Very nice product. I had originally bought the A6 thinking it would be better. After finding out it did not have android auto included I returned it and bought this. It is an incredible radio for $200. The android auto works perfectly, touch screen is awesome. It even comes with 2 screen protectors. People had said it looses time but I have found that is only due to having the update time via android auto. If you turn off that feature it works fine. The equalizer is much better and the USB cable is actually capable of being mounted. If you are debating between this one and the A6 this is the better option.

Chucked this into my 2005 MX-5 and it’s great – interface is responsive and Android Auto works perfectly! Quite configurable to make it suit anything, can even change the colour of the illuminated buttons
Only negative is the somewhat cheap-feeling buttons, but if you can hook it up to your steering wheel controls that’s not a huge problem

Bought the ATOTO SA102 Starter as a replacement for my stock Toyota Sienna 2006 stereo.
The YS102SL (SA102 Starter) works as advertised. With the 7.0.2 firmware I have so far not ran into any here previously mentioned issues. Works well with Android Auto and Easy Connect. (I’ve not tested Apple CarPlay).
Installation in Sienna is super easy. The only tricky part is to figure out the Sienna wiring, but it was easy to find stock radio wiring diagrams on internet.
Last but not least, ATOTO pre-sales support was excellent. Sheila from ATOTO promptly answered all my e-mail questions to my full satisfaction.

I have tried to use different cables, phones and many other things with this headubit including the cable that has come with my phone. Customer service has not gotten back to me and I would appreciate help with the product. Carplay works as expected, however android auto rarely starts and if it does it drops out after ten minutes, no matter the phone or cable. It seems like it is a software or firmware problem. I had this headunit professionally installed. Everything else works perfectly. Just not android auto. I bought this expecting it to at least function.

This is one of the cheapest head units on the market with Android Auto, on par with the Boss Audio unit when it’s usually on sale, but it blows the Boss out of the water by far. The screen is super clear (true 600p resolution, which are usually only found on the very high end models of name brands) and is a very responsive capacitive (glass) touch panel. The internal amplifier sounds great and is actually on par with name brands, unlike the very weak ones of other cheap head units.
The unit itself feels hefty and well made, tactile buttons, and even came with two screen protectors which was a nice touch. Boot time is alright, not fast by any means, but still quicker than AX100. As with other ATOTO units and unlike most cheap no-name head units this one is the “name brand standard” 173x97mm panel size meaning it WILL fit just fine into Metra dash kit without trimming. THANK YOU!
The main and only noticeable issue though is that sometimes upon powering up the unit, the time/date and all radio presets will have reset. This is not a problem for me as I don’t listen to the radio and my car (Audi A3) has it’s own clock in the dash that I prefer to use, but may be a problem for some people so perhaps it can be fixed in an update. If you use iPhone the clock shouldn’t be an issue, as CarPlay will automatically sync the clocks whenever connected if they are different, but the radio presets will still get reset.

I purchased the ATOTO SA102 for: backup camera and road navigation via Android Auto from a Xiaomi cellphone. This head unit provides these capabilities and functions as advertised.
PRO:
1. Good price value head unit that provides capability of backup camera and Android Auto / Car Play.
2. With AA/CarPlay, there is no need to pay for updated navigation maps, which could be updated for free via the phone.
3. Good and fast customer support. They provided updated firmware, which is important to fix any unanticipated future deficiencies.
CON:
1. There seems to be only one compatible backup camera (ATOTO AC-4486) available to connect to the SA102, which does not have high resolution nor LED lights for night vision. There are many better backup cameras from other manufacturers available with higher resolution and lower cost but it is not possible to determine their compatibility with the SA102.
2. The main connector harness and video connectors could not be inserted into the female sockets of the SA102. Some filing and cutting of the male connectors are necessary to make it fit.

CarPlay is great! Firmware ok. Screen quality is good. Sound quality decent but has poor quality with certain frequencies (I used to be a studio musician). Has glitches where it forgets the date, time, time zone and it is really annoying to put this in every week. Please fix your firmware. 2010 GMC Sierra
Update: I contacted their customer service and they gave me updated firmware I was able to flash to the device fixing the issues. The 7.0.3 firmware seems to be much more stable. You have to register your unit on their website and contact their customer service to get it. They were very helpful with other questions too.
