These containers are legendary. Great build quality. Solid. Keeps everything scalding hot well into the day. I bought 2. I found the small one a bit small for a main meal. I ended up buying the big and small size so that I can decide. Sometimes I bring both. The spoon in the lid is completely useless I found. Not sure if this is the size with it. But it’s way too flat to be used except for shoveling dry food! No biggie. I just threw mine away. I also never use the top lid which adds weight and is mostly useless as a cup. A spoon can reach fine into the main body of the thermos. Anyhow, I’m thoroughly impressed by this container. Definitely buy.

El diseño es muy bueno, ya que la cuchara se pliega y se guarda en la tapa. Conserva muy bien los alimentos, frio o caliente, muy práctico y fácil de lavar o limpiar. Para preparar sopas instantáneas de diez minutos, avena, arroz, etc… o llevar smotties u otros alimentos. Muy buena calidad, muy bien construido y diseñado. Para una ración individual y no calentar comida en microondas que es muy dañino. Un truco para que dure más tiempo caliente la comida es echarle primero agua caliente y taparlo unos dos minutos, luego vaciar el agua y echarle el alimento caliente. Para frío no he probado, pero se podría hacer algo similar. El producto que me llego traía una etiqueta de cartón que dice que conserva lo frío por 14 horas y lo caliente por 9 horas..

Este termo es especial si comes fuera de casa y llevas tu comida preparada. A mi me gusta por que en mi trabajo solo se puede utilizar horno de microondas para calentar la comida y ahora con este termo no es necesario calentar la comida, pues llega caliente y aprovecho mejor mi tiempo en la hora que me dan para comer. La calidad del producto es muy buena. Una recomendación que si te hago es que cuando lo uses tengas cuidado con no sobrepasar la capacidad del termo, pues si eso pasa no podrás cerrarlo bien y la comida si trae líquidos se puede derramar, de lo contrario si respetas la capacidad cella perfectamente.

I’ve been sending thermos in my kid’s lunchbox for years. It always came back almost full.. kid complained about food being too cold. That is until i bought THIS thermos. No more complaining.. I suppose food is hot enough (I never tried it myself). It comes back empty every time. My kid also loves the included foldable spoon, always uses it. What I like about this thermos is that there are two lids: one internal and the other that goes on the outside. So I feel safe that the thermos won’t spill even if I dont close the lids super tight. Would recommend for childs and adults.

Overview
I intended to just buy a few to replace the old beat up thermoses (different brand) that I was suing in my daughters lunch kits…but ended up buying 6 (when I saw the price difference was so minimal).
The difference in heat retention with these…over a slightly less expensive version is very noticeable. After 3 or 4 hours…soup is still hot enough to scald your mouth (so keep in mind)
The built-in spoon is the lid is also a nice touch. I’m sure the little one starts eating her lunch at school easier…so she can show her friends her cool spoon 😉
For some reason…the red ones seem to go on sale more frequently…so red it is!
Pros

Recommendation – Would buy it again and would highly recommend.

I bought these for my kids .No complain about the quality of these containers . My kids love it food stays hot for all day. I found the same container sold by superstores for $26 while I paid 33 its not a huge difference but for two containers I paid $ 14 more which is not fair ..

I did a test with boiling water. I added boiling water to the thermos and let it sit for 10 min to warm up. Then I added more water just off the boil (99C), sealed it up and left it on the counter overnight. 10 hours later it was at 68C. So if you can deal with that then you’re good to go. I use this often for soup…I like the integrated spoon actually..I have had no issues using it.

I upgraded to this Thermos for my kids’ lunches. Previously they had been using the Thermos Funtainer for three years, but they were finding that the Funtainer didn’t keep their food very hot any more even with pre-warming the thermos with hot water. I decided it was time to replace them so we bought these. They’re a great size for taking leftovers to school and my kids think the fold-up spoon is “super cool, like a Transformer.”
Going Forward ✌️ –
It’s a fantastic thermos. Around 6:30 am I put a piping hot macaroni and baked chicken pieces into the preheated thermos.
My kid had his lunch at 12:30 pm and the food was so hot he couldn’t touch it. When I opened the thermos around 16:30 the food was still warm! Warm on the level I could feel some steam coming out. The pliable spoon is very convenient.
So now I bought a second thermos for my other kid who starts school this year.
And another fun fact about the thermos – the younger kids are fighting who is going to finish the leftovers right from the thermos that my oldest boy bring home!
QUICK TIPS:
1) I’m using wide neck cunning funnel
Stainless Steel Canning Funnel
to fill up the thermos. In the morning rush it’s a life saver tool.
2) They say that it is top-rack dishwasher safe, yet I highly recommend hand-washing. The high temperature of drying may affect the insulation.
Here are some crucial SAFETY points to always keep in mind (user’s guide quoting):
=> Contents should not be left in the container for longer than 24 hours.
If contents are left in the container longer than 24 hours, or you suspect spoilage, use caution when opening the container.
Contents spoilage can cause pressure inside the container to build, possibly leading to the forceful ejection of the stopper or contents.
In such circumstances, before attempting to open the container, ensure the opening is pointed away from the user or other persons to avoid injury.
=> For maximum thermal efficiency, preheat or pre-chill the product just prior to use.
Fill with hot/cold tap water, attach lid, let stand 5 to 10 minutes and empty water.
After filling container with contents, re-cover with lid to increase thermal efficiency.
=> Do not use to store or carry carbonated drinks or dry ice

Estábamos muy preocupados porque los niños comen en la escuela y por pandemia no les calientan la comida, así que busqué diferentes opciones y vi que este era el mejor valorado. Honestamente no he probado otros para poder comparar, pero este es fabuloso! Si bien no dura tanto tiempo la comida caliente, les llega de una temperatura tibia y bastante comible. Estamos hablando de siete horas después. Son muy bonitos, se ven bastante resistentes y de buena calidad. Muy práctica la cuchara que trae integrada. Si acaso lo único que me gustaría es que la boca del termo fuera un poco más ancha para que entrara mejor comida más grande (tortitas de papá etc). Pero fuera de eso, todo genial! Super recomendables!

Read the instructions, as I did (but then neglected), it specifically says if you leave a hot item in the thermos for too long, and the lid is to difficult to untwist by hand, DO NOT TRY AND FORCE IT OPEN, AND TO THROW IT OUT!!!

I stupidly forgot about the soup I had in it for 2 days, tried to open the lid, couldn’t, so I got my jam jar lid tool, started untwisting it, and now I have a hole in my ceiling where the lid hit. Thank god I didn’t have my face near it

The Thermos Stainless king from Amazon is totally different from the Thermos I bought in Target (in-store). Thermos from Amazon is made from light cheap material and the plastic lid smells terrible. The label, also, different, it’s just taped to the jar. And, the weight of Thermos from Amazon is lighter (361 gr) than from Target (400 gr). I’m returning it because I think it’s fake. Cuando tienes que comer fuera de casa y deseas mantener tu sopa calientita (ya no tienes que calentar) con su cuchara portatil que la trae incluida es de lo mejor (se guarda dentro de la tapa interior), también puedes transportar helado sin riesgos, la manufactura es excelente, mantiene muy bien el frio o calor por el tiempo suficiente hasta que consumas el producto, recuerda no llenarlo al tope cuando son líquidos calientes y pueden derramarse además hacer un caos, Gracias.
