This product came much faster than promised and well packaged. Nothing was missing or damaged and the plastic case it comes with is perfect for keeping everything together in one place. I read all the reviews and the directions accompanying the product before using and paid particularly close attention to some of the problems others experienced. One particular problem concerning stripping and breaking off the screw on the bore accessory was remedied using the advice from a previous review instructing to work the screw in gently continually checking the fit and tightening the screw a small amount until it fits. I followed the directions and sufficiently lubricated the bore accessory as well as the base of the laser where it comes in contact with the barrel before insertion. You can use a gun lube or vaseline for this but don’t forget to properly clean and remove the remaining lubricant from the barrel after removal as to not leave any obstruction to bullet passage. You must take into consideration the laser is delicately constructed and the accessories are plastic therefore you must work cautiously when tightening the screw to attach them and when pushing the assembly into the bore. When finished with the sighting procedure use a cleaning rod to assist with the removal of the laser by entering from the breach (rear) end of the barrel (if possible) pushing it as you gently pull the laser from the front. If you take the proper time and care using this device you shouldn’t have any problems.
My first use was on a .22 cal rifle that I recently installed a scope on and the process was effectively completed in no time. Since I had the accessory already attached I went ahead and checked a 22 rifle that I hadn’t used in quite awhile that already had a scope installed. The laser confirmed the scope to still hold its zero. I look forward to continued use of this laser in the future. I believe this is an excellent product and affordably priced.

Ive heard good and bad things about universal bore sighters… I purchased this one based on the reviews and am extremely happy with it. Testing the laser, it is perfectly straight. My only complaint would be that I wish the generated dot was a true dot, where as its kind of a tiny line… but thats not enough of a problem for me to remove a Star. I highly recommend this product.

Description states it’s for .17 HMR, I found the laser to be way off. I was trying to sight this and I ended up maxing out on my Bushnell scopes upward pitch. So I removed the laser to find out, when I put it back in the laser moved the complete opposite direction. This bore was unreliable and each time it was used it gave me a different story. 0/10. Maybe this works better for higher calibers.

I wanted to like this and bought this particular one due to reviews and ratings but there seems to be a disconnect between ratings and product. Tried using it to align a laser sight on my 9mm handgun. Adapter 7 wouldnt fit, #6 fit but had to screw it down alot to get an adequate fit. However as you tighten down the screw the adapter becomes crooked which then throws off the sight. I noticed that once my laser was aligned to the Arcsight as I rotated the Arcsight in the barrel the lasers would separate. Then as I tried to remove the adapter to try another one, the screw started to strip and then the screw head broke off. I wouldnt recommend this product.
UPDATE: I was sent a replacement unit and the adapter worked better but the unit would not turn on. I think if you have time and patience to try and if its defective, return it, wait for replacement, etc and do this over and over again then this may be an option. Or buy a different unit altogether. I would NOT recommend this
FINAL UPDATE – After a shipping issue from Amazon NOT seller’s fault, I finally received a working unit that worked as described. Anchic from customer service did a great job helping me get this issue resovled. So I would say the customer service is excellent and they will do everything to get you a working product.

Ordered this bore sighter for my .177 pellet gun. I installed a battery and screwed on the adapter for my barrel size. It’s a nice tight fit with minimal play. It won’t get you dead on but it will tell you where your rounds are hitting so you can correct. Worked great.
Regarding their customer service, I initially thought my kit was missing the .177 adapter. So I asked the seller if he could send one and I sent him a pic of the adapters I had. I ended up finding the missing one but he was prepared to send a whole new bag of adapters. In fact he noticed I had a couple chewed up ones in my pic(my fault) and he said he had a couple kits that were not able to be sold and asked if I wanted them. I said yes and he shipped them out as promised. Not just the adapters mind you. Complete kits. I can only speak to this transaction but this seller appears to genuinely care about customer satisfaction. Amazon seems to specialize in crap products being sold by sellers who don’t give a crap once the sale is made. The exception is if you specifically search for a particular brand. This seller and product is also exceptional.

Well I got this. And came in a nice sturdy case for packing around to SIGHT IN THE RIFLE. THE GREEN BEAM IS BRIGHT AND CAME WITH 2 BATTERIES AND A MINI SCREW DRIVER. AND 12 SIGHT ADAPTERS DEPEND ON CALIBER. Ya Im gonna be a happy hunter. ONE SHOT 1 KILL.

The unit is well presented. Has everything you need to sight in your optics. Pretty much covers all your calibers from .22 to 12 gauge. I love how it comes in a nice case to keep it all organized. One of my adapters was missing. It was one that I needed the most. After contacting the vendor they promptly took care of me and sent me not one but two whole sets of adapters. I really appreciated that! i highly recommend this!
