Very happy with this heater. Using it to heat a sunroom that was previously unheated and closed up in the winter. Keeps the room very comfortable so far even though we have had several days below freezing. The WiFi works well and the Smart Life app makes it is easy to program the heater to set different temperatures for different times of the day. One thing I would change is the control panel in the unit. It’s a touch panel that does not stay lit up so you don’t know where the buttons are until you press one of the buttons, which is hit or miss. It’s finicky even to turn the unit on or of with the physical buttons. For this reason, I always use Alexa (also works well) or the app on my phone to control the heater. As you might expect, the heater consumes a lot of power – more than other 1500 watt heaters I have used. I have it on an energy monitoring plug. So far in November in Toronto I am averaging about 20 kWh/day running it 24/7 keeping the room at 21 degrees Celsius. I expect in the dead of winter that will go to 30 kWh/day. Worth it for us for the added space during a pandemic winter. So, as a heater alone I would give it 4 stars, but given the excellent WiFi functionality I’m giving it 5 stars.

I purchased this heater to heat a 384sqft garage in Southern Ontario. The garage itself is very lightly insulated with the roof being R20 fiberglass and attic foil barrier used as a ceiling, the walls are insulated with R8 and covered with wood paneling. The heater itself ran continuously on max temp (37°C) with the fan on high for 4 months straight with no issues. The coldest it got this winter was around -22°C the heater held the temp at +10°C the entire time no issues. Now obviously you arent wearing shorts and a t-shirt but its a comfortable temp to be in vs -22°C. Noise level is decent i do sit right beside it and it doesnt bother me when im watching TV or listening to music. If i had 2 units im sure it would hold the temp at 20°C no problem. Its spring now and i can confidently say this is a great heater, on average it will hold the temp atleast +10°C aslong as you have it in a somewhat insulated area.

I appreciate that it connects to the smart home systems. Almost all WiFi controlled outlets cannot provide the current required to operate this type of device. As the WiFi control is built-in there is no issue with this aspect.

Having a small local remote in addition is useful also.

It still plugs into a regular 15A receptacle.

This model is to be installed onto an interior or insulated exterior wall (to allow the thermostat to function properly.)

The black lower portion is the outlet for the heat and it will have a red glow from the infra-red heat source. A fairly quiet fan circulates the heated air.

Wow this lil unit first looks amazing and set up took minutes. I like the smart features and able to control and monitor temp from my phone. Basement tenant kept complaint that it was too cold and I wasn’t able to regulate her floor without making the main floor roast. This unit helps offset the pressure from the furnace. Not sure about the cost efficiency yet though but place in the open living room and dining room and is working super well.

O compren varios.

Awesome product! Heats my 200 sq ft shop with ease. I love the wifi. Can turn it on from anywhere and check the app for the current temp. Would buy this again for sure. 👍

Easy wall mount installation and simple to use. We have a lot of windows in the Kitchen with only one heating duct. It gets a bit chilly in the winter. The kitchen is now warm and cosy especially in the mornings. Our home is a smart home with more than 34 appliances, lights , TV’s, thermostat etc. connected to Amazon Alexa. I knew the heater was connected to wifi but was somewhat surprised it could be controlled by “Alexa”.

My baseboard heater in the basement takes forever to heat the room, and leaving it on was out of the question after looking at the heating bill. This heater however has met all my expectations. It heats the whole room up super fast, and I can turn it on from my phone without going into the freezing basement. It took a while to figure out the wifi setup with a 5G connection. But when I tried another option by connecting like it was a Hotspot, it worked! I love how it doesn’t dry out the air as well. Overall this is a very good heater.

Our master bedroom is above the garage and thus has 3 outside walls, it also has large windows. So in winter the room is cooler than the rest of the house. I was considering various ways to add a heat source to the room including baseboard electric heaters (complex) and insulating heat ducts (not practical as they are enclosed between the garage roof and bedroom floor. Searching on amazon I came across this Heat Storm heater.
As you can see from the photos, it is an attractive but compact heater made for wall mount. Installation is easy since a screw hole template with built in level is included. The heater has a built in digital thermostat, fan and heat controls and display brightness settings. It also includes a very useful and compact remote control – you can adjust all the controls from your bed. Although not yet in the dead of our Canadian winters, the heater is making the room much more comfortable.
I highly recommend the heater as an additional heat source for a cool room.

Just a heads up, if you do not plan to wall mount this unit and you buy the WiFi model, you will need to purchase the feet from the manufacturer’s website for $9. Otherwise I’m quite pleased so far. Quality is good. Unit is quiet. Heats up fast. WiFi was easy to set up, stays connected and reconnects automatically after power interruption. Will edit this later if for some reason it fails to perform when the temps drop in the next few weeks.
Mid winter update : it’s still great. Happy with it and would buy again.

I have two of these in an insulated garage. The garage is large (3 car) and has windows in the west facing garage doors which allows the sun to help warm it in the winter. I only had one 15 amp circuit servicing the wall outlets in the garage so tapped into an outlet on the opposite interior wall that was on a separate 15 amp circuit and installed an additional outlet. That lets me run two units in the garage. I tell Alexa to turn them on about a half hour before I want to go out and work in the garage and by the time I go out the temperature is up to 66 or 67. We’ve had temperatures in the upper teens at night but our garage never gets below 50. I do not leave these units on all the time. I just turn them on if I’m going to be working in the garage.

My daughter lives in my basement, so I needed a heater that would work in about 410 sq feet. I also wanted it to be wall mounted, and the fact that this one worked with wifi was a plus! We’ve been using this heater for about two weeks, and it’s been getting pretty cold at night. This heater has been doing it’s job! My daughter loves that she can set a schedule and change the temp from her phone. The remote works fine, but she prefers using her phone because it’s so easy and is always with her. We didn’t have any trouble at all setting up the wifi or using the app. This is supplemental heat; however, it gets pretty cold in the basement. There is only one heat duct down there, so most of the heat from the forced air furnace goes upstairs. The fact that the heater is up on the wall instead of sitting on a table or the floor means we don’t have to worry about it tipping over or items getting pushed up against it. The thermostat seems to be pretty accurate, unlike other heaters we’ve purchased. It’s extremely quiet, and again, being up on the wall helps to heat the space more evenly. So far, this heater is doing a great job and is much better than others we’ve purchased.
