I will be the first to admit I was a bit skeptical about the effectiveness of the weighted blanket and a bit fearful I would feel pinned down. I have been followed by a sleep clinic due to insomnia ,trying many different methods to improve sleep quality. The weighted blanket was suggested to me by a friend who swears by them, after researching the different weights, sizes and reading all the success stories I decided to give it a shot ( I had nothing to lose). The blanket arrived in a beautiful carrying bag, a deep grey/bluish colour, soft and top quality, the blanket has a “sand like” substance inside instead of beads which I LOVE the weight is evenly dispersed over the whole blanket and stays that way! ( my friend has one with beads and I found the weight was not evenly distributed and would shift depending on your movement) I put the blanket on my bed ( I selected the 15lb blanket) and went to bed that night and slept for 5 hrs straight!!!! I can not even tell you the last time this has happened…..This blanket has changed my life!!!!! I feel like a new person I think everyone should have one! They are worth every penny. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this earlier! I am ordering one for my sons bed and one for our camper, I will not ever sleep without it!!! GnO exceeded all my expectations and has developed a top of the line product!!

I’ve had both anxiety and a hard time sleeping for a while now, and with various health issues popping up I needed something to help more than ever. This blanket is amazing, and has helped me greatly. It comes in a nice bag for carrying, and the blanket is really well made and is a nice comfortable material. It’s a nice heavy blanket, but not suffocating. It did have a slight smell when I first opened it, but by the time I had re-made my bed with the blanket the smell was gone. I’ve definitely noticed myself getting a better, deeper sleep, and just helps me feel more secure and calm at night. Overall I would definitely recommend, especially since the price is good compared to many other blankets I’ve seen!

This, for us, does exactly what it’s supposed to – provide a heavy weighted wrap around feeling to promote sleep. We fell asleep quicker, slept deeper and resumed sleep quickly if we awoke. The weight stayed evenly distributed, the grey bamboo material was smooth and comfortable.
However, after a coupl of weeks we decided it was actually too heavy and even though it was the largest they offer, it wasn’t large enough to cover both of us and fall over the edge of the bed. As a consequence it always ended up in a pile in between us.
Summary, great quality and it works. The 12kg weight was too much for us, we would have preferred 9kg option i think. Also perhaps with a 6ft wide bed, we shoul have gone for 2 smaller blankets – one each.

I bought one and suddenly both my teen daughters started wanting to cuddle in my bed with the blanket and me again like old times! Gno is magic. Soft, heavy, not too hot, pure happiness. Of course as every good mom wants optimal vibrant health for their kids, I bought them each their own within a month. Note: teens do their own research these days faster than moms and my oldest found another brand with excellent online marketing. Tried and returned within a month and bought them exact same Gno 15 lb one like mine. Happy sleep, happy family.

Really believe that this has helped with itchy restless leg, and sleepless nights. My partner and I are definitely sleeping more easily now and I never end up without a cover in the night, it’s too heavy to be readily pulled off.
Would definitely recommend that you try it.
It wasn’t cheap but it was an excellent investment. I also love the fact that it comes with a removable cover for ease of washing.

It does feel very comforting, I have slept better with it. I have a queen size, which is nice for one adult, because it flows and tucks around your body (It is not suitable for two people in my opinion). The removable bamboo cover material is lovely to touch, cool and smooth, some might say luxurious. Recommended!

i really like this product but it is expensive. I think i would have gone a bit lighter of a product made 25lbs as its really really heavy on you. i get that is the point of it but having it just a bit lighter would give a bit more comfort for me. after the first use my legs and arms were a bit sore and not an expected result but you do get that deep sleep with it.
Disappointed Buyer –
I purchased the 15lbs Queen size (60×80). No matter how I made the blanket, it was smaller than my queen size bed. When i measured it, it was actually 50×80 when the tag keep insisting it was 60×80. I tried contacting the company through their main website, no replies after two weeks. Very disappointed in the customer service and that the product was not the size as advertised.

The one concern I had about this blanket was that it was going to trap the heat and I would be sweating from head to toe. This is not the case. I used this while sleeping with a regular duvet that i use during the winter. Although i was a little bit warmer it was not uncomfortable nor was i sweating. I found that this blanket did help me to relax more and fall asleep faster. I know this because i use a watch that tracks my sleep and it showed that my sleep pattern had improved .
I would highly recommend this blanket if you are trying to improve your sleep, or just want to relax on the couch after a tough day at work!

This blanket is good quality so far. It came in a great carrying bag. You can’t carry it tho because it is very heavy. Purchased the 30lbs as others are to light for myself. It is definitely 30 pounds!!! Its no joke. If thats what you are looking for its awesome.
The otter cover is “BAMBOO”
Not sure if its 100% or not but its extremely soft.
I love to be warm, my husband hates to be hot. This is the first blanket in 16 years we share together.

It’s fine BUT it’s coming directly from China and seems to be generic with the GnO tag attached. I should have gone for something cheaper. All these blankets are probably the same. Way too heavy to bring back to the post office, so I’ll keep it!

If you suffer from any kind of stress, anxiety, insomnia, nightmares, or just restlessness and not waking up refreshed and energetic, I would definitely recommend this blanket.
Since I have been using it, I have definitely noticed that I sleep more deeply, and feel better in the morning.
It’s a very soft and comfortable blanket, and you get used to the extra weight very quickly. My cats seem to enjoy snuggling on the blanket as well!
I will probably be buying an additional blanket for my mom who wakes up frequently in the middle of the night due to chronic pain, and can’t get back to sleep. I am confident this will lessen her tossing and turning.
My only issue is that I ordered the gray and I was sent the blue blanket instead. It is very nice, but does not match my room as much as I hoped.
