Blue LED’s are poorly placed and make it hard to tell which one is off if the rest are on. The lights are not a consistent blue glow like in all the product’s advertising, that was photo editing. You can even see the “cherry” of the LED’s through one side of the buttons which looks ugly. I bought this because of the lights and how cute and tiny it is but their advertising is a little misleading in this area. Other than that, I’m using it as I type right now and it seems to be working fine. I added pics showing how off center the led’s are, and can you tell which one is turned off?

Works great though I wish they made it more clear that you will need an external power supply to assist with powering many devices such as external hard drives or anything with a charging functionality. I contacted support and they referred me to the power adapter linked below which is compatible with this hub. I have it now and confirm that it works perfectly, albeit you will need a US->UK travel adapter as Sabrent do not produce U.K models of the power adapter. To clarify, this is for the 4-port 3.0 USB hub. Please check the list of compatibilities if you are searching for a power supply for another model.

Es un buen producto. Dado que he tenido que buscar mucho alguna valoración que dé información real sobre el uso del producto voy a aportarla yo. El HUB es pequeño y funciona bien. No lleva alimentación externa aunque sí que tiene una entrada, que entiendo yo que es de corriente, pero sin indicar más información, ni incluir ningún transformador en el paquete. El cable se puede quedar corto, de hecho es el motivo por el que le he puesto 4 estrellas. He tenido que usar un cable extensor de USB 3.0 que tenía en casa para poder tenerlo a mano. Si el producto se va a usar en un portátil o en algo que esté cerca no debería hacer falta ningún extensor, aunque en mi caso es para un PC de sobremesa que está a unos 70cms de distancia y no llega bien. Y vamos a lo importante, que es de lo que nadie habla y lo que más me interesaba saber antes de comprarlo: ¿al utilizar los 4 puertos al mismo tiempo hay algún tipo de merma en la velocidad? Pues prácticamente no. He hecho tres pruebas con un mismo Pendrive USB 3.0 (Philips FM32FD75B de 32gbs): la 1era es solo conectando el pendrive al HUB, otra conectando el pendrive directamente al puerto USB 3.0 de mi PC, y la última es del HUB con los 4 puertos encendidos y utilizados. La diferencia es mínima. De momento va bien, espero que siga así dentro de unos años.
Misteriosamente mucha gente se empeña en hacer reviews poniendo el tamaño del producto y/o sin conectarlo a un PC o aparato para el que está pensado este artículo. Doy por hecho que a este gente le han dado el producto para valorarlo de manera gratuita y, en lugar de hacer las pruebas que corresponden para los que estemos interesados tengamos información válida, simplemente cumplen con lo que acordaron. Esta gente no aporta nada y lo único que quieren es recibir un producto gratis. Sinceramente no entiendo esa mentalidad.
Edito valoración después de usarlo durante un mes: bajo de 4 estrellas a 1. Es un mal producto, con un único puerto utilizado con un pendrive USB se desconecta y conecta solo en medio de la transferencia de archivos. No le llega suficiente potencia ni para un único puerto utilizado. Incluso teniendo dos puertos usados, en uno de ellos un emisor Logitech Unifying para el teclado y ratón inalámbrico, si conecto cualquier otro aparato USB (como puede ser un simple pendrive de 16gbs) se pierde la conexión del ratón y teclado. Para nada recomendado.

I ordered this hub specifically to use with my 4k Fire Stick, off of a splitter, since I wanted to plug in both an external hard drive and a USB flash drive. While it does work for that task, running both devices perfectly, the whole reason I chose this particular model was for the on/off switches – there is no way to eject my flash drive and I was tired of getting the error on my laptop that it had been removed improperly and needed scanned. I naturally assumed that if the power was turned off on a port the flash drive would no longer be in use – because it had no power – and I would be able to safely eject it in the same way that you can eject one from a computer that is turned off. However, this is not the case. While it definitely does not have the power to read the device if I plug it into a slot that is turned off, once it has been turned on it will not safely eject despite turning the power off to a slot. I am very disappointed with that result.
That said, it does the job just as well as any other and the price is very reasonable for a 3.0 hub. The last 3.0 hub with 4 ports that I bought was at least $10 more and probably isn’t any better in quality. I do not regret purchasing it.

