Cheap product I must say. On the 3rd step the table is damaged now please see the pictures. I stopped assembling it thereafter.
I wouldn’t recommend this product.

No instructions included. This is the main reason for the lack of stars given. I am very lucky to have a husband who knows how the assembly. Then again “men never read assembly instructions “. I searched website and nothing. We have wood parts and 6 bags of screws/bolts/dowels everywhere. We worked together as a team, studied the photos and about 3 hours plus later we had our table and chairs.
Nice set but be prepared “no assembly instructions “.

This is pretty neat and my daughter loves her new table! I was reluctant buying it based on so few reviews and one of them bad but this was easy to assemble (easy enough for the wife to do it on her own) and is actually quite sturdy. She did use an electric drill to ensure it’s tightly put together and so far we cannot fault the product. The storage inside the table and underneath the chairs are an added bonus and it’s the perfect height for our toddler (22 months).

I read the reviews after having assembled this set. I understand people’s frustrations with the assembly. It is not easy and is time-consuming (~3 hours). My advice is to take your time, don’t force anything, don’t over-tighten the hardware. As with all assembly, keep screws loose until all screws that fit into a part have been aligned and started. That’s particularly important before inserting the last four screws on the table top. Everything fits, but you have to use a little finesse and patience. Anytime I swore (literally) that a piece didn’t fit or was poorly engineered, the problem ended up being due to a mistake on my part. If you can get the pieces assembled without forcing anything, it is very sturdy. Some people complained that the dowels were loose fitting. I think the dowels are not intended to hold it together, but rather to make sure the pieces are properly aligned, thereby facilitating assembly.
