Brought this mould while we we’re isolating as something to do for the kids and a little treat. There super easy to use, clean and brought smiles to the whole family with perfect hot chocolate bombs. Enjoy

Molds are pretty thin, but they worked for chocolate bombs. The chocolate pops right out, but be sure to ‘paint’ on multiple coats of chocolate, otherwise they’ll break when you take them out. Was deciding on large or extra large, but large is perfect. Extra large would be too big to fit in mugs.

Sorry but these were a bit to small for what I needed them for so sending back my fault for not checking size properly over all a good product though and good quality

These worked amazing .
I used straight melted chocolate (not tempered) and I was so excited with how smooth and easily they popped out. The surface of the chocolate was really, really smooth, which I attribute to the perfect finish in the silicone. Anything with *any* texture or imperfections in it would undoubtedly make it stick. I’ve looked into silicone molds quite a bit over the last few months.
If you check my pics, first time using them: I “painted” melted chocolate into these, then into the freezer briefly , then pulled it out, piped cheesecake filling + ganache and brownie pieces into them. I also used a cup to cut out homemade graham cracker crust that fit the bottoms perfectly, popped them on top of my fillings then “painted” more chocolate on the flat side to seal it all in. I ran out of my brownie bottoms so you can see I also used a regular Oreo in the chocolate treat on the cutting board, then again, used a brush to paint melted chocolate so it all sealed. Then kept them in the fridge and they held perfectly. Super super easy.
Keep the mold on a flat sheet pan/cookie pan when handling them in and out of the fridge, and you’re good to go.
I included photos of the exact sizes measured, and compared to a loonie.
Enjoy and get ready to experiment. The sky is the limit with how creative you can get with these.

Worked perfect for hot chocolate bombs. I’m not sure why in the question someone said they don’t make full spheres. That’s not true. They make perfect balls. Great good quality product
Edit, ordered a second time and received a sub par product. It’s too bad, the first molds were awesome! Second, useless

I used this to make hot chocolate bombs. Perfect size at 5cm for the mug and holds just the right amount.
Great value for money.

The material of these molds is so thin and flimsy that even just setting them on the table causes the the bottom of the mold to indent up. There is no way that I would be able to fill them smoothly and they will definitely not hold the shape, especially for hot chocolate bombs. They are not usable. Tried to get a refund and the seller said that description was clear enough and ended up only giving 40% back. Look elsewhere for molds

Made some delicious white chocolate peppermint candy for my Christmas dessert platters and everyone loved them. They’re the perfect size for rich desserts where all you need is just a bite.
Very good quality and not the cheap, floppy stuff. No weird smell out of the packaging.

They work fine. However if you want something smooth this wont be it. there are impurities on the plastic that do come out on whatever you are molding. Its not 100% smooth, it has a scratched surface look to it. They are actually hard to clean because stuff sticks to them easy.

As many other reviewers have said, these are much softer than you think.
They worked for my purposes, mousse cakes, but there were several moments where I had to gingerly move them into the fridge due to how soft they are.
For a sense of how soft they are…my jeans are slightly more sturdy than these. However, they do the job so I can’t complain on that front.

I couldn’t wait to try these molds so I made a batch of coconut truffles (the neighbors love me lol). The molds were fairly easy to coat with chocolate (the hardest part), easy to fill and the finished product just popped right out.
These make a decent sized (I got the small size) chocolate, 3 bites for me and of course 1 bite for my husband but still a good size. I’m pleased with them.
