I had a feeling this was going to happen. The way the clip latches to tightly close the case- If you don’t apply a bit of pressure on the back, just latching the clip will cause the hinge to break. The housing is made out of really sturdy plastic. The hinge is a small wire thing that holds a the clip part. The plastic the clip is made out of isn’t strong enough and will break if you don’t close the hosing completely and apply a bit of pressure on the back. It just snapped in my hands without the camera even being in the housing. So be careful!

I got this case for FPV – not for diving. I’ve been using it for about 4 weeks and today my drone took a tumble from a 5 story office building right into the concrete. The whole case was still intact, lens cover was cracked but my GoPro- NOT A SCRATCH. The case is toast now – but that’s why I got it. Just ordered another $15 replacement case rather than a $300 GoPro. Would highly recommend.

A really snug fit but the lens is obstructed (see attached pictures). I’m using a Hero 7 Silver which only uses fisheye lens (wide-angle) so my videos and photos will always have black borders with the case on, which absolutely sucks. I should’ve realized it before buying the item but I think it’s worth mentioning that the touchscreen is also useless with the case on.

My daughter used this awesome piece of equipment on our family vacation to Santa Catalina Island. She was able to dive down to 98 feet and had no leaks whatsoever. It worked flawlessly and helped really deliver the protection needed at various depths from 25-90 feet. Definitely recommend.
