This screen is very effective at reducing splatter. It can handle being on even very hot pans, It is easy to clean in the dishwasher. Unlike metal mesh screens it does not rust after a few uses. The size is big enough for even my 33 cm frying pan. The only drawback is that the underside of the screen tends to get a fair amount of condensation build up. When you pick the screen up to turn your food, you need to be careful not to tilt the screen and let the condensation drip into the pan or onto your cooktop. Although it is more expensive than a metal mesh screen, it will last much longer and works better, so definitely recommended.

A lovely product, really works well until it melted. I think this is a great product but for me, does not work with a gas stove. The gas comes into contact with the screen if your pan is smaller than 13 inches. It is very durable but cannot sustain that. I can see this working well with an electric stove. Very easy to use otherwise.

What a joy to fry bacon without spoiling the stainless steel shine of the stovetop. This ergonomically designed screen is wide enough for large frying pans and has a nice balance in the hand. The silicon is so easy to clean its almost fun. To top it all off has a satisfying soft bounce. You’ll be playfully tapping it on your partner’s head all evening as they laugh along with you, sharing in the joy of perfectly cooked duck breasts and the absence of scars along your forearms from the spitting hot fat.

Brilliant! Enough holes to allow steam to escape so not make food soggy, but holds in most of the splatter. Easy to hold and the turn over feet are great. Well worth the money that I had thought expensive! Can go in the dishwasher too.

THIS bothered me. I read so many reviews to make sure that I purchased well. Sounded excellent….BUT, in fact, my grilled fish (salmon) oil splatter were not solved. The screen steamed my fish and splatter occurred anyway. SO DISAPPOINTING…especially because the screen started to melt as well…after ONLY 4 uses.
IN THE GARBAGE…waste of money. DO NOT BUY.

It is well worth paying a bit more for this splatter screen. It is easy to clean and does not rust like previous cheap ones. This is by far the best splatter screen I have bought and expect it to last a long time.

Like others l was a bit leery of the holes but after several uses I have found this to be superior to the wire screen type!!! I’ve been frying items on med-high heat (gas burners) in a heavy cast iron skillet one inch smaller diameter than the silicone shield with NO damage to the silicone….I kept careful watch the first few times fearful of it melting or catching fire, no issues. Good steam release with very little grease getting through, I highly recommend this product!!!

I ordered the large silicone splatter screen for my larger fry pans and it covers completely and it does work well. I also like the silicone better as the metal ones fall apart after awhile however, it is a very expensive item. I have looked at many other types online too and none of them are any cheaper. Received in good condition and quickly.

Delighted with quality. Fits every frying pan we have and will not rust. Old ones were made of steel , were presumably cheap but as they say you get what you pay for. Old ones now in recycling bin!

I’m a good cook, but I make a big splatter mess on my stove every damn day. This helps a lot and is really easy to clean. I saw reviews where people have melted them, if the pan is the right size for the burner and you don’t have the burner too high, that would be difficult to do, that said it is very thin and stretchy so anything is possible. I like mine and haven’t had any melting issues.

Perfect for frying anything especially if your like me or my daughter and scared of hot oil. No more body armour to cook fried chicken. Its also good for keeping the stove clean from the hot oil. All round great product

I really like it. Does the job nicely. I love how it’s just so easy to clean. No gross rusty mesh to deal with. However, when I first pulled it out of the packaging I was disappointed to find how fragile it felt. It feels like a very thin soft fabric that could easily rip. But after using it and washing it, I find that it’s pretty sturdy. You still need to be conscious of where you’re putting it though (for instance, don’t throw it in the sink or store it in the cupboards with other sharp things). Be mindful of how you’re using it and I’m sure it will last. When cleaning, I find I don’t even need a sponge. I just squirt some soap on it, clean it with my hand, rinse and it’s done. I also like that I can rest my utensils on it like a lid (the weight of the utensils won’t cause the fabric-like material to cave under the utensil’s weight because the silicone material is actually pulled very taught around the circle frame, which is great). Super effective, I highly recommend it!
