Mr. M. Arif –
I have a HDMI cable and USB mouse connected to this on my MacBook. It works really well. I am a little far away from my router so I brought a long Ethernet cable. When I connect the Ethernet cable to it, my internet speeds are really slow to the point where I can’t do anything. Speedtests show 1000 ping, 1mb download and 0.2mb upload whereas my usual speeds are normally 7 ping, 35mb download and 10mb upload. A big drop and it must be this Ethernet port because I tried it on another device with the cable and had no issues in speed. I’m better off using WiFi from far instead of Ethernet port.
Aside this issue the rest of the device functions really well including the HDMI port and it’s a great size. Gets a little warm but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about

I got this adapter for my girlfriend as she has a 13 inch laptop that she connects to a monitor, power, mouse, keyboard, wireless headset and an ethernet port at the same time. This adapter makes it simple to plug and use the laptop when she is home, it brings the power in and stable internet, it connects the monitor as well and all the accessories needed to use the computer. She does use the SD card as well to transfer the photos and videos as well. All those can be done simultaneously without any major drop in speed rates or performance of any device. keep in mind the monitor runs 4k30 and not 4k60.
The adapter is well built and has sturdy casing, and the ethernet port being the furthest back makes it convenient as it is rarely unplugged from the adapter, unlike the HDMI, USB ports and the SD card input.
Having power also go through this adapter makes it super convenient to not worry about other extra cables.

Bought this to use with my new Chromecast to expand its capabilities. Worked really well with the Chromecast providing it with directed ethernet for smoother streaming. Used it also on varieties of laptops from Dell XPS to Apple MacBook and worked exceptionally well. Quality is in line with my other Satechi hub which cost 3x as much as this. In the end overall good hub for the price that works with varieties of devices.

So I bought this in september and its now march, its been plugged in to my work laptop non-stop so everything has worked really well, all the extra USB slots, the power supply (USB-C also), the additional display and ethernet all coming through a single usb-c cable .. great!..
That is until one day I decided to take my laptop to another room and pulled the USB-C cable out the laptop, it brought down my entire network until I plugged it back into my laptop again. It seems the ethernet port on these has one major flaw, not sure why but I’ve now removed the ethernet and use a seperate usb-c ethernet adapter alongside this.

When working the device is reasonably Ok, my new laptop only has one USB-A port so wanted something to add some more as well as an ethernet connection. Taking up one of the USB-C ports the PD port sounded good.
However despite using the 65w charger which came with the laptop just adding this hub it reports that I am using a slow charger, from the description this is supposed to support more than 65w.
Secondly trying to use this for Skype video calls calls were dropping out, after further investigation for some reason the ethernet connection regularly drops making it less reliable than a wifi connection.

I really like this usb-c hub. I can easily hide it from view by putting it behind my macbook. I previously had one on the left side, that was flush against the macbook, but with time it became less stable and i was afraid that it would bend my usb-c port inside the laptop since everything is hanging on the side, because my macbook is on a desk-support. With this one, I don’t have that fear because it has a small cord, and it enables me to put the dongle behind the laptop on my desk, and everything lays flat against the desk. I also needed a hub with three usb in it, one for my mouse, one for my keyboard and the last one for the cooling pad under the laptop. Plus the ethernet plug, it’s useful to play game and not be on the laggy wifi.

I bought this knowing that this might not work with an M1 macbook air, but I was genuinely surprised when the USB and ethernet cable worked! I havent tested out the HDMI because I dont have a monitor, but so far so good.
The color is a tad darker than the space grey of mac, but I honestly don’t really think it’s bad. The build and quality is surprisingly good for a cheap mini hub as well. No complaints!

