The build quality is awesome, You can tell these chords are very sturdy and built to last. Both on the head and USB sections as well as the chord wrapping itself.

I received these charge cords, tried them both with my iPhone 8 Plus and neither of them would charge my phone (green charge). I purposely bought them because they said they would definitely work for iPhone 8 Plus. Sent them back immediately and got a refund. So I cannot tell anyone if they are a decent cord because they just didn’t work. Really frustrating. Never again.

There is physically nothing wrong with the cord at all. It is definitely durable and didn’t pull apart like other charging cables I’ve purchased. But after 5 months it just stopped working. It is still in pristine condition with no damage at all. It just decided to no longer charge my phone which is definitely disappointing.

I have a case with a pretty large opening for the charging port but this charger is way too bulky to fit into it, never had this problem with any other charger! On top of that, I charged my phone (without the case on, eyeroll) once and the charging block and my phone got very hot after about an hour. It also charged my phone way slower than my apple cable. Definitely returning.
EDIT: The seller reached out to me and offered me $15 to remove this comment. I do not believe that would be fair to the rest of potential buyers so my comment stays. I was refunded by amazon with no issues anyway. iPhones are expensive, Id rather pay a little more to not damage my battery with cheap chargers.

I have purchased this product twice and both times the ends have broke off. This time 2 weeks out of a 90 day warranty the last was three weeks past I should have learnt my lesson the first time. Do not buy this product only 90 day warranty and they don’t last much after the 90 day.

We go through these things like there’s no tomorrow. The kids hook them up and wander all over (within 10′ feet, of course). They roll over them with their chairs, drop stuff on them, etc. We tried expensive ones but they made no difference to the lifespan so now we buy the cheapest ones we can find and keep a bunch on hand. Hooray for us.

I give it 1 star due to the fact that yes the cords durable (so far) and it works. However I thought I was buying a lightening charging cord and it’s quite the opposite. When using the phone while being charged it doesn’t end up charging at all even though it says it is. When I leave my phone charging, even on airplane mode, it takes hours to charge and won’t charge while using. My Apple lighting charger charged my phone completely in less then 1.5hours and while using it the whole time. Don’t waste your money, unless you want to always have a next to dead battery or no phone for hours while it charges.

My regular thunderbolt cable was fraying quite a bit but I held out from buying a 10ft cable since I had one in the past and it last only a month. I took the leap with this cable and I was pleasantly surprised.
– The cable texture seemed more reinforced than a regular thunderbolt cable and not thin like my past 10 footer. – Charging was fast – Liked the length because really how many times have we sat at the airport in the past close to a plug because the cord wasn’t long enough to stand up. This has enough length that you could sit on your couch and plug it in across the room and still use it comfortably. – I can’t really comment on the durability at this point as it’s only been a short period of time.
I highly recommend picking up the cable for the cost, the charging power and the length makes it highly useful in all situations.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. First, one of the cords would take forever to charge the phone. Second, the other cord which was fine at charging almost caused a fire in my house. The cord was just laying on my bed plugged into the wall but not the phone and it burned a hole right through the sheets and onto the bed as well. Happened while I was in the room. Went to go grab the cord to plug my phone in, and it was burning hot.

The cable itself is very sturdy, but the charging portion on both of the chargers that came in the pack broke within a few months. The charging section snapped off from itself on both of them, so I would say that it is not at all durable… never seen this happen with any other charging cable before.
They both broke from a short fall to the ground when dropped from my bed onto the carpet while connected to my iPad. I suppose a benefit of this is that the charging port of my iPad was saved any damage from the easily broken charger taking the brunt of the impact…
I was hoping it would be good value for the money, but alas its life expectancy was minimal and lived up to its price point. I do not recommend getting these iPad/iPhone chargers.
