Este es un review que tenia muchas ganas de hacer y poder compartir mi experiencia para ayudarte a tomar la decisión correcta.
Yo pasé 3 meses viendo diferentes opciones con la idea de comprar unos audífonos que pudiera utilizar con mi PS4, al final compre este modelo basado en los comentarios tanto en Youtube como en diferentes paginas de internet pero desgraciadamente nadie te dice la realidad de las especificaciones y como éstas pueden afectar el desempeño de los dispositivos
Todo mundo habla de los ohms, pero en realidad NO sabemos a que se refieren, cosa que tuve que investigar y aprender una vez después de haberlos recibido y dándome cuenta que mis audífonos de 20 dólares suenan mucho más fuerte que estos de 100 dólares.
A qué se debe esto?
Pues básicamente y de manera sencilla es que todos los audífonos tienen diferentes rangos de potencia basados en ohms, los audífonos que tienen un rango entre 8 y hasta 35 ohms van a poder funcionar con cualquier dispositivo ya que no necesitan mucha energía para que funcionen correctamente, ahora bien cuando tienes audífonos con un rango superior a los 35 ohms vas a necesitar una fuente alterna de energía (amplificador) para poder sacar todo su poder.
Estos audífonos tienen 65 ohms, es por eso que conectados a un celular, tableta o control de PS4 NO reciben la energía necesaria para que puedan desarrollar todo su potencial (básicamente es como si tuvieras un auto de 8 cilindros en donde solo trabajan 4) para que puedan brindar todo su poder los debes de conectar a una fuente de energía alterna (amplificador) el cual les dará la energía necesaria para que los puedas aprovechar al máximo.
Yo compre un amplificador portátil en Amazon, el cual puedo conectar a mi celular, tableta y control de PS4 y la experiencia es impresionante…
Con el amplificador el único problema es que con el control de PS4 NO funciona el micrófono para poder hablar con mis amigos.
Una vez conectados a un amplificador el sonido es bastante potente con unos bajos muy marcados gracias a su doble cámara en donde se aísla el bajo para que tengan una potencia mayor, los otros rangos también están presentes y no son apocados.
Son muy cómodos gracias a sus almohadillas de piel sintética, el único detalle es que el ajuste de la diadema está muy suave y fácilmente se desajustan.
Si lo que estas buscando es para uso con tu celular o tableta, te recomiendo que compres audífonos que estén entre los 8 a 35 ohms, estos te van a decepcionar a no ser que compres un amplificador portátil.
Los materiales de construcción son de primera calidad y estéticamente son muy bonitos.

Only downfall is the mic, which is NOT bad. The mic just seems to pick up more omnidirectional sound than my previous mic (modmic 4.0). In voice calls the #1 comment I get is it sounds “cheap”. With some tweaking it’s fine but would be nice if it was better at being a unidirectional mic.
I really like that I no longer have 2 cables (1 for modmic, 1 for headphones), but it’s very convenient that the extension offers a split. I have the extension with the split end going into the back of my pc and routed under the desk to right below where my mouse is. This allows me to quickly disconnect the headset from the extension while in my seat and plug it into my phone to answer calls if I prefer to keep my hands free and quickly reconnect it to the extension after.
Detachable mic is nice to have, when I’m busy with work I don’t use the mic often so I just detach it and put it away till I need it again.
The mute switch and volume control is good, I think the mute switch is better than the one on the modmic 4.0. Quick and easy to feel for. Might not be a concern for others but the modmic 4.0 had a small mute switch which made it a bit difficult to find as quickly as these.
Audio quality is good, I have Sennheiser’s HD 4.40 BT and an aging HD 449 to compare with. I think the Cloud Alpha does a good job of keeping the entire spectrum clear at any volume while providing good quality and sound stage for a closed design.

J’ai pris ce casque en remplacement d’un bon vieux Siberia v2 et je possède aussi un Cougar Immersa.
À comparer à mes 2 autres casques (tous des stéréos) :
– au niveau confort : c’est aussi bien, bonne tenue sur la tête, ne me fais pas mal aux oreilles.
– au niveau son : légèrement moins bon (à mon avis) que le Siberia (mais meilleur que le Cougar). Je le trouve moins polyvalent pour de la musique par exemple. Mais cela reste très bien quand même.
– au niveau micro : probablement le meilleur des 3 selon le retour de mes amis sur Discord.
Ceci dit, il a d’autres avantages : un câble audio remplaçable par exemple. Je l’ai pris en version reconditionnée (Open Box) donc un peu moins cher. À ce tarif, j’en suis très satisfait.

Excelente headset! Leve, confortável, com áudio incrível e ótimo acabamento! Para usar no PS4, é altamente recomendável comprar também a placa de som da HyperX (liga no USB do console). Ligando direto no controle, o som pode ficar falhando, pois o Dualshock 4 não tem força suficiente pra suportar o headset.

Mis respetos para HyperX, quienes entregan una calidad mejor a la esperada por el cliente (debido al precio), se siente que tengo un producto el doble de caro. Son mis primeros audífonos para gaming y ya los amo, los utilizo en Xbox one y en PC para jugar pubg, me gustan mucho los juegos FPS y la verdad es que se incrementa bastante la experiencia de juego, nunca pensé necesitarlos tanto. Los recomiendo sin duda.
Actualización después de 10 meses de uso:
El único pero que les pongo ( y es un detalle muy importante que pasaron por alto los diseñadores) es que no tienen almohadilla dentro de los auriculares, por lo que tú oreja está en contacto directo con el metal de la bocina, a las 2 – 3 horas te empiezan a doler las orejas y tienes que descansar, lástima que se les haya escapado ese detalle, lo noté desde un inicio pero pensé que era normal y que me acostumbraría ya que son mis primeros audífonos.

