This was exactly what we were looking for for under our gazebo! It was a little long (but we knew that when we ordered it, so we just tucked it under and wa-la,,instant “grass” and a nice soft surface to walk on. Will definitely be back to buy more.

I have this product about a year and it is falling apart. The carpet does NOT drain so water pools in places. Most of the “green” has washed away leaving black spots.
It was a good price and looked nice for about 30 days. But it doesn’t last.

The iCustomRug Outdoor Turf Rug has a very good quality build to it. I bought 2 different sizes to cover my entire balcony and could not be happier about it. The whole experience has been amazing, from the shipping time, tracking, easiness to install… I recommend it.
I live on the second floor and there’s natural grass right underneath my balcony. After installing the iCustomRug, now it feels like my balcony is an extension of the garden. I’m amazed.

Loved all the size options (particularly larger sizes). Arrived within days and packaged so well we were able to store it outside in rain and wait for nice weather to lay it out. The quality is great for the value (light but thick and durable and reminded me of the stuff in the 1970’s though the colour is more true to life). We are using it to cover a large, square patch where we removed sod this spring for an above ground pool as we intend to put the pool back next spring. Folds came out quickly. Any carpet smell disappeared quickly. Kids and dog are running around on it and it is looking good. It’s been swept/raked no issues.

Instead of replacing my large, aging cracked wood deck with the cost of over $20,000, I have purchased several pieces Indoor/Outdoor Turf Rugs and Runners for under $1,000.00 to cover the entire area, end to end. Everybody in the family loves it. Now they can walk around bare feet or sit down around comfortably.
It stays flat and taunts when using screws and washers at the corners and along the edges facing the wind. Ther are no water pooling after the rains at all. Pleasing to the eyes under harsh sunlight.
They’re thin but are OK for me. I ‘m planning to fold or roll them back to store inside during Canada winter.

Laid the carpet directly over gravel and held it down by adding pea stone around the edges. It has not budged for over a month. Had no issues of it arriving folded as the creases went away within 24 hours. Only thing I wish I had done differently (my fault) is buy a thicker rug as it is very similar – not in quality – but in thickness of those you can buy in big box stores. The main difference is that it is stitched around the edges which is a big plus. I would definitively buy from iCustomRug.
Note: I figured out that the larger the piece you buy, the cheaper the cost per square foot. Makes sense to me.

I purchased the 6×10 rug for our outdoor patio area thinking it would be a nice area rug and I liked the idea that it was presented as being like artificial turf. When we received it, it was very thin. I mean extremely thin. Thin enough that we received it in a box, folded multiple times into a relatively small square. I guess I was thinking it would be sent like a rolled up carpet. We unfolded the rug and put it outside on our patio to see how it would look. The rug was bright green and didn’t have the look of your average artificial turf. And because the rug was extremely thin, we were not confident that it would hold up in an outdoor patio setting with the hot California sun. Also, there were so many deep creases in the rug due to it being folded up, that it would have taken a steam cleaner or something to get the folds out. We decided to return it. After two weeks of iCustomRug having received the rug, I had to contact the seller to remind them about the refund. They did respond right away that they would process the refund, minus the return shipping and a 20% restocking fee. I wasn’t surprised about the return shipping fee, but a 20% restocking fee? This was news to me and I don’t recall ever reading that I was subject to a 20% restocking fee when I purchased the rug, but I didn’t argue as it was worth it just to send it back. My final thought is to just be aware that if you buy this rug and you don’t like it, you will be charged quite a bit just to return it.

Poor quality. Very thin. It’s so thin the black underneath shows through where folded. The “grass” is so thin it does not even stand up, more like a flat woven mat. The only good thing is the color. It looks like real grass but not worth the money otherwise.

Overall, for the money it’s a great value, however it’s not perfect.
Pros:
-Relatively inexpensive
-Looks nice
-Appears to be well constructed (haven’t owned it long enough to tell)
-arrived quickly
Cons:
-Smaller than advertised. I purchased the 4’x10′ and it’s about 3″ short of 4′ which can make a big difference.
-the texture is a bit off. For anyone who is expecting this to feel like sports turf (soft, smooth) it won’t. It feels a bit rough and almost sticky.
-it arrives folded, not rolled. That’s understandable but it causes the carpet to come heavily creased. I’m sure in time it will flatten.

Looks nice , feels good , came fast! Only issue is this rug would be perfect if just used outside… Intended on using it indoors but the carpet sheds all this black specs of plastic as if you sprinkle dirt everywhere u take This rug… Not happy about that will be a pain to constantly clean the rubbery mess with no vacuum that has a rotter..

Best for the price I could find. Super thin and lightweight. A light breeze will blow up the side if you don’t have something holding it down. I am happy with purchase because I just needed something cheap to warm up a concrete balcony. I use patio furniture to keep it from blowing away. If you are looking for a durable turf for years of use, then I would shop something more premium and expensive. I think if I put it away after summer I can use next year but not expecting much more. Feels OK under bare feet. The underside has a black coating the rubs off a little on concrete and water does not dry out quickly on the underside(doesn’t breath well) although the top side seems dry, something to consider if mold underneath is a concern for you. Buyer beware. This company DOES NOT offer free returns. There is a 20% restocking fee PLUS you have to pay for the cost of shipping it back. In my case, this amounted to 60% of the cost of the actual item. That’s awful customer service.
In terms of the actual product, it is very cheap and thin. The smell was very strong and terrible.
Before purchasing this product, I would ensure you really want it because returning it will cost you.

I bought this to redo the bottom of my boat, I have had this installed now for almost 3 years and it is completely exposed to the elements 365 days a year including sitting in the baking sun all summer long. This does not get hot in the scorching sun so it is still great and comfy on our bare feet. It is not super slippery when wet either as this is in our boat and we often have wet feet getting in the boat. I highly recommend this, great fake grass.
