Nice overall design. Overpriced… No tripod, View not that impressive, sent it back for a refund. Would have kept it if they gave me a decent real tripod. The mini tripod is great for displaying on the dresser, but useless othwerwise. Wise up dudes, and lower the price for Christmas with a real tripod included and then I may reconsider it as a useful item to have around. Otherwise I’m looking around for a better deal.

I’ve only had the Gosky spotting scope a few days replacing a cheaper scope. I’m impressed with the brightness, it’s easy to focus and the image is quite sharp almost all the way to full power. I find full power is not really needed for my use which is mostly for nature and at the rifle range where at 300 yards I was able to see my shots no problem. The smart phone bracket is a bonus that takes a bit of adjusting to get centred properly but it’s fun to play with. I have yet to try the scope at night but I don’t see any issues. I didn’t want to spend over a thousand or even several hundred dollars on a scope I’d be afraid to bang around…..this one is perfect for my needs.

Great spotting scope for the price. Tends to be a bit blurry over 30x magnification. It will show a. 223 hole at 200 yds. no problem.

I bought this to take picture of nature at my country house with my iPhone. I am very happy with the clarity of the lens and truly impressed by the magnification. Both the house and the cell tower in the included pictures are about 1 mile away (1.8 km). The pictures do not entirely render justice to the clarity of the lens as it is very hard to take a steady picture with that level of magnification. It is just physics. Even a little bit a wind can create a blur. At 60x, you will need a solid ground and calm weather conditions. Also I found that just touching the phone to take the picture could create a blur, so I put my iPhone on a 10s timer or I filmed at 4K and later select frames. The included iPhone attachment works rather well but it can be a little subtle to adjust perfectly. The little tripod included is well built and useful but I also got myself a sturdy high quality tripod for outdoor.

Really wanted to love this. A reasonable price and would have been ideal for our needs living on the coast overlooking the Bristol Estuary, but unfortunately it had to be returned as it failed on two fronts, firstly the zoom mechanism was unacceptably stiff meaning that if you set a view on a target and attempted to zoom the target was invariably lost. Secondly there was a manufacturing failure inside the lens mechanism that left piece hanging and visible through the eye piece. Shame. I hope I was just unlucky and this was a one off, but just wanted to share my experience.

I tested this scope and feel it is nothing more than an overpriced toy. The tripod is flimsy and barely holds the weight of the scope.
The images are foggy and dark making it useless beyond the lowest setting.
There was also a very toxic plastic smell which caused me to get dizzy and gave me a headache. I do not even want to think what kind of chemicals were used. Returning.

The zoom is clear and scope is easy to use. Everything fits nicely into the included carry case. Cannot tell you how rugged it is, due to I am extremely careful with my devices.
I would have give this a 5 star, but I did not receive the upgraded model, I received the previous model. Was not overly happy, but too much of a hassle to send it back. I sent email to company asking for warranty inf and asked the question here, but to no avail, no answer.
Would I buy this again? Yes, but would not pay a premium for an upgraded model that was not sent and misrepresented.

I was cynical about the optical quality of a monocular worth 15K INR. The binocular that I use costs 35K+ but that’s something I use most of the time. The spotting scope I bought was mainly for wetland birding, including coastal, shore and offshore birds, something that I won’t be indulging in too much post the migratory season is over (in India it hits peak between Nov and April). Hence I didn’t wish to spend much. However, the optical quality and the utility of the mobile camera adapter has far exceeded my expectations. Please check the images of the ducks and the terns shot from over 75 and 100 meters away respectively. With patience and some practise, you can get images useful enough for identification when your camera and binocs fail, which is often the case in wetland birding. It’s not a substitute for the photographic lens is what one must remember. Once you accept that fact, it is a great monocular for spotting and identifying distant birds at an unbeatable price.
I have not used it for any other purpose yet, but my wife plans to use it for stargazing. Once she tries it out, will update or tell her to post a separate review. A slightly heavier build would have been preferable since I found it unstable in windy conditions at 60x zoom. But I guess this is what you can expect for 15k. The mini tripod is an absolutely useless accessory included in the package and I have trashed it already. So I suggest Gosky remove it and deduct a few hundred bucks off the price.
Bottom line: 20/10 for the mobile adapter, 10/10 for optics, 6/10 for build and ergonomics and 0/10 for the mini tripod.
Give a thumbs up if you find this helpful.

