It worked fine until it developed a slight kink and then it broke. The material quality isn’t the best but it was cheap. If you take a bit more caution than me it should be a good cable.

Garmin GPS use a USB cable to update Garmin maps. If you loose or misplace this cable, Garmin wants $40……yikes!. This cable does the job for a lot less. Don’t forget to label this one when you toss it into the cable drawer.

I bought the cord to replace me Blue Yeti Mic Cord. THIS CORD IS NOT COMPATIBLE!! It turns the Mic on but will not sync on my computer. it turns it on but you can’t use it to record from because my computer will not pick up the USB connection. Disappointed again.

I really like the AmazonBasics stuff. They’re cheap, no frills, but perform well.
This USB 2.0 cable, for instance, does exactly what an USB cable is supposed to do. Take digital data from 1 end to the other without overheating or catching on fire.
So far, no fires so would recommend for anyone who needs a USB 2.0 cable.

Time will tell how well this holds up, but it seems well put together and does the job.
This isn’t the absolute cheapest cable out there, but to be honest, mini-B cables are starting to get harder to come by since not too many new products are using the format anymore, so might as well get one to last and that suits your needs.

To be honest I dont why I bought this cable when I barely use it. I used it maybe twice, but that for me, for you maybe different story, I would say value for money yet, and the length of the cable is enough.

I recently bought a Dash Cam which once fitted worked well but I also got radio interference with the fitted car radio. When I discussed this with a car radio repairer, he suggested the radio problem was caused by an unshielded power lead from the car accessory socket to the camera. I bought this and changed the other lead out. Voila, instant improvement to the car radio, and as an aside, it appears to have improved in car mobile telephone reception too.

Great value for the price. I was expecting a little lesser quality because of the price point, but Amazon really surprised me! Nice little protruding logo on the USB-A side of the cord which I really liked as well. Read/write speeds are pretty normal, not amazing by any means, but it gets the job done!

Does the job. People pay more for interconnects either for the quality of the wire between the connectors, or for the quality of the connectors themselves. Since I bought this for a satnav, the former consideration is irrelevant, but for the quality of connectors, these are average, and not the nice firm grip you usually get from more expensive alternatives. It wouldn’t normally matter, but the cable to my satnav goes in at the bottom, so gravity is working against me. Don’t get me wrong, the cable stays in place, but it doesn’t take much effort to pull it free, annoying if you catch the cable accidentally. But for most applications I’m sure this cable will be just fine.

My wife mislaid the USB charging lead for her Philips Toothbrush
Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Electric Toothbrush – Pink
This was ordered from Amazon and arrived next day and immediately used to recharge the toothbrush in its case. “Why did you not just use the glass charger that came with the toothbrush” I here you cry, Well the day before I had accidentally knocked it over and it smashed to the floor, At under £5 the lead was £ 20 cheaper to replace than the glass. Thank you Amazon and 5 stars

I will admit, when I ordered this cable I did not look at the specifications for some reason. That aside, I was moderately surprised at how short this cable was. It looks a bit bigger than the 3ft that is on it, however it gets the job done. I’m currently using it for a microphone that is on an arm that goes in front of my face. The short cable means that I cannot type on my keyboard without getting caught up in it every so often. I would recommend checking how big the cable is before you buy it and seeing what you need. Great product though.

I didn’t do much shopping around for this cable as my old WD hard drive is so old I didn’t think I’d need to worry about data speeds of cables. It arrived it does the job I needed it for. Not sure about value for money as like I said I didn’t shop around but it’s Amazon basics so it’s probably very cheap in comparison to most! As for durability and sturdiness, well we will see in a few weeks/months/years. Thanks.

It’s nice and thick. Obviously much better than what you’d get at a dollar store or even WalMart. It’s a USB cable and I don’t plan on taking it on safari so I’m really not worried about the durability. Connects fine to charge a camera and a PS3 controller. If you’re worried about the durability or are going to put your cables through a lot of stress buy a braided one I guess? This works just fine for every day household use. Good price.
