My husband thinks this works great. I do not. Many times it has failed to tell me about cops with radars, and it is constantly chirping “K-band” to varying degrees of urgency but seriously? I’ve yet to see the relevance of a “K-band”. it also constantly but randomly tells you “Over speed” and I think, well, duh. I know. That’s why I got you in the first place, so I COULD go over speed. Talks too much about nothing and misses the times when it should speak up.

Easy to hook up but gotta get the hard wire in because the cord placement is something I don’t like in my car.Detector seems to work great in town so far.. haven’t used it on the highway much. But pigs do turn their radar on and off so detectors don’t pick them up. So be careful and this is a good way to give people a chance, with this detector!

There are a lot of negative reviews about this radar detector but everything has worked perfectly for me. Bluetooth links immediately when I get in the car and the wifi immediately connects to my home wifi when I drive into the garage. The unit immediately downloaded the latest database and firmware files when I first set up the wifi. I have one false positive coming from a grocery store on my way to work and after passing it a few times the 360c learned the location and stopped alerting when I passed the store. I can’t speak for the customer service many are complaining about as I haven’t had any need to contact CS. I HOPE these bad reports aren’t true because it would be a shame to tarnish such a good product with the bad CS and the company indifference many reviews have claimed to have experienced. I almost went with the Uniden r3 but liked features of the 360c so took a chance and went with this one. I’m glad I did.
UPDATE: The radar detector is still working as described in my original review. I did have one question and contacted customer service. Unfortunately, all the bad things that have been written about this companies CS seem to be true. I gave them a week to respond before writing this update and I have heard nothing back from them. As the bad rap about Escort not responding to customer questions is all over the internet it is impossible for me to believe that senior management does not know this is happening and they just don’t care. Unbelievable! I am downgrading my rating from 5 to 3 stars as customer service is so important and is literally non-existent at Escort.

I travel a lot of miles and I was looking for a good detector, I already own a Cobra in our other vehicle which has been pretty good and cost $249. I have to say the experience I have had with this particular unit is well below par and actually less accurate than the Cobra. It very often throws up false readings. I have no confidence in it’s abilities at all.

This radar detector is the worst piece of junk I ever bought. It cost over $700 with tax. It does not work. There were many occasions when it should have gone off but didn’t. I was driving in South Carolina when all of a sudden there was a trooper parked on the grass under a tree facing the oncoming traffic. The radar detector didn’t make a sound.
My daughter was following behind me so I promptly called her (as she had a passport radar detector). I asked her if her detector went off and she said yes, for approximately one mile prior to approaching the trap.
Another incident was just a few days ago. I was driving in Maine, there was a trooper parked in a maintenance area with his radar gun hanging out the widow aiming at oncoming traffic, not a sound once again.
There are many more scenarios I can write about with similar outcomes. The detector just doesn’t go off.
I tried calling Escort to get service on the detector. At first they told me their service department wasn’t open
due to the covid 19 pandemic. That was over two months ago. Now you can’t even get anyone one the phone.
Everytime I’ve called the lines are filled in the que and they hang up on you. This is unbelievable , can’t get an exchange or service. I’m now stuck with a radar detector that does not work and I can’t do anything about it.
Product terrible , customer service non existent. Guess I’m out 749.00. Do not buy.

The difficulty scale is 5 for installation also it took awhile to be comfortable with the app. Overall it’s a good buy and worth the money if you can afford it

In Canada it gave mostly false readings and when there was a cop there it would give you a warning when he was too close to be able to do anything about it. Definitely not worth that kind of money

The Mag Mount did not cling to the windshield. I tagged it with 2 of my cars and 1 of my friends’ cars. It all lasted from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. I think the vacuum connector has problem.

My old V1 blows away the 360C ‘s ability to see Laser, this unit is blind to Laser.
Also tested it against my buddies Uniden R3 and it blew away the 360C in all long-range detection of radar. Sorry for you Escort, you know how to build performance, this unit sucks for the asking price. It look really pretty though.
This is going back and never to return to Escort. Better performance out their as much lower cost.
