Checked and double checked the measurements before ordering and it only JUST fits over my webcam without obstructing the lens. Would recommend installing it whilst you have your webcam turned on so you can see if the edge of the cover is going to obstruct the lens or not

Super idea, so discreet, does not effect the laptops shutting, I have added them to all x3 of our home laptops, you can stick them on either left or right depending where your webcam light is as mine differed between laptop brands, so easy to slide open and shut, I would highly recommend when installing these that you have your WebCam switched on and the image is viewable on your monitor as you are fitting it as it would be really annoying to stick it slightly in the wrong place and then always have a black edge visable when using your WebCam a bit fiddly to get them exactly straight but not impossible

This product was just what I was looking for when I needed something to cover my camera, and it does what it says on the box. It covers the camera when you want it to and slides to one side when you want to use the camera again.
However, I will say that it is a lot smaller than I imagined. The width is fantastic, really thin so it does not interfere when you close your laptop, but it’s tiny so if your laptop or phone has a larger camera, it might block the camera if it’s not placed correctly.
