Wondering why these batteries aren’t lasting longer than your GoPro Hero 8 ones even though they are advertised at 1500 mah? Well because they aren’t. They are falsely advertised as 1500 when you will be lucky to get 1050. So they are misrepresenting the numbers by up to 50%. I received 3 and tested them all with a UM25C USB Voltmeter numerous times and here are the best results after about 8 charges and discharges.

Well it is a cheap battery that fits in a Gopro. I am quite disappointed. The batteries drain quickly when in use. They do not last as long as the gopro name brand batteries of the exact same specifications. I would say you get half the amount of time on them. PLUS!, the battery charger only charges the batteries to 80% give or take. When the battery charger says they are fully charged I can put them into my gopro and it shows them at 83%. Bummer.

Despite being 1500mAh the battery does not seem to last as long as the OEM batteries. I love the charger size as it packs well into travel case. Hoping the batteries will sort themselves out after several charges and improve their longevity

I bought Hero8 with 2 original batteries. It drinks battery juice like anything. Also, it’s highly inconvenient charging those batteries keeping inserted in GoPro while charging. I was looking for a charger to charge the spare battery.
Guess what I got, its a 3 batteries charger, with batteries and the best part, is its a box. I am not loosing any of these little batteries.
It charges pretty quickly, fully compatible with my Hero8 and lasted more than original GoPro batteries.
A must-have if you love your GoPro camera, you will enjoy it more with this product.

Only used for 20 minutes with lowest settings at 100%, turned into %40.
I love the charger idea but the batteries suck.

Batteries were bought for my GoPro Hero 8 black. When verifying the status in GoPro battery menu, it indicates that they are fully compatible with the device. I cannot speak at this point about longevity since I just got them.

Not as good as the original battery, really disappointed with there charge lose while sitting for less than an hour.
Charge up the batteries to 100%, put them in the camera, go to shoot a video on my bike ride 30 minutes or an hour later, and the battery stays at 75-80% (lost ~20% while doing nothing), then battery quickly drops to 50% or lower in first 1-2 minutes of filming.

There are a lot of things I like about this product. So lets list them off shall we? But first, my one complaint, I want to get out of the way to help explain something later.
Battery indicator:
As described, the device turns a red light on to indicate it is charging. Once it is charged, the light changes to green. Twice now the official Gopro battery I have has been “charged” with a green light indicator, but when I go to use the battery, it is not at 100%. I have a hard time believing that the battery has degraded enough to let 3-4% go in a couple hours off of the charger. The Artman batteries have been just fine however.
Battery Life:
I ran a comparison on both the Artman and Gopro to see which would last longer. Started off a video of 4K 60fps and let them run until it died. Now as stated before, the Gopro battery was not at 100% when it started but I did the math to figure out how much it SHOULD have recorded.
Gopro: Starting Battery %: 94% Ending battery %: 2% (somehow didn’t die completely?) Time recorded:59 min
Artman: Starting Battery %: 100% Ending battery %: 0% Time recorded: 63 min
Theoretically, the Gopro at that rate, should be able to go from 100%-0% and record a max of 64 minutes.
To summarize battery life, the offical Gopro battery has 1 more minute of life. Not bad Artman, not bad.
Design:
This is another area I think this product does well. It is not just a charger, it is also a battery holder. I have already used this a lot and it is so handy to be able to just unplug the charger from the cord, and the top is snapped closed. Nice little square that can be easily placed in my Gopro accessories bag.
USB C is real nice to know you don’t have the “which side is up” battle.
Summary:
This product is concise, compact, powerful, and a good deal for the price. Would recommend.

I have a GoPro Hero Black 7 and it chews threw battery power pretty quickly. I have purchased an older version of compatible batteries from this same vendor and decided to try these new ones. So far from what I can tell they have BETTER battery life than the previous version and maybe even the OEM GoPro battery. Now, one big plus of this unit is the charger. It has a lid and the batteries stay in there much better than previous versions or other third party chargers I have seen. If you have a compatible GoPro, you should feel safe in buying these!!!

Two batteries dead on arrival, and the third one only lasts for about 20 minutes in my brand new Hero 8 Black. The GoPro battery lasts for hours, so it’s not a problem with the GoPro. These batteries are total garbage….. save your money and purchase elsewhere.

I don’t expect much from battery life in my GoPro, and these seem to last about as long as the original. It’s nice to have three quick-charging spares in a contained unit for charge-and-go workflow. Really pleased with this purchase.
