I bought this for my Ruger 10/22. Went on easily. Great optics for the money. This is NOT a $300 scope, but if you are looking for an accurate and well functioning scope, look no further.

I really like this economy scope. It seems to hold zero better than I do! I had nice groupings even with all my wiggling. I’ll have to rig up a mount on my next range day and see how well my rifle/scope combo work together.

The optics were nice and clear with no distortion. My biggest issue was shooting with my glasses on. I need bigger glasses or a way to keep these from falling down my nose. I didn’t use the illuminated crosshairs because I was having too much fun sighting it in and I forgot. The laser needed a significant amount of adjustment, but not a big deal. It was plenty bright at the range. I’m not sure how well it will be visible at 100 yards in daylight. My guess is not very visible at all.

All in all this is a great little economy scope and I’d buy another one in a heartbeat. Perfect for an AR or a 22.

UPDATE: I just mounted this on an AR15 6.5 Grendel with an 18″ barrel and a bipod. I’m nailing 1/2″ to 3/4″ groupings at 100 yards. Holds zero PERFECTLY on this more powerful AR. Now… I just wish it had more magnification! Cannot recommend this inexpensive scope highly enough!

UPDATE #2 After several hundred rounds, the scope mount rattled loose. I pulled the scope of the rail and removed the two allen screws that hold the scope to the mount. Just a little blue loctite on the threads and it’s good as new. I’m ordering another one!

This scope really gives you the most bang for your buck that you will find on Amazon, eBay, Craig’s list, etc. The magnification works superbly, offering clarity for close-in as well as distant targets. It doesn’t require batteries unless you want to use the laser and illuminated reticle, and you can shoot bull’s eyes all day long from 25-300 yards. The mil-dot reticle has 1/4 inch per click adjustments at 100 yards for elevation and windage. The scope is a sturdy one pound of aluminum, glass optics and electronics.

While I planned to just ignore the laser and red/green illumination of crosshair functions, seeing as all the batteries were included, I am using them now as needed. The laser helps you zero it in quickly, and since it’s strong enough to be seen in daylight out to almost 100 yards, the laser is an asset for quick target transition, close quarters, and for defensive use of your rifle indoors. Nothing is more intimidating than being painted with a laser. The illuminated reticle in 5 levels of green or red works well for target acquisition in almost any type of daylight. You won’t use it at night, though, as it blinds you of your vision downrange.

In summary, this solidly constructed scope has good optics, with magnification from 2.5 to 10x, and extra bells and whistles in the built-in laser and illuminated reticle. For under $40, this thing is a steal! Oh, and it looks good, too! Definitely has the “tacticool” factor going! See picture for example.

This is a great scope for the price. I put it on a 5.56 rifle, fully prepared to return (or trash it if it failed outside of retrun window). But this turned out to be good. It has held zero after ~800 rounds. It can stand up to scopes that cost 10 times as much.

I believe that the reason for all the bad units that customers recevied is quality control at the manufacturer. For example, 5-10% may be defective. But those are not defective, are as good as any high end scope. And that is how they can offer it for such low price. The QC for 99.9% quality costs a ton, and makes the Leupolds of the world pricey. Here the manufacturer/sellers seems to be making the trade off – acceptable higher failure (and thus return) rates for keeping the price low.

My two cents – if you get a defective piece, try returning and getting a replacement. Chances are that you will get a working one. If not, retruning is always possible with Amazon.

The guy who says he put adhesive everywhere obviously doesn’t know what he’s doing. Didn’t hold up to a pellet gun? It’s held fine on my AR-15.

This scope is great for it’s price, definitely a bargain and you won’t find a better scope within $50 of this. It has held up through almost 1000 rounds in my AR-15 and the only issues I have had was that the part that holds onto the rail gets a little loose at times, just have to make sure to tighten it as much as you can. The scope is easy to set up, easy to zero in, has surprisingly good clarity for the price and I have not regretted my purchase one bit. I’ve only used this scope for target practice and it’s served it’s purpose well. I have not used the red dot sight all that much but it works flawlessly from what I could tell.