Gebrauch an sich ist ok, aber das zu- und wegschalten der einzelnen Ports komplett sinnlos. Hat man zum Beispiel eine Festplatte über Port 1 in Betrieb und will eine weitere über den Knopf des nächsten Ports zuschalten, so bricht die Spannung des Hubs für eine halbe Sekunde zusammen. Sprich, Port 1 wird kurz ausgeschaltet und wieder angeschaltet, zusammen mit Port 2. Das reicht aber aus, dass der Schreibvorgang der aktiven Festplatte unterbrochen wird. Tja, meine Daten waren nach dieser Aktion weg… Gott sei Dank war es nur eine Backup Platte. Abgesehen davon hat dieses Teil hat KEIN CE-Kennzeichen, bzw. irgendeine Art von Zertifizierung, man sollte sich also ernsthaft überlegen, ob man das benutzen will. Für mich leider ein absoluter Fehlkauf. Wer billig kauft, kauft zweimal.

Le produit est fonctionnel et le chipset GL3520 (MTT) reparti correctement la charge dans le cas où vous avez du transfert HDD – clé USB en simultané.
Par contre, sur le produit aucune mention CE au dos mais on a n° de serie, la marque, le modèle -> donc produit ne semble pas CE (enfin sur la boite si, mais pour un produit Designed in USA que la mention FCC ne soit pas présente fait tache et du coup ça donne envie de creuser sur cette belle société. Quand on inspecte le PCB , je trouve pas de régulateur de tension, Aucune trace de protection contre le retour de courant / tension dans le câble USB Host (câble branché sur votre PC) Exemple : Si vous utilisez un transformateur +5V et que vous le branché sur ce produit pour faire fonctionner un disque dur par exemple, une fois le PC éteint de drôle de chose peuvent se produire. Du 5V est injecté dans votre pc par le port USB. Si vous laisser en permanence un transfo +5V sur ce produit et qui reste en permanence branché à votre pc attendez-vous à un comportement bizarre du PC (ventilos qui tournes) impossibilité de démarrer le PC sans débranché le 5V, et sur le long terme je ne peux affirmer a 100% mais la carte mère, ou chipset gérant l’USB risquent de pas trop apprécier) Pour avoir expérimenté cela moi moi-même, un beau matin impossible de démarrer le pc alors que tout est bien branché, je vire le panneau latéral pour si j’ai un code erreur sur les digit debug : mais rien à la place de cela la moitié des mes ventilos tournent à très faible vitesse. Je réfléchis à a la derrière modification effectué sur mon pc : les hubs USB + transfos. Je coupe les transfos et paffe le pc démarre direct sans rien ne demander à personne. (il était en veille, et ça la fait crash ; reboot complet)
Bref, beau produit, interrupteur pratique, très bon prix, Mais au prix d’aucune protection du produit en interne …. Étant passé par leur site pour enregistrer mes produits sur leur page dédié, j’en les ai contactés directement par mail, une ce fut une belle erreur, Amazon n’ayant du coup pas l’historique des conversations. Mais à moi de faire le nécessaire avec Amazon qui stock et vend peut-être des produits non CE, des produits non au premier coup d’œil alors qu’ils disposent de la place nécessaire sous le produit pour l’indiquer, si seulement les produits ont été testés en laboratoire et là j’ai un gros doute. J’ai Essayé de discuter avec le vendeur mais sans résultat, celui-ci prend les gens de haut et se moque totalement de ça : problème de sécurité, législation, j’ai lâché l’affaire quand j’ai vu que c’était déjà la troisième personne différente qui me répondait je ne suis pas du genre à lâcher, mais un problème technique humain ma imposé un petit séjour hosto qui m’a fait stopper cette joute futile une fois au urgence de l’hosto pour des problème de santé plus urgent que ce vendeur à la limite de la légalité et de moralité. Ps : Ce battre contre ce genre de vendre qui vend par millier ce genre de produit bon marché et peine perdu, et non mon chat n’a pas les poils blanc et long 😀

The hub is ok, but if you don’t need a hub with switches you are far better off getting one without. My hub arrived with a broken switch. 3 were working fine, but the 4th would not turn on. Since I need to connect 4 devices, I am going to return it for a refund. I have ordered the Anker Ultra Slim instead. It does not have switches and should be more reliable.

