Wings on the clip mount broke on first use, plastic quality is very poor. You get what your pay for I guess. Chest mount itself whilst still made of the same plastic is a bulkier piece and seems to hold up a bit better. Time will tell.

The strap itself is excellent. However, the clip to to hold the camera broke right away on the first use. Good thing I had backup gopro clips to use. The straps and everything else are excellent.

Just got mine… I’m 6’1”, 195lbs and it fits fine but on the largest setting and what I want it for is skiing so I need to use over a jacket. It is pretty small to use over a jacket. I also echo that the clip used for the mount is made of cheap, brittle plastic. I don’t expect mine to last long but I have a few of these at home so no problem.

First of all I was slightly apprehensive about this product due to the price but so far it has been very durable. It’s very lightweight and easy to use, once you have it on you don’t even realise it’s there. I have used it in mud, rain etc (I used it for competing in a tough mudder event which was a 10 mile course) and it is brilliant. One downside for me was that you cannot face the go pro high enough, I.e it is facing slightly towards the ground more than I would like it to. Apart from this it is a very well priced and comfortable product and would recommend it.

Bought this for a couple hikes – it seems to hold it’s own. For most people i think this will be great – personally i would have liked something with a bit more spring to it (i.e., tighter cinching) but it wasn’t at the point I was concerned it would slide loose
The stitching is decent and the material quality is quite good for the price

Unfortunately not the best product from amazon choice, I had to throw it away after the 1st wearing because got broken

Second time assembling it, and the first time i was really heading out to use it the special foot / adapter broke. It has 2 plastic ears than snap into place. Well they just snapped off. Looked for customer support, they only offer phone support. On hold for a couple minutes and it disconnects.

Once again I am over the moon with the quality of Amazon basics products.
This harness does the job perfectly and is just as adequate as the more expensive official GoPro chest mount.
The straps are of good quality and the buckles are as well. Look no further if you are looking for a chest harness to mount your gopro, you will not be disappointed.

Chest mount received today. Opened the box, product looked great. Secured the GoPro to it, put it on myself. Tried to strap it and it broke straight away. Returning it straight away.

Needed a chest mount for my 4 year old but couldn’t find the gopro jr mount anywhere. I took my chances with this one and got lucky, it fits. Had to use clip on the one strap in the back to hold the camera at chest level. This mount also fits me.
The camera bracket on one side did break after the third use.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one just don’t touch the camera mount once installed on the chest mount.

This sells for a FRACTION of the official harness (13$ vs 50$) and it works perfectly fine. I sadly lost the official harness, which is why I bought another one, and I really should’ve bought this one in the first place…

– Offers more adjustable options than the official one – the back strap is adjustable on this one, whereas the official gopro has no back strap adjustment
The major difference, other than design, would be that GoPro’s is maybe SLIGHTLY more comfortable, but it is so negligible that you don’t really notice the difference.

Just got 1 delivered 20 mins ago, took it out the box, went to unclip the fastener and it broke, didnt even get as far as trying it on
