable for a long time.
Also the black object that sits over the camera which you use to slide left and right is very loose and clumsy to use. When applying this black cover to your camera, make sure not to move the black circular object too much because it might fall out.
They are also smaller than what they seem in the picture so this is small for Imac users.

I had been meaning to buy this style of cover for some time. I wanted something with a slim profile to cover various different items without compromising any closures and of course offering a complete blackout.

I waited to review as the reviews I read before purchasing were varied. I’ve now had these installed for roughly two months and can happily say i have had no issues with them remaining intack since installation and they are offering complete cover. This is a very simple yet smart design and although I innitially thought this was pricey (even on a deal), I now feel these were worth every penny.

Things to note….this is a very very slim design so might be a bit fiddly for some. Make sure the items are clean and free of greese/dust and is dry before hand. I used tweezers to place onto items to ensure I got the right fit, pressed firmly and held for about 10 seconds, then left it for about 12 hours before attempting to slide (I didn’t need my camera so was perfect). Instructions are simple but as with all similar you want to leave it alone for some time to allow it to adhere to the surface. I think this is likely the issue others may have had…just do it when you know you wont need the camera!

I brought the larger pack to have extra and would recommend this item for sure. I can see these lasting well. Only thing i would say, if using on a phone, be mindfull that this may cover other icons (eg. Battery/signal) depending on the phone. This may not be an issue for you but worth considering. Tablets/laptops will mostly be fine.

Won’t stick to protective screens. Put it on itouch case and after less than two weeks the slider cover fell off.

Rubbish.

I am so beyond happy with this purchase, I have a MacBook Air and it is the perfect fit. It’s super easy to install and it’s small enough that my laptop closes just fine. With doing online learning, it makes me feel very safe and secure that hackers can’t watch me. Would HIGHLY recommend!
