I am very pleased with my charger! Pros : It’s small and not to heavy (about the size of a deck of cards), It can charges my i-phone 5 fully about 3 times. Cons : It doesn’t come with the lightening to USB cable to connect it to your phone (which still makes sense cause not everybody has the same phone), it charges fairly slowly (both to charge the phone and to re-charge the charger) I’m happy with it even considering the cons as I usually leave it in my purse with my phone plugged on it when needed and re-charge it over night.

Anker external batteries are awesome. This one is about the size of a credit card and honestly not that heavy. You can get 3.5 charges with your iphone 6s, 7, 8, 5. Probably less for plus models. Takes quite abit of time to charge though maybe 5-6 hrs. Anker also has awesome warranty so if there’s anything wrong within the first 18 months of purchasing it they will definitely help you out or replace it. The bag that it comes with is nice so its protected, whether its in ur bag rolling around or if you want to hold onto something softer than the slippery smooth plastic material its made of. This one is a good smaller alternative to their larger powercore batteries. Probably won’t be able to charge your ipad fully though…

I bought 2x Anker PowerCore 10000s because I like the small form factor in a 10,000 MAH portable charger footprint. Both arrived with 25% residual charge. The PowerCore charged to 100% in about 6 hours with a 2.4A adapter. I got about about a 90% charge on my 10,000 mAh PowerCore for my iPad Air which has a 8827 mAh battery.
All in all I’m happy with my PowerCores and would recommend this to others.
***Side note: In addition to my yearly Amazon.ca Prime membership I discovered credit charges for monthly Amazon Prime Membership (amzn.com/prme) for $17.29, $14.23, and $14.15 respectively on my credit card over the course of the last few months. Somehow I was paying for a monthly Amazon Prime account on the US side even-though I didn’t sign up for it. I could have been paying this monthly charge indefinitely if not for being diligent. Needless to say be on the lookout least this happens to you.

I sent a message to Anker and they shipped another charger. Their customer service was pretty good I’m checking in with me. My sister had the charger with her in the US. Anker ship the charger free of charge to her.
Received this charger on August 4th (it’s been just over a month). First the 3rd led blew out 20 days in and now the charger will not hold charge. I’m very careful with my electronics and have never dropped it.

Pretty good but 1 thing I didnt love is that I learned whiel very reliable, I returned it and went with another battery instead as they less prone to explosions for travel! (again both will prbbaly be fine but it did happen at airport in my city on news) “Lithium ion batteries – Better know as Li-ion batteries. These batteries are well known for their high energy densities (more power can be stored), they are cheap e when compared to Lithium Polymer battery. Lithium ion batteries lack the memory effect (when batteries become harder to change over time), suffers ageing when not in use. Li-ion batteries also have a history of explosions.” Li-Polymers batteries- Commonly knows as Li Po batteries. These batteries are generally robust and flexible, especially when it comes to the size and shape of their build. They are also lightweight, have an extremely low profile, and have a lower chance of suffering from leaking. On the other hand, when compared to Li-ion batteries, Li-Po batteries are more costly to the manufacturer and they have lower energy densities( lesser amount of power can be stored).
Now in terms of power banks, both Lithium ion and Lithium-polymer power banks have their Pros and Cons. Lithium-Polymer power banks can be considered safe and lightweight, but at they same time they are expensive and have a lower capacity. However, Li- ion power banks are of low cost and they a higher capacity but, they are prone to explosions and they start as the time passes.
The better power bank can only be determined by your choice.

They Are Playing Pretty Smart Over This, Product When Received Appeared Quite Authentic, Build Quality Was Nice Too. But On Close Observation, I Found Something Which All Of Us Maybe Missing.
As You Closely Look at The Box In Which It Is Packed, Where “AMERICA’S LEADING USB CHARGING BRAND” Was To Be Written “Instead It Had “AMRICO’S LEADING USB CHARGING BRAND”.
I Was Shocked, I Called Anker US Call Center, And Gave Them My Amazon Order ID To Know About Weither Atleast It Is Covered By Warranty. So That, If Anything Goes Wrong I Can Atleast Claim It. But No, Anker Said They Cannot Find My Order ID Linked To Their System.
I Mailed Anker With Photos Of Product And No Surprise Reply Was, The Peoduct I Received Is Fake & Needs Attention.
I Contacted Amazon, I Got Such a Poor Response, I Promised Of Being Contacted By Seller. Instead A Replacement Was Suggested.
I Don’t Weither A Replacement Will be Genuine Or Not But I Will Surely Go Through Anker Again. Please, Don’t Be Fooled These Portals Now Started Monoplising.

update… after only a few days Anker contacted me about my problem with my Anker power bank 10.000 mAh and offered me a full refund for the defective item with was more that great. l also told them l was interested in the 20.000 mAh version so they offered me a 20% discount on my new order . What a great day and great costumer service .

First of all ANKER is a very prestigious company and has a highly sophisticated range of products. I bought the power bank for my samsung galaxy note 5, assuming that the power bank will support fast charging in it. But as i used it i came to know that it does not support fast charging although it does support comparatively faster flow of charge for old phone models or the one which do not need a adaptive fast charger (flash charger). So according to my perception it it a great power bank for people who have phones with regular charging systems, but not worthwhile for those who have fast charging mechanism. Because it would only supoort regular charging which will take probably double the time to charge.

I ordered 2 of these little Anker Power Core 10000 chargers back in 2017. One for myself, loved it and then purchased one for a Christmas gift. They have been working wonderfully from the start until last week. The one I had gifted to my daughter ceased to charge any of her phones, tablets, etc. I wrote to Anker and told them I had purchased this back in October 2017 as a gift for my daughter and now it’s not charging anything. Anker wrote back immediately and said they have an 18 month warranty and would be more than happy to help my daughter. They asked only if we would try one thing before returning and that was to try using a different electrical outlet from the one we had been using. We did, and as embarrassing as it is, the outlet my daughter was using turned out to be faulty. Immediately upon using a different outlet this little gem of a charger went right back to its original performance and charged up phones, tablets, etc!! The thing that most impressed me was Ankers customer support and warranty guarantee. They were immediately on board to replace the defective charger within the 18 month warranty and the response to my complaint was immediate and kind. I’m a huge believer in good customer service and Anker was good to their word. I would recommend this product and this company without any hesitation!

The battery pack would not fully charge. I tried using it and it only gave my phone 1.5 charges, it should have been over 4 charges. I tried to charge it again and it would only charge a quarter of the way after 24 hrs. I got a lemon and returned it.
