Basically wood with paint on it, not even smooth…so will be impossible to wipe down from dust!!
Will NOT work in a washroom unless you seal it yourself.
May keep because I like the brackets, and buy my own wood to make better shelves

These shelves went perfectly with my sons space themed room. I love that you can attach the braces to Either be above the shelves or below it. I feel it makes them more universal for different spaces. They are very lightweight but are also perfectly sturdy. They also came with great Sheetrock and stud anchors for safely attaching the shelves to the walls. I’m impressed and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I am now stuck with shelves that are useless, because know way to ensemble them because of the way they are made, can not get a screwdriver in the hole to assemble them. I was buying stuff in advance for a new place, so now the return day is over, never thought to look at them before hand. Who would ever think that that you would not be able to screw them together. I live on very tight budget so to some 40.00 might seem oh well but this is extra spending money for two months.

Cheap wood. Not sanded properly. Looks like they just painted it, and the paint soaked into the wood. If I were to spill water, it will soak right through. Wood is rough, not smooth at all.
Have not installed it yet, but am confident that it will hold some weight….
Honestly, I feel like sanding it down, even if it means scratching off the paint. I wouldnt be able to dust properly otherwise.

The wood is cheap…. I could have gone into the dumpster found some cheap wood and slapped some grey paint on there for cheaper. Completely false advertising and the sellers should be spoken to. The wood is so light too it feels cheap. The “wood grain” looks really nice like real wood in the photos online but in reality looks like my 7 year old found a scrap piece of wood behind our shop and painted it. Don’t have the time or patience to send back just warning others to not buy this product.

I think they’re over priced. The wood is really light, would be a better value to just buy an $8 plank of wood and cut it down.

Once I finally got the shelving installed, all was good. They look sharp and the brackets are all good. They work for what I had in mind. That being said, the installation hardware for drywall was totally useless. After two attempts of the anchors for drywall simply twisted and broke off in the hole, having to be drilled out, I used my own anchors with no problems. I did use the proper anchors and “attempted” to install per the included instructions. Also, I had to use an angle screwdriver in screw the screws into the anchors as a regular screwdriver simply would not work unless you put the screws in at an angle, not flush mounting.

So since covid hit, I have realized how poorly organized I am in my small apartment. I have a big open space of wall area above my sink and little to no counter space. Since I am in an apartment, they do not want holes in the walls so I needed to find shelves where I could use command strips on. These worked perfectly. I cleaned my wall with rubbing alcohol and got some sturdy command strips. So far so good! The shelves themselves are not huge, but they can hold my butter dish, all my teas, and anything small that I can get off my counter so I can actually have more space. I will be ordering more for my bathroom!

As described. 4 stars because half the metal pieces are slightly bent and it ends up looking uneven and not symmetrical on the wall once you attach them to the boards. Providing all the screws and dry wall anchors was helpful. I do wish the shelves were longer, but that is a personal preference and not an item fault. It is easy to rip the board when attaching them to the metal pieces, so be careful.

Not at all what is described. Very cheap product. MUCH smaller than indicated in the ad. The “wood” feels more like styrofoam and instead of rustic grey, they are more dark grey/blue. Difficult to install, and the screws provided are not the correct length. I need these for an event in 2 days so don’t have the option to return them. I will just lightly sand and paint them light grey myself, but am not at all happy with the purchase.
