Cute and comfortable. I bought this chair to replace a stool that was part of my vanity set. I wanted support for my back. This chair matches my vanity perfectly, and fits into it. Worth every penny.

Edit: I was concerned about this chair being top heavy and it falling backwards. ■Confirming it has tipped backwards and if I hadn’t caught it my honed slate tiles would be damaged.■ I didn’t save the box to return earlier and didn’t ask for a refund. I will be buying another vanity because this one IS dangerous.
PROS: The stool is beautiful, very well made, sturdy, solid metal and slides great on our tile floor. It should last many years with normal use. Be sure to follow the directions in the exact order, line up the bolts and washers by size before starting. The upholstery is a light color, but if it gets stained or worn it could easily be upholstered by buyer. It fits perfectly under my vanity.
CONS: My biggest concern is that is very top heavy. The backrest is so solidly made it can tip over easily if leaned on. Always slide, don’t lean on back while moving or stationary. ■■ Children and elderly could easily pull over, fall, tip it onto themselves and be injured. ■■ 3☆ because of the pros -2☆ because of cons

I am hoping this was a one off because I liked the style and the comfort but I’m sending this one back. It was shoddily packed and impossible to put together: the holes didn’t match up, the screws didn’t fit, and after over two hours trying to put together a seemingly easy piece, I am packing it up and sending it back. I will try it one third time (the first time it was lost in the mail!!) because The style was just what I wanted but I’m not very hopeful…
UPDATE:::: Amazon was prompt in sending me a new chair and I put it together in 20 minutes. All the pieces were there -all was easy to assemble and I very happy with my purchase. Third time was a charm!!

My husband did a have any problems with assembly. It really is a gorgeous chair! It has the right “presence” with my bedroom furniture. Let’s be real… I’m 60 and am not into pink furry vanity chairs! The cushion is harder than I would like but it is not an issue since frankly I’m not spending hours pimping in front of the mirror.
