I am sure it is fine but it is the incorrect size. I wanted a mini USB but it turns out there are more than one type. This was the wrong one. This, in my opinion, was not made clear so I purchased it. This is slightly thicker and more square than the ‘normal’ Mini USB. Not worth sending back as it may be useful one day. Not that I have ever had anything that uses this so far. Who knew?

The right angle means it can be used more easily with an L bracket in portrait mode. The sides of the mini B are pretty smooth, and the right angle is rounded which means it’s not the easiest to remove unless good purchase is available all around the connection. Works well though.

Perfect. Works with my Transcend Car Dash Cam. Just the right length to go from the camera up across the windshield and tucked in to the A pillar of my golf. The cable then runs under the steering column and up to to the cigarette charger. Seems like good quality. Would buy again.

I wanted this for my car,
1 – so I could plug in my phone to be able to talk while driving, tested it (several tries) by having another person sitting in the car with me call me, and calls don’t come through at all
2 – so I could plug in the GPS device – this unit eliminates certain normal GPS unit features
… however, the unit does have its own radio, which cannot be over-ridden if you want to use the car’s radio.
