Worked perfectly to remove the weird buzzing noise I was getting from the line in on my pc when I connected my Switch to it.

Bought 2 of these for 2 different audio sources.

When using this with my GOXLR and my headphones, they cut the volume down a good 30%
The other one ended up CREATING a audible buzzing noise.

Can’t imagine they’re both defective as much as just not very good products.

Product worked perfectly. Was getting a lot of hum and buzz when I plugged in my computer or phone with headphone jack to my PA system. This worked as advertised. Didn’t remove all the unwanted noise but so much that the tiny bit left doesn’t really matter. When I want crystal clear, I use my audio interface with balanced lines.

I do not usually write reviews, but here I think it very necessary: this oroduct is terrible. Not only does it not do the job it was designed to do very well (you can still hear ground loop buzzing albeit more quietly) but the overall sound quality is massively reduced (e.g. no bass, imagine replacing the speakers in your car with crappy 1W laptop speakers).
    Instant return!

Works perfectly for my Nintendo switch to my PC. No more audio interference.

these work great especially for the price and convenience. However one of them separated the one side of the plug from the casing. Didn’t harm the operation of it just needed to re-glue or tape it back on.

Would be nice if they could be made slimmer but otherwise are a great solution for many inputs I have in my home studio and a must if your connecting phones or Bluetooth devices that can have open ground loops.

I bought this after having some static noise using a regular line-in cable from my docked switch to PC for mixed audio so I could use discord while playing multiplayer with friends. It’s worked out great so far and its easy to set up, just plug in and play and the noise went away. No issues so far and I would recommend to friends if they needed the same thing.

it does smooth the audio enough to make it more experiential in term of the natural sound variation of the human voice but, to be fair i was raised listening to a 1920’s gramophone which, trained my mind to filter audio mechanical abnormalities.

problem just occurred: it seems to have caused my audio to fail. Removed the device and the audio now works. am using it on an Rpi4B.

didn’t pay that much for it so it’s a minor loss.

Removes background buzzing and line noise perfectly. No audio sacrifice at all. Either in volume or quality.

The small cable on the other hand. That things at best temperamental. Depending on position, it suffers quality and volume and channel issues. Imo all negative reviews are from the cable itself. Just get a clean cable and Ur sorted.
Maybe heads up to the seller to look for a better cable option?

I got this to fix grounding issues with a docked Nintendo Switch, but the channels were reversed. Right was left and left was right.

I have a basic speaker set with two 3.5 mm inputs that emitted static whenever two devices were plugged in at the same time (currently my computer and an Echo). I suspected it might be a ground loop so I bought this and lo and behold, when it’s plugged between one of the devices and the speakers there’s no more static! Unfortunately, it seems to mess with the audio quality; specifically, I noticed that a lot of the bass sounds crunchy when I play through the device in which the isolator is plugged in. This isn’t the case when the device is plugged in normally.

I had a problem with capturing my computer sound into an analog mixer. I knew about these through some youtube and streamer knowledge, but when I went out to look for it locally, no one had it in stock. For what it does, I’m surprised they didn’t. Zero electrical sound now as I listen to music at loud volumes. I went ahead and bought multiple to cover all my devices just to avoid the pain of ground loop noise later.

It too me a while but I got it to work because I have dual sources.
I figured that it needed to be plugged at the source computer causing the noise, not the destination speakers.
