It’s a great little tripod for keeping your mobile device steady. You will need a phone holder but those can also be purchased pretty cheap. I personally use the

    Cell Phone Tripod Adapter – Bluetooth Remote Control – Travel Bag – iPhone Tripod Mount SE 7 6S 6 Plus 5S 5C 5 4s 4, Galaxy S7 S6 S5 S4 S3 more Cell Phone Tripod Mount Clip Holder – DaVoice (Black)

and it fits very well with the tripod.

That being said I do NOT recommend attaching a DSLR to the tripod, it’s too small and it will tip over very easily. It is possible but very dicey and will very likely result in the camera tipping over, especially if you use anything but a very small lense. It’s just too small for a DSLR.

I haven’t tried it with something like an iPad but I suspect it wouldn’t be very well suited for that for the same reasons a DSLR doesn’t really work, it’s just too small to be able to balance well. It’s really made more for small mobile devices such as an iPhone, etc.

I bought this tripod for my Gosky 12X55 monocular in order to take steady long-distance photos whilst attaching my smartphone to the eyepiece, whether doing this from a window sill indoors or in the great outdoors. This little tripod is excellent for this purpose for three reasons: the telescopic legs are sturdy and stay firmly in place (my previous tripod kept collapsing due to the weight of the monocular and phone); once screwed into the monocular base, it stays firmly in place and there is zero wobble (unlike two other tripods I’ve used); and collapsed down, it measures 11cm X 3cm, which means it takes up hardly any space in my bag whilst travelling. Obviously, as this is a mini tripod, you need a high surface to stand it on, but this is more practical whilst on hikes than walking around with a full-sized, three-foot camera tripod. I totally recommend this.

This is a close copy of the more expensive Polaroid version and although I bought this thinking it was an exact copy, it is not. This one is almost the same size when collapsed down, but with the legs extended it is considerably taller. When locking the head in place it does not hold as tightly as my Polaroid one and so my EOS M camera will slip more easily on this one unless I make sure it’s locked really tightly. It’s possible that this is just because it’s new and shiny whereas my Polaroid one is older and more scratched up on the ball, though I can’t say for sure until I have used this one more. At $4 less than the brand name version and with the extra height I think it’s worth buying this over the Polaroid. I have added photos to show the height difference. What a great little folding Tripod. Glad I bought it. Can’t say why it claims to be “light” because it isn’t. And it shouldn’t be. It’s a tripod after all and it has to carry some weight. Well made, it feels substantial in my hands. Surprised me, given it’s size. I like the rubber feet which makes it a sturdy little beast. Delivery was fast fast fast. Thank you Amazon Canada. You did good.

The weight of a phone will tip it over, unless you extend one leg further than the other 2 to take more of the weight.
The ball-and-slot joint, which is just under the top screw, cannot be held still by the perpendicular screw (with the semicircular handle) so cannot stop the phone from going out of position – any slight bump will make it move, if not fall over. Inexpensive so I thought I’d try it, but I have to get another tripod anyway as I need one that actually works!

It is a great little unit if you are looking for something to mount a small camera. Things like a Logitech video camera for your laptop or a Gopro camera would be excellent for this mount. Anything bigger would not be stable at all.

Other tripods I have used have longer legs but the legs spread out a lot further. So the legs are wider apart and the whole unit is lower than this thing. This unit sits higher and the legs aren’t as wide apart leading to it being much more unstable.

It seems fine for a small camera with almost no weight and only if it is on a very flat, level surface.

It is definitely very light and if you have limited space to place the tripod, the small footprint when legs are open is a good feature.

I’ll probably use it for placing my Gopro camera on my desk or some other flat surface.

The ball-swivel is very poorly made, it is either completely loose or very tight. There is no middle ground where you can do fine adjustments on the camera position. The knob for tightening the ball swivel is also located in line with the direction in which it tilts, so with the camera attached and angled, it will block the adjustment knob so you can’t tighten it in place.

Overall, pretty useless, I am going to have to extensively modify this tripod to make it work.

However, it is very small and folds up so small that it is (barely) worth keeping.

Firstly, if you get the tripod manufactured in 2019, the MRP printed will be Rs. 319. If you get tripod manufactured in 2017 (for example) the MRP printed will be Rs. 765. Whatever the scenario, Amazon is selling it for more than the MRP.

I first received with MRP Rs. 319 and I immediately contacted the Amazon customer care, pointed out the issue and the difference amount was refunded in Amazon Pay Wallet. Later when I was playing around with the tripod, i noticed it was defective, the top part was crooked. I placed a replacement request. The next day a new tripod was delivered.

The second tripod that was delivered was manufactured in 2017 and had the old MRP printed of Rs. 765. This piece was proper and didn’t have any defect. I tried using it with Canon 1100D / Rebel T3 with the kit lens 18-55mm and it took the load well. You really need to tighten the ball joint well which moves 360 degrees.

I fixed the mobile phone attachment (you don’t get this with the tripod) and used Nokia 6.1+ with no issues.

This tripod is for point and shoot cameras and mobile phones specifically. Could be frustrating handling a DSLR on this if used often.

The tripod otherwise is sturdy and made of good quality, can’t be said as to how long will it be durable.

I ordered this stand to go along with my Logitech C920 Webcam HD Pro also here at Amazon and it screws in with a very simple approach that works great.

The unit itself is solidly constructed with metal/rubber/plastic components that work great with my webcam.

Adjustability is great allowing for a tightening and loosening thumb screw that tilts up and down and the little tripod legs simply fold up for easy portability although it’s not too large either way.

My only gripe is the thumb screw for the up and down tilt seems to come loose quite easily and you need to be cautious to tighten it as firmly as you can and it may still loosen with slight movement or changes in placement.

No question that for the money, this is very difficult to beat, especially with the compatibility with very budget friendly cameras and up as well.

I wasn’t expecting much but this little tripod is very good. It is small but It’s heavy and well built and very easy to use. Pop on the camera..tighten the circlular thingy and you are good to go. Knob to set the angle is like (meh) okay. Didn’t have any problem with it yet. Overall it’s worth the price and serves my purpose.

To start off, do not buy this if you intend to use it for anything other than a webcam. It is not meant for that despite what pictures show.

I use this with my Logitech 922x and it does the job exceptionally. I’m not sure why some people complain about stability (unless they are using it for anything other than a webcam) because it holds my webcam fine with no wobbling whatsoever. There is a a hand-screw on the side to secure it from moving around. This mini tripod also has two extension levels in addition to its’ default state, allowing you to adjust it fairly high up.

Don’t spend anymore than you have to for a webcam tripod and buy this instead. You cannot go wrong with this mini tripod.

I’ve had a few little tripods that came free with other products and look pretty much like this and all but one of them were total junk – and the one that was actually usable was too wobbly to trust. I needed a tiny tripod that actually worked so I gave this one a try based mainly on positive feedback. I wasn’t disappointed.

The tripod looks and feels far better quality than the others I’ve used but is also rather heavier too despite being smaller. This is not a bad thing. The tiny ball head locks solidly despite the locking screw feeling a bit vague, and more importantly it doesn’t move the camera when you lock it as the others do. This little design improvement really matters – it’s really annoying to see the camera move from where you carefully aimed it when you tighten the ball head.

For what it’s worth it also holds a lot more weight than claimed quite easily but be aware that the tripod’s footprint is tiny so the weight needs to be pretty well centred to avoid accidents. Buy it – you really can’t go wrong for less than a fiver 🙂
