Dropped my phone once and cracked the corner so I got this case to protect it from any future drops.
This case is great if you don’t want something too bulky but still provides some corner protection.
Fit is very good and the cut outs match well. You can leave the phone flat on the front or back and it wont scratch. I like the slight rubber feel of the case. Nice minimalist case. Happy with this purchase.

Fits the iphone SE 2020 perfectly! Very pleased with this style & my wife is happy with her Spigen style too!
Like previous Spigen cases I’ve used for other phones, this TPU case is slim while providing good shock absorbtion, can be peeled back to hide a single card, & provides the needed traction to prevent one from dropping this easy-to-drop-without-a-case phone.

The case itself is great quality however I have noticed a few things that have caused quite a bit of an annoyance. The back of my iPhone gets imprinted with the case’s design and it caused markings that have become non-removable. It has also caused random spots on the back of my iPhone 7 to lose its coating causing irreversible damage. As well, the hole that allows the lightning cable to enter and plug in the phone is sharp around the edges and causes blisters on my pinky finger due to the way I hold it.

Recently bought an iphone 8 and wanted a case to protect it. I searched and searched for one and couldn’t find one. I finally came past this one as recommendation and looked at the reviews and seemed positive so i decided to purchase it. When i received it i slipped it on the phone and noticed that the case is still as slippery as the phone which i didn’t like. I wanted a case were i could grasp the phone without slipping out my hand. I used it for about a week and a half and kept slipping out of my hand when trying to use it and dropping on the floor. After several drop the screen eventually had a crack in the corner of it. I just knew the case had to go before the crack gets bigger, it took the case off and threw it in my drawer and that is where it has been ever sense. I went and bought a better case which i can actually hold in my hand. If you looking for a case that is purely for looks then this is the case but if your looking for a case for function and particularity then look elsewhere unless you want to have a broken screen.
*The case i am using now where is stronger and durable, i have dropped it a few times slipping out my pocket on the screen and the side which has completely held up so i just know it is the case and not the user* But that is purely my view and ultimately up to yours on to whether you purchase this or not.

I’ve been using this case for a few weeks now and have about no complaints. It’s doing what it is intended to do and looks great while doing it. The fit to the phone is about 99% complete. It’s got a small tiny smidge of room to take the device out and in which is super handy. It’s still a tight fit and you should not need to worry about it falling off.
I’ve used this with a small metal plate from a Scosche car magnet holder kit and it only raises the back of the phone by a smidge. Nothing too awkward looking, and actually helps in lifting the phone off a hard surface.
When nothing is in the back of the phone between the case and the phone, it’s flat as can be and feels great. As well, when in the case and lying on its face, it’s lifted a bit off the ground as to protect the screen a little.
All in all, a great case and is super stylish. I would recommend it to anyone to purchase for a slim case.

I had a great experienced with Spigen Thin case and my iPhone 6 – perfectly fit my expectations which were: small profile to go nicely into my pocket and a good grip. So once I got new iPhone 7 I thought I would go with Spigen again. This time though I picked Liquid Air Armor version since it seemed to provide a bit extra thickness and protection around the edges (wraps around the edges nicely adding extra gap, protecting screen from getting scratched by surfaces on which it rests facing down). After few months of use I am quite disappointed…..From the beginning I noticed that the grip is not the same. Yes, case is a bit thicker but no real grip – very slippery versus thin version. The side buttons get easily activated when handling the phone, especially when pulling out of a pocket – they stick out. Thin case version had them not protruding above itself. And the last thing which I just noticed after few months of use – the edges are very easily pulling of the phone. Probably expansion of material, even though it is not a hot summer at all where I live so it is not due to the outside temperature. So……just placed an order for a thin version hoping that all materials and specs remained the same as they were on my iPhone 6 ( other than small differences due to phones being different )

I bought this case thinking on protection. So far Spigen had always fulfilled my expectations, however not this time.
The case is very flimsy, extremely thin and quite slippery. The protection absolutely minimal, so that that it would not save my phone from any kind of drop. It is so thin that the so called “air cushion technology” is almost inexistent, absolutely nothing in comparison to other Spigen cases.
The diagram that shows how the camera and the screen are protected is does not reflect reality. It is actually the same diagram used in all the other Spigen products. Therefore, in the case of the Liquid Air, the screen and camera protection are absolutely minimal, and they are almost flash with the case.
Finally, the case is quite slippery. You might find it useful if you keep it in your trousers pocket and hate the sticky feeling of silicon, however if you keep it in your shirt pocket like my dad, it would slip out at any movement.
Even though I still give it 3 stars as the price of 7.99 is quite good for what you get and definitely great if you are looking for a slim, not intrusive and branded case.

I purchased this case a year ago and within 6 months the case had imprinted itself on the back of my iPhone 7 causing extensive scratching and damage. My iPhone will be worthless. It would have looked less damaged had I not had a case on at all.
I have used protective cases in the past which have done the job and actually protected the phone!
I will be contacting Spigen and Amazon to report this but not holding out much hope as others have said they have had no joy.

I had ordered this case when I got my iPhone 8 back in January 2018. It has been almost two years with this case and it certainly has not seen an easy life. I worked at a automotive repair shop for a year straight and was using my phone as a flashlight or a tool to look things up and it got covered in grease and sparks and was dropped around thirty times. This case has protected my phone through all of that. My climate sees temperature changes of 40 degrees Celsius every season and the material used for this case is still durable and tight. No issues with the case expanding causing gaps to appear or make the phone feel loose in the case. The iPhone 8 has a glass back and under a detailing light there are no swirls or scratches from the case. Absolutely amazing product and I would buy it again if I get a new phone.

Well made, high quality black polyurethane with textured finish that is not overly chunky and does not detract from the slim lines of your phone handset.
This is a nice a lightweight case from Spigen that offers good protection to the rear, edges and to some degree the front glass surfaces of a modern phone handset.
The rear of the case is textured black PU, giving the case a good grip on your hand to help prevent the phone sliding out of your grip. Buttons are raised at the sides and the thin design of the case means even the Silence rocker isn’t too fiddly to switch on or off, even if you dont have long nails, the charger port is similarly not obscured or covered meaning there should be no issues using original or 3rd party cables.
The front edge of the case is raised a few mm around the glass of the scree – not a huge amount that you would notice it, but enoug that even if the phone is resting face-down o nte surface, it should help prevent the screen get cracked or suffer an impact during a drop.
As the case is a thin design and not overly chunky, i would not expect this case to protect the device entirely in a long-distance fall. but from bumps and scrapes it should be more than adequate.
The case is well made with a high degree of manufacture – there are no blemishes on the finish, and no tailings or casting/molding marks on any of the edges from the manufacture process.

Looks and feels great. Does not make it bulky and feels like it offers a great deal of protection. One really big downside is that the case does not offer protection to the back of the phone. Where the grooves are in the pattern dirt has managed to create lots of small chips out of the casing and ruined my phone!!!
I don’t use it on beaches etc it’s just on my table or in my pocket usually and cleaned frequently but nothing Seems to stop it getting worse

Only 6 months on from buying this case and the back of my phone looks about 5 years old. The case is not designed well and dust/grit easily gets inbetween the phone and the case and causes lots of irremovable marks on the back on your lovely new phone. I bought this case to protect it not slowly erode it! Please don’t fall for people saying it’s great as ofcourse it looks good and fits well when it arrives, but in the long run it’s useless.
