I received the cart yesterday and put it together myself. I didn’t have too much trouble, though I figure the reason it is suggested that 2 people put it together is because an extra pair of hands would have been nice, but all in all, it went well. I had it together in under an hour. Not bad for someone who is 65 years old. I think this cart would be perfect for so many things, laundry room storage, closet storage even in the garage, the possibilities are endless. The fact there are 4 good quality wheels included is great, 2 of them are locking. I wanted to use it as a rolling cart for some smaller appliances so I installed the wheels. It does come with 4 ends to put on that screw in the bottom of the legs if you want the cart stationary. I like that the shelves are adjustable so I could put the shelves at just about any height I wanted. It arrived perfectly without damage and was well packaged. I am super happy and would recommend this rolling cart to anyone. I waited until today to leave feedback as I wanted to be sure the cart with my appliances on it was still standing strong. It is, very pleased with it.

I picked this up on sale for around $34 w/ prime shipping which was a steal of a deal for this shelving unit. It arrived undamaged, although it could have been packed better as a few parts were unsecured in the box — I’m lucky none of the paint was chipped. Setup was simple and took less than 10min. Included are adjustable feet, rolling castors, and a spare shelf support. I’m using the adjustable feet configuration so I can’t comment much on the castors, aside from the fact that the wheels are plastic rather than the higher quality rubber wheels. The adjustable feet work well. The shelves are surprising sturdy and seem to hold up well under reasonable loads. The plastic shelf supports can be adjusted to move the shelves up or down. When you have the four supports set to the height you want, you just drop the shelf over the supports and press down to secure it.

I’m very happy with my shelving unit. It’s sturdy, it looks more expensive than it is, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one.

I finally got all the things on my pantry floor off the floor. The cart is quite sturdy and beautiful enough for display in the kitchen space but I I bought it for my pantry.
Setting it up was a bit tricky but easy once I realized one part was mislabelled as G on the instructions and E on the part itself. Since I didn’t have the part G, I used what I had and it worked.
I will definitely recommend this product.

So I was paranoid because I was seeing all the reviews and complaints about how flimsy this is, how it arrives damaged, how the parts don’t connect or close completely, blah blah. I too saw that the shelf sleeves that hold each shelf don’t close completely. I looked online and at videos and then I really thought about the design. Why would you want them to close completely? You don’t! The engineering behind it is to create a tight compression when the shelf is forced lower by the weight of what you stack and by the taper of each sleeve. If you had something big enough to close completely around each leg, you would not have this tightness and you would then have long-term problems with the shelf collapsing. It’s this “error” in manufacturing that makes this product very durable.

Bottom Line: Don’t believe the complaints. Buy this shelf today. See my pic as proof. Probably over 50lbs with car tools and parts alone.

Before buying this, I had read in one of the reviews that the shelves were actually to be placed with the “border” down. That was not such a problem for me because I was mainly wanting it to store a pile of books (in which case the border would not be of that much help). Read on for the review.

Delivery & Packaging:
This product got delivered on time, but within a minute of delivery, another delivery guy came up and mentioned that the product had been cancelled and he needed to take it back. I showed him the order tracking, and he then confirmed with the DC (distribution center) that the product was recalled back and would be delivered afresh. The next day, I again received the message that the product would be delivered, but it was not delivered. It was finally delivered 2 days after the first delivery.
The packaging looked like it was opened up and shabbily sealed with tape again. After opening the package, the inner contents which were supposed to be packed in smaller plastic covers were all strewn throughout the box. A wrench that was supposed to supplied with the product was also missing. Apparently, it looked like a case where it had been purchased by someone and then retured. Too bad that Amazon.in could not re-package it nicely again.

I wanted to return it, but I did really want to use the product. So I decided to assemble it, and return it if it didn’t work out.

Assembly:
The product came with fixed legs, which can be removed and replaced with the wheels provided. This is good because if one wanted the self to be unmovable, the legs could be used instead of the wheels.

The plastic sleeves which are supposed to hold the shelves do not fully close around the legs. Also, the manual mentions that the shelves are supposed to be placed on the sleeves. However, if I did that for the bottom most shelf, the whole trolley becomes unstable. To overcome that, I finally used the bottom shelf upside down. That way, the shelf was able to go completely over the sleeves and get a tight grip for the bottom shelf. I was able to place the rest of the shelves with the “border” on the top side.

The assembly itself should not take more than 10 to 15 minutes, but I feel because of the sleeves not closing completely, it took me much longer. I think this could be a manufacturing defect.

Overall utility:
So far, I have been able to use it for the purpose I needed (keep large quantities of books). The wheels are smooth, and moving the trolley is a breeze. I am a bit skeptical on the amount of load it can take (mentioned load in the manual is 68 kg when in motion, and 100 kg when it is stationary). Its stability is also questionable for me due to the assembly issues I had. I will know that in due course.

So far, it looks good and serves my purpose quite well.

Update (August 2019): The shelf sleeves were looking a bit unstable. So, finally decided to fit all the shelves with their “border rim” down. This resulted in the shelves fitting around the sleeves. It is now looking sturdy. Note that the product image (zoomed) in the product description shows the shelves fitted with the border rim down.

Update (August 2020): It’s been one year since I have been using this. It is absolutely as good as new. Nothing to regret other than the price. Just a reminder: please assemble it correctly.

I am using it in my small kitchen as a cart for excess pots n pans as well as my storage containers for items like flower, sugar, etc. So it is handy but the one time i moved it since putting it up the wheels did not align well for a smooth roll and no the wheels were not locked.

I was thinking if it was sturdy enough to get another one to act as a plant stand, but I doubt after the experience with the one I currently am using in the kitchen that it would glide very well on the carpet as it had a little difficutly on linoleum.

Overall, I am happy with it for what I am using it for now, but I am going to look around for something thatis more sturdy for my plants and less likely to catch or topple over on the carpet for that purpose. That being said, I feel the value factor it is priced a bit too high

I was on the verge of returning the whole thing until I read a previous review stating the top shelf must be installed upside down (compared to the other two) to secure the whole thing. Otherwise the whole unit is a wobbly mess. Once the top shelf had been flipped the legs were secured and held in place. This should really be stated somewhere as I can see this leading to a lot of frustrated customers thinking they’ve bought some cheap flimsy unit.

Overall worth the money and does the job as expected. Check the dimensions are what you want as it’s a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures – but dimensions listed are accurate so should be no confusion.