I have a Lenovo Yoga 730 with two usb-c and one usb-a sockets. I’ve been using the usb-c for power & second screen (via Lenovo usb-c to hdmi/rgb adapter) and a usb mouse but found it annoying to swap mouse out when using micro sd card reader. I’ve been running on wifi so far but expect speeds to drop and wanted to use my usb-c to lan adapter, but that would mean giving up my second screen or power supply – neither of which would be great as I need to live stream meetings whilst working from home. So a hub was needed…
The hub arrived 10 days earlier than amazon said when ordering – thank you amazon!
Hub arrived, neatly packaged in padded wrap inside a simple card box. Clear instructions – which are not needed as its plug and play! A quick test of all ports showed they all worked.
Note in instructions… “Mouse=100mA,Camera=30mA,Keyboard=500mA,ExternalHD=900mA”
“For a stable connection, connected devices should not exceed a combined current of 900ma”
Time will tell how this works for me, but I thought i’d see what happens under a bit of load…
PD = 65W power supply for my Lenovo Yoga 730
HDMI = screen 2 via hdmi-dvi cable to Dell monitor
USB = screen 3 via lenovo usb-dvi adapter, with dvi-rgb adpater, rgb cable to Sony monitor
USB = Mouse
SD card = 128GB samsung evo plus micro sd in sd adapter (i find it easier to move about & less like to get lost)
1GB mp4 transferred at 20MB/s to laptop and 25MB/s to card – a little faster than my integral sd card adapter so I’m happy with that!
SD card doesn’t seem to go in as far as other adapters, but good for temporary storage (transferring big files).
TF slot feels quite stiff, but goes in well – I would happily use as a more permanent storage expansion.
All work well, both with and without power from Lenovo 65W power.
Hub gets quite warm when powered from Lenovo 65W plug, not over worryingly, but time will tell…
When the hub was on the desk in front of wifi router it interfered with wifi signal for the entire house. WiFi improved once I had moved the wifi router futher away (above and to the side of the hub). Keep the hub away from your wifi router!
Yoga battery life without hub = 8hr30, with hub (and all above devices except the power supply) = 3hr30
Occasional use on battery would be fine, but I would recommend using a power supply.
2 weeks of use every day, remote streaming, and all is well! Definitely worth the money!

Quick delivery, lightweight but… USB-C connector ‘wobbles’ in laptop port, all other USB-C have a tight connection, I worry about this for the long term.
Initial use on LG Gram, Win-10 gave me an error message that Windows did not recognize the device… then I put it between the laptop and charger and got another warning that the power was insufficient to fully charge my laptop… tried to find support for it, the little leaflet mentions a letter/sheet in the package for support, but it was not there, no troubleshooting guide either…
I initially tried connecting a thumb drive and it could not be seen by windows…
However the next day after a reboot, no error message and thumb drives are visible so the jury is still out. I really wanted this unit to work, it has everything I need and like, I will try and use it often before the return date because the wobbly connection is a concern.

Bought a hub to connect an external HDD to my CCwGTV and it worked intermittently, the HDD would connect only when it felt like it. I then realised that it would be possible to connect the CCwGTV via ethernet but the hub I had didn’t have an ethernet port. Found one on Amazon so ordered that… didn’t work at all… not only did it not recognise the HDD it didn’t recognise the ethernet either. Ordered this one after reading another user confirming it worked. Haven’t tried a memory card but it recognised the hard drive immediately without tinkering with settings, it connected straight away to the ethernet (I turned off wifi to confirm that it was actually working!) and since then I’ve also been able to add a wireless keyboard AND a USB camera to use with Google Duo. Partial success also with Zoom except the mic doesn’t work with Zoom but I think that’s a Zoom issue nothing to do with the USB Hub. Seems that for CCwGTV, these hubs are a bit of a lottery as to whether they work or not but happy to find this one and recommend it to anyone with similar needs.
BTW – I’m just using the power adapter that came with the CCwGTV to power the whole thing and so far it seems to be providing enough juice without having to purchase a higher powered adapter. Yeah! It’s these small things in lockdown that get you through the day!

This product seems to do what it claims, but I have some issues with it:
1. It runs ridiculously hot… by which I mean the metal exterior quickly becomes too hot to touch. It’s left scorch marks on my desk.
2. When I first used it, my 16” Macbook the froze up with the fan running at full speed, until I hard powered it off. My Macbook would then not work with this device until I’d run an SMC reset.
3. The HDMI output sometimes delivers nothing but white noise to my monitor. Unplugging HDMI and then plugging it back in seems to resolve this.

USB C Hub Adapter, Ablewe 8 in 1 USB C Adapter with 4K USB C to HDMI,SD/TF Card Reader and Ethernet,3 USB 3.0 Ports,87W Power Delivery, for MacBook Pro, iPad Pro 2019, Pixelbook, XPS, and More
Very nice extension for your laptop. I have a laptop that only has wifi and no ethernet connector so my primary usecase is to enable ethernet wired capability to the laptop when i’m docked on desk with external monitor. Happy to see THREE usb ports while others in same price have TWO. .
The biggest disappointment for me is that the hdmi out doesnt work for me. I Updated all graphics drivers and other updates. I tried various plugs. Just doesnt detect. I connect hdmi directly to laptop and no issue. So there may be some compatibility issues. I tried on both ryzen 5 and ryzen7 laptops i own (fairly recent 2021 specs). Does not work.
Having such compatibility issues with hdmi output is a show stopper for people if you require this. For me luckily i have hdmi out on the laptop already. Cannot give this unit top marks because of this issue. While other units found on amazon have no compatibility issues for me.