I usually spend $300+ on a good headset. I use them a lot and want great quality. But they only ever seem to last a couple of years before they die on me.
I got sick of spending that much and decided to look for a more reasonably priced gaming set. I had tried some Senn’s a while ago and wasn’t overly impressed with them. They were uncomfortable and the sounds was just okay.
I took a chance on these HyperX Cloud Alpha Pro’s as I had never owned a Kingston accessory before. I read nothing but positive reviews beforehand.
Oh. My. God. These things are very very good for a stereo headset. The bass is the best I’ve ever heard on a gaming headset. The aluminum frame is very aesthetic. There is no useless RGB crap inflating the price. It uses a 3.5mm jack so I can use my own amp (with a very long cord); this means no bloatware to install for them either. They are very light and comfortable. They cup my ears perfectly and I’ve worn them for 3hrs straight without really noticing them.
Drawbacks: Mic looks cheesy, but I don’t have to look at it. Mic doesn’t sound particularly wonderful, but I don’t have to listen to myself. My voice chat friends said it just sounded okay.
This is probably my 10th or so gaming headset and by far the most impressive… even compared to way more expensive ones by top brand names.

Heard some people complain about how heavy they are; however I’ve had no issues with the ear pads and think they’re super comfy and actually the extra weight makes them more enclosed on my ears. Sound quality is amazing especially the bass and surround sound. The metal frame of the headphones are great quality and really make these stand out from other brands. The mic is absolutely amazing for the price compared to other headset mic’s I’ve tried before.

Son los segundos audífonos para gaming que adquiero, los primeros fueron uno gold headset de sony, y debo decir que los HyperX Cloud Alpha son excepcionales en comparación aparte de ser mucho mas durables por su estructura de alumnio, el sonido es claro y nítido, donde al jugar podemos escuchar claramente donde provienen los sonidos, los probe con Forza 7 y con Doom, en Forza el audio te ayuda a envolverte mas en la experiencia de conducción, ya que puedes como dije, escuchar la fuente del sonido, por ejemplo al poner la cámara de la perspectiva del conductor, claramente puedes escuchar como el sonido de frenado y derrape de las llantas provienen de abajo, como si realmente estuvieras manejando dentro de un automóvil de carreras, en Doom que puedo decir, simplemente el sonido de la atmósfera te hace mas sentir la emoción al jugar, y mas cuando acabas con los demonios con los rugidos de tus armas.
Los audífonos aíslan muy bien el ruido exterior, para que nada te saque de la inmersión de tus juegos, y uno de los puntos mas fuertes, es que son super cómodos, con lo cual puedes jugar horas y horas sin que te cansen o te lastimen las orejas como otras que hay en el mercado de menor calidad. Ahora hablando del micrófono también es bueno, es claro, evita que tus amigos escuchen ruidos, cumple con su cometido a esa hora de hacer las salas de juego y platicar y divertirte con tus amigos, ademas que es removible lo cual los hace muy prácticos.
Son unos audífonos geniales que no puedo mas que recomendarlos totalmente, por su calidad, por su precio, los convierten en una compra de la cual no te arrepentirás. Les dejo un vídeo y unas fotos que realice de los audífonos para que las puedan apreciar.

Overall Fantasic but End Up Returned
Product Impression:
– Good materials & build especially for this price point
– Great sound especially for gaming headset at this range, surprisingly decent for music as well
– Earpads are comfortable even for someone with glasses
– Mic is clear but just slightly on the quieter end even after adjustment
– Headphone bag is always a lovely perk
Crosstalk Problem & Fix:
Sound bled from one app into another – eg. music from your pc can bleed into a conversation on Discord. Spent way more time than I wanted on trying to resolve this. Found on forums that you can work around by enabling “Acoustic Echo Cancellation”
Broke Up & Return
– Not working out for me because I’m used to music headphones and this is just tad bit too heavy
– I thought I have a big head, but I still don’t really have to extend the headband
– When I turn side to side or nod, the headphones slide around way more than it should.
Conclusion
Pretty fantastic for what it can offer, would love to keep but alas it’s compatible with me

If you do not have an amp or can’t afford to buy one with these, get the Cloud IIs with the soundcard because these without an amplifier sound very muffled and BAD.
Now, if you do get an amp or are on a tight budget, I recommend the 60$ syba usb 2.0 DAC, it really brings these headphones to life and if you can afford a better amp go for it. With an amp I can literally located footsteps of invisible glitched enemies in fortnite playgrounds and shoot them, it makes that much of a difference. Music also sounds amazing through these, but like I said, you absolutely need the amplifier.
Also, wish it came in other colors… like silver black, but oh well, not a big deal.

These are amazing headphones with only two real drawbacks. They do sound great and worked easily on every platform I tried them on. My only problems were the mute and volume control is in a very awkward place. They also felt great but after long hours they did make my ears hurt but I think that’s because of my larger ears. For the price I honestly don’t think you can get a better pair of headphones that are universal, come with a detachable and replacable mic. Do make sure the 3.5mm jack is pushed in all the way though as no grey should be showing when properly put in, lots of people post about it not working and that’s the fix.