The image quality is awesome! The environmental factors (heat waves) will distort it, but that’s just the way things go, especially at high magnifications. I’ve never used a spotting scope or a full telescope before, but this has been solid for me. We even use it from inside our home, through a window and it works well!
I’ve used it to view animals (coyotes), birds, and even the moon and some planets! It obviously won’t be as strong as a high quality telescope, but it’s pretty great.
It has a lifetime warranty – I emailed the customer service to set it up.
I haven’t tried the tripod it came with although it seems pretty solid. I’ve been using a different, larger tripod.
I haven’t tried other slightly more expensive scopes with comparative optics, but I’m not disappointed in this at all. Quite pleased actually!

Easy to set-up and use. Nice to find the small tripod was made of metal and not plastic. The shudder on the video is passing, speeding lorrys at 3am. On the lowest zoom find your object, then twist the coller on the scope from 20x, upto 70x zoom, then make the object crisp and fully in focus by twisting another knob 10x. Finally zoom in on your phone to get a full screen image with no circle.
The Mobile phone attachment is very useful. It is a frame that fits on your phone, adjustable to the lens position on your phone. Once on the phone put over eyepiece on the scope and twist the coller to lock your phone in place. This method is easy but could be redesigned to click on with a rubber sheild to illuminate light from the contact between phone and lense. This would be better – clearly. I however had no issue filming and photographing at night.
It’s a very good scope, the quality I can’t fault. If you want to photograph moving objects like airplanes, this will be possible by calculating the speed and direction and setting the scope ahead of it and wait for it to enter view. I can see this can be used to photograph bird on nests. It’s not something’s you can quickly pull from your pocket point and click to capture a flying bird however as it does take a moment to set up.
For the money I’m delighted. I’ve used it once so far. I went outside at 3am and stayed watching the Moon for 1.5 hours.
Remember you get what you pay for. Get the highest zoom in your budget. I’m glad I purchased this. A van or shed is never big enough and a zoom is no different, no matter the power we will want more, so buy the most powerful zoom your budget allows.

Had this for a few weeks, feels very well built. Its easy to use on its table top tripod. The magnification is impressive at x60 maximum. I was drawn to the ability to attach my phone to take photos and it works pretty well although as others have said the clamp that holds it to the eyepiece is clever but a little fiddly to keep in position when moving the scope as with a large phone like my iphone 11 pro max. The weight of the phone causes the clamp to rotate if its moved away from it centre of gravity.

Well, just got it out of the box….setting it up is easy…lovely clear picture…slight blurring at max zoom, a fine focus might help, but that option wasn’t on this model.
As has been stated in other reviews, phone camera setup is an art in itself!… Very fiddly!!… Like juggling cats!!!
If anyone one knows of a better 3rd party system, please let me know!!!…..
Now if it would stop raining long enough to look out the window!…….

Got to learn how this scope works by looking out the back of my trailer. I looked across the lake, a distance of about 500 yards and could see the leaves that were left on a tree. Focus was easy and fast. Played with the smart phone adapter and took some great pics. This is great value for the dollar.
Addition: went to the range and used the shooting scope to help in sighting in my rifle scope. At 200 yards there was no problem seeing the hits and counting them. The misses were long gone. Lol. A friend was with me and he had a “b” scope. The scopes were similar in power and his was not as clear as this Gorsky. He asked me where I got my scope so he could order one. Don’t be shy, order one. You will be glad you did especially about the value.
