THE KNOB ON THE COVER IS NOT HIGH ENOUGH. VERY HARD TO HOLD ON TO. ALSO THERE IS NO SPOUT TO GET RID OF OIL OR LIQUID.

With the 14″ Dash electric fry pan I was able to fry 23 perogies. Normally, with my12″ teflon pan, I would have to fry the same amount of perogies two times over, which would double the cooking time. I can fry eight long & thick slices of bacon in the pan. After that I would fry 6 eggs in the pan. Again It reduces the time in half and both the eggs/bacon don’t stick to the pan. It is non-stick and easy to wash. Two thumbs up.

The knob on the lid cracked during the first use. Called company and said part was on back order. That was 3 months ago! Called again and customer service said part was backordered and “have no idea if or when it will be in”. This skillet is useless to me now. DON’T BUY IT!!

I bought the Red one…took it out of the box and loved the look. The temperature control element that plugs into the skillet would not stay attached. When I finally got it to stay attached, it didn’t heat up. Big let down.

I love love love this skillet. One thing I learned is to keep the lid on when frying/cooking. When frying, if you keep the lid off, you loose your heat. You need to leave the lid on. So, no popping of grease either. I’ve also made rice in this skillet and also heated up chicken wings and added sauce to them. AWESOME. Customer service is great too. I broke the handle when installing it. Yes, my fault – I didn’t read the instructions. I called customer service & they told me the handles were on back order but would send me one as soon as they could. Note: I could still use my skillet as it was a small piece on the handle that I broke. 3 weeks later I still didn’t receive the handle so I called customer service back. The handles were still on back order. CS is sending me a label to return my skillet and is going to send me out a brand new one. Can’t ask for better CS than that. I would reorder this skillet again. LOVE LOVE LOVE

The glass top cracked under pressure the first time I used it. After browning the hamburger meat and adding the other items to the meal, I heard a “snap”. The heat was only on low to medium. Glass went all in the food that I was preparing. So disappointing. I immediately threw everything away. Food, skillet and all. I will never order another Dash product.

For the most part, I love this skillet. It’s easy to care for, has a very large cooking surface, and heats quickly and evenly.
The only issue I have is it specifically says you can bake with it in the product description but the temperature dial is just low-high. No temperatures, which will require a lot of experimentation and probably wasted food on my part.
Also the recipe book has no baking recipes, which would have been helpful.
But if you are looking for a great skillet to fry, sauté, and so on, this one is he best I’ve tries so far in this price bracket.

We used this only a short time and the electrical plug-in cord shorted out and caught on fire! It was never put in water, dropped or damaged. Now we can’t use it. I loved the big size of it I am sad it was so poorly made.

My only complaint is the low temp isn’t very low. Hard to simmer anything. Otherwise its perfect

After purchasing this item I had no idea it was as big as it is. It’s a good working skillet and lots of room to make a full meal for a family of 4.
Works great for making stew as well with plenty of leftovers for the next day.
Easy to clean with nothing sticking to the bottom

This is a huge skillet. Great for a large crowd..or for a small crowd. I made pizza, sautéed veggies, pan fried fish..etc.
Cleaning is easy because the skillet is not heavy. Love it
