I could not use it. When I purchased the tom tom it said it came with a magnetic mount which would not be suitable for fitting to a dashboard. I therefore ordered the other fitting. They came together. Both mounts were identical – neither would fit on the dashboard! I need a dashboard fitting as my dashboard is too steep to both practically use it and touch it. I can return the second mount and wait to receive the dashboard mount referred to. Please let me know who to contact – amazon or tom tom? It is a pity as I think the actual tom tom is an excellent product but cannot use it in any practical way. Please help. Thank you very much. Derek Crossan

I lost the mount for my Go 620, how and where, no idea!
Purchased this as a replacement. All inclusive of cable and power adaptor. These magnetic mounts have to be one of the better methods TomTom have used. Device sits firmly and connects properly. The suction system is excellent too. I’ve never experienced the mount and satnav falling of the window.
The ball and socket is tight and maintains the device in position even on the roughest of road surfaces.

Bought this as my original one had stopped working. It’s genuine so no problems at all and now my sat nav works as it should. I bought a spare too as I’m out on the road a lot and wanted a back up.

Making life so much easier, the original one that came with the Nav was faulty, but now I can power my Nav from anywhere I choose to put the unit in the front screen, in the centre so the passenger and driver can see it or in front of the driver so it can be seen through the steering wheel. Loving the flexibility.

Not great that I had to buy whole kit when only original mount stopped charging, suspected broken connection due to accidental rough handling. Get a better suction on the windscreen and a spare charging lead and in-car charger though, problem fixed so overall a good result
