This unit is quite tall and vents heat from the back close to the top, instructions recommend not putting it under the upper cabinets as they will be damaged by the heat. This means you need to place it in an open area of the counter away from upper cabinets. Works very well though. Make great toasted bagels etc. Great for chicken wings fries etc.

This air fryer has been in constant use since receiving it. I wanted an air fryer that would work for a family of 5 and so far so good for fries or chicken fingers for snacking but it is not large enough for say steaks, chops or pizza to feed everyone.
It does take about half the time as a regular oven to cook and our teenagers use it regularly where they wouldn’t think of heating up the oven for themselves.
If you are placing this unit under a kitchen cabinet you should check for condensation as you might damage the underside.

The unit functions perfectly. I did order one with a slight imperfection, but when It came it was badly dented upside down in The shipping box. The delivery person also just left it sitting in my driveway. The one drawback of the oven, is that you have to soak the trays immediately after using them because they’re extremely hard to clean.

Received as a gift, decided to embrace it so have tried a number of recipes already – and am surprised by how much I’m loving it. On Air Fry it bakes so quickly, crisply, evenly. And IT CLEANS EASILY!! I roasted a whole chicken, Buffalo Cauliflower (coated in hot sauce, powdered cheese etc.) and other dishes right in the basket (baking tray underneath) and expected a LOT of soaking and scrubbing as with regular baking. Nope – easy-peasy, most rinses off in hot water, the rest comes off with a nylon brush or sponge. PHEW! (I would recommend cleaning the basket/tray/pan and wiping the inside of the Air Fryer after every use.) Yeah, this Cuisinart Air Fryer is so wonderful I may end up using my big oven for kitchen storage hahahahaha. 😂

I purchased the Cuisinart TOA-60C air fryer, convection oven from Amanzon.ca
It was delivered April 27,2020
It stopped working July 2, 2020.
Now it does not turn on, nor does the function knob rotate.
I called the Cuisinart customer service people on July 6th at 2:30 PM as directed and no answer after it rang and rang.
I am looking for a refund.
I do not recommend this oven.

We own several Cuisinart machines and, sadly this AirFryer, is my least favourite. It really lacks when it comes to cleaning. The bottom tray is aluminum and won’t clean properly no matter what I do, and it stinks at times when the machine heats up. If it was stainless steel it wouldn’t do that, period. The frying basket is questionable as to what type of metal was used, and it’s discolouring. The only piece that seems okay, is the grilling rack. As for the door, the supposed metal inside is already discolouring due to heat (I can only guess). I have only ever used hot water and dish soap to clean the racks and interior of the AirFryer, because I believe if I use anything abrasive, I’m done. The only part of the machine that seems to be genuine stainless steel is the outside, the rest is questionable, and I wonder if it’s healthy to use.
As for cooking, it works fine on small items, i.e. sausages, toast, drumsticks, legs, thighs and breasts, and other small food portions. I haven’t tried a pizza yet or anything bigger like a small chicken. It took me a bit to figure out what temperatures and settings work for what meat.
Overall, I have mixed feelings, and I don’t use it as often now, due to the problems with the racks. In some respects, I feel like I wasted $200.00 bucks. The cleaning is an issue for me. I understand that in time even stainless steel can discolour slightly and, even stain, if the food burns bad enough, but you can still clean it.

After all the great write-ups recommending this oven I have been sorely disappointed in it. Been using it since November, and following their instructions to the letter, virtually everything comes out overcooked, dried out, or burnt. The oven temperature setting is way off, being about 50 degrees hotter than that selected on the dial. The timer is inaccurate, and the cord and plug get very warm. Also no pre-heat available. The drip tray stains easily and is near impossible to get clean again. Been cooking for a lot of years using a toaster oven for smaller items and thought this item might be more versatile. Boy, was I wrong. Will be giving it away to someone else who may want to try their luck with it. Bought a new B&D toaster oven today to replace it.
