Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

Best quality in the price range. I tried another highly rated portable projector which was 100 dollars lesser than this one, I was not happy. It is worth the money. It was bright even in a well lit room

Very disappointed – a complete waste of money. First of all, the instructions tell you to download an app, but the app doesn’t exist. The Apple play/mirroring does not work, it crashes or just shows you your phone’s Home screen, and it will not stream any content from your iTunes or android library, even if you connect using the HDMI cable. If you try to play anything from Netflix, you get audio with a completely blank screen. This happens with Apple devices and with android phones. Bluetooth, HDMI and screen mirroring are all useless if you are trying to view movies.

A complete waste of money. I have asked for a refund.

Picture is ok and little integrated speaker is descend.
Kodak App is impossible to use and keeps crashing.
    Amazon tv app doesn’t work.
Netflix app works fine, but controller is so crap it doesnt let you to scroll left or right, just up and down.
Doesn’t let you to sign in to youtube.
Cant turn it on with controller just manually so it always has to be reachable.
After one week little fan inside goes crazy loud sometimes and requires to restart projector couple of times to go quietly again.

I just bought a used but like new Kodak mini Projector. It isnt working at all, tried with right mobile adaptor and constant power charge. Mobile phone with same plugs and adaptor works instant on monitor and tv. I contact Kodak technical support and Supplier. Send mini projector to broken computer department and hope to get reumburesd soon. Thank you for all the help i received.

It seems that Kodak is just a brand thats slapped onto anything at this point. This projector feels sturdy but that doesn’t make up for the shoddy colours on the projector. Even at 480p I would have expected better colours and refresh rates at least. Pixels flicker, blacks are too grey (even for a projector), and the downscaling from higher resolution content looks odd.

The projector came with dents on the projectors plastic housing, a large scratch on the metal bottom of the device, and the box smashed. Thankful for the Amazon return policy on this one.

L’autonomie du bidule ne permet pas de visionner un film au complet. Ça prend de l’énergie en back up.

Speaker not loud enough and limited video capacity. Not as useful as I thought it would have been.

The above image was taken using the projector appx 1.5 m away via a USB flash drive. You can get excellent images or film from at least 4m distance from the projector, of the same quality as the above. It is an absolute splendid piece of kit.

I travel around a lot for work and whilst out and about i end up in a lot hotel rooms where the choice of TV is minimal, until now i’ve ended up streaming Netflix on my laptop of phone which really isn’t the best, nor is it the most comfortable of viewing angles usually. After finding this i can now hook it up to my work laptop and project the image directly onto the ceiling of the hotel room by just propping it on a chair, lying in bed with this thing going is so much better than a little laptop screen. Image is not the crispest you’ll get but it still nice and clear enough to watch a decent film as long as you keep the room dark which isn’t usually a problem. It’s also absolutely tiny so i’ll be able to pop it into my hand luggage for air travel too.

I was expecting way more based on the specifications

    1. receiving the image via wifi basically does not work, the image gets freeze every single second when you’re lucky and the devices are paired, I’ve tried from my phone, tablet, and laptop, none of them worked
    2. the browser is absolute trash, I’ve installed another one, but same thing, it gets freeze all the time
    3. the battery does not last more than 1 hour

So, in summary, if you want to watch something is streaming live in the browser, you will need to connect your laptop and send the image via HDMI, no way to do so using an app in the device (I assume is very short of RAM)

I think I’ll return it because it’s too expensive for the job it does, if you always need to connect your laptop to use it, there are some other projectors way cheaper in the market for that function

KODAK kodak kodak…. I thought I was buying a quality piece of equipment from a former giant in the visual industry.

… What were you guys thinking??? You designed a lemon. The processor in your snazzy portable projector isn’t powerful enough to properly handle the playback of movies without some serious lag issues. How do I know this? Because the ONLY WAY you can avoid lag is if you connect an HDMI connector and play directly from the that, which uses almost no processor power.

If you try to stream using the Internet (with a router connected directly to a fiber optic line (1 gigabit symmetric connection) that sits mere FEET away from the projector), it LAGS. No joke!! IT LAGS!! And it LAGS BAD!!

If you try to load a video using the USB stick, IT LAGS. So it’s not the network since USB2.0 is faster than WiFi. BUT IT LAGS playing back using USB!! So that means the problem is not the network, or the USB, but the processor trying to read the data off of the USB!!

If you try to connect via Bluetooth, IT LAGS.

EVERY WAY WE TRIED caused serious LAG issues EXCEPT if we connected it directly to HDMI. And the reason it works with HDMI is because the laptop or computer processor does all the work and just sends the video signal directly to the Kodak projector, so the Kodak projector’s processor is not involved in HDMI connections.

I’m a hardware design engineer, so I understand completely how this works.

What amazes me most is that KODAK, a GIANT (once) amongst the visual industry, designed a LEMON!! Where was their quality control??? It takes a 10 year old less than 5 minutes to realize this doesn’t work very well. Certainly not well enough to satisfy even a 10 year old. How could the monkeys at KODAK not test this before they released it??? Seriously KODAK… SERIOUSLY!!!

KODAK… you used to make fantastic film. How on earth are you going to recover a quality name by putting out a hardware device that doesn’t SURPASS expectations, like your film used to do??? This hardware you have developed is useless. It has EVERYTHING you might want, except that it CAN’T PROJECT A VIDEO WITHOUT LAGGING!!

Whoever designed this device needs to be fired. Whoever quality controlled this should also be fired. And you might as well fire every other manager who managed to hire those people, because their skills in designing a quality device that should match your company’s name are SUB-PAR. I could buy a knockoff piece of Chinese junk that performs better than this!! Come on KODAK… this is horrible!! You had a shot at making something great. The android operating system is fantastic! The connectivity is great! But the sucker is so damn slow playing back videos, it’s painful to watch anything with it. I’m astounded a company as mature as KODAK messed this up so badly. I’m VERY disappointed and will forever question purchasing anything with the KODAK name because of this.

This thing should be priced closer to $50, not the three digit value they pretend it’s worth.