I’m extremely disappointed in this product! I have had it for less than a month almost a week to be exact and it’s already falling apart! As shown in the picture it dropped on a carpet and somehow it’s already broken. upon arrival, I did notice it had a little rattling noise didn’t think much of it. Like all my reviews I wait a month to really review the durability of the product, and working properties however if I could “star rate this product” it doesn’t deserve any stars! I got this product to use the extra 3 ports for my microphone, webcam, and mouse pad when I stream however didn’t even last long to really enjoy the product. I felt like I’ve been taken advantage of and wasted money on this product. So please, before purchasing make sure to read this review. I don’t recommend this product. It’s so fragile and breaks very easily. I’m not sure if it’s a faulty product but not even lasting a full week? That’s terrible quality. It’s such cheap plastic, the USB slots easily fall out there isn’t anything holding them safely down. There’s a small white transparent button that is a clicker that goes under the black button once you lose that you’re pretty much screwed. So, warning before you buy a product like this always check the reviews and updated reviews.
The company Store4PC” did reach out to me and since I still had time returning/ replacing my product they sent me a replacement. Customer service was good, only since I’m guessing the time frame of the product I could have returned it. in detail, I explained the product and the flaws of this product through a few messages with the company. Since I had to play a questioner game so they can ” file” any malfunctions with the product I felt like a game of 20 questions. The replacement didn’t last very long I’ll say roughly a month before the USB drive either couldn’t read my mouse, webcam, etc. The intense plugging in switching products from one port to the next does make the USB port lose too. Would I recommend this product” I wouldn’t but purchase at your own risk. I’m just saying you could purchase better quality but I do appreciate the customer service however I did have that open window of returning the product/ refund. If the product breaks within that time frame make sure to either contact the company or just get a refund. It’s not worth money and only lasts a couple of days, weeks, or a month. We need reliable products and this isn’t one of them.

I have three computers, between them I want to share one HDMI screen, a Logitech Uni Wireless Mouse and a USB Keyboard. The Sabrent 3.0 Hub works and has a Wireless Unify Receiver and a USB keyboard plugged into it. The output end of the Sabrent goes into a port switcher that has three computer connected to receive this keyboard and mouse combination. It works and it replaced a Linksys HUB that seem to have died.

I ordered these for part of my setup to make it easy to swap my desktop peripherals between my desktop and work laptop, as a software engineer a decent keyboard is the most important and I hated spending 10 minutes pulling things in and out, so I ordered two of these the quality on this hub is amazing, read and write speeds are shockingly good (I had originally expected very poor behavior for storage) the buttons are great quality and I really enjoy the toggle (when the port is enabled the button is clearly pressed in). I also happen to be a fairly avid gamer so of course a concern was would using my keyboard and mouse through one of these impact my gaming performance, the answer to this is not at all or at least not that I can tell. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a nice premium feeling USB Hub.

The fit, finish and build seemed rather good. unfortunately, the functionality was rather all over the place. My G.Skill ripsaw gaming keyboard would constantly reconnect, despite me not touching. Every time I plugged my Microsoft webcam in, my keyboard would disconnect, and the camera wouldn’t remain functioning for more then a few seconds (video conf. software couldn’t get any video, but as soon as I bypassed this hub, it works perfectly). For the money, it seems this device uses a very cheap USB hub chipset, that has lots of issues. Ended up returning it, and buying a more expensive, but reliable version.

I purchased three of these for three different computers and all three of these have died within six months. The devices plugged into them wouldn’t register at boot without switching the devices off then on both Intel and AMD platforms. The hubs wouldn’t work with any USB 3 Gen 2 port. The hubs didn’t work with any USB thumb drives. The LEDs have randomly died. Now, the devices constantly cut out the transmission for keyboards and mice making them fully useless. I never tested these features until after the return date or else I would have immediately returned these.

Like all my reviews I wait a month to really review the durability of the product, and working properties however if I could “star rate this product” it doesn’t deserve any stars! I got this product to use the extra 3 ports for my microphone, webcam, and mouse pad when I stream however didn’t even last long to really enjoy the product. I felt like I’ve been taken advantage of and wasted money on this product. So please, before purchasing make sure to read this review. I don’t recommend this product. It’s so fragile and breaks very easily. I’m not sure if it’s a faulty product but not even lasting a full week? That’s terrible quality. It’s such cheap plastic, the USB slots easily fall out there isn’t anything holding them safely down. There’s a small white transparent button that is a clicker that goes under the black button once you lose that you’re pretty much screwed. So, warning before you buy a product like this always check the reviews and updated reviews.
The company Store4PC” did reach out to me and since I still had time returning/ replacing my product they sent me a replacement. Customer service was good, only since I’m guessing the time frame of the product I could have returned it. in detail, I explained the product and the flaws of this product through a few messages with the company. Since I had to play a questioner game so they can ” file” any malfunctions with the product I felt like a game of 20 questions. The replacement didn’t last very long I’ll say roughly a month before the USB drive either couldn’t read my mouse, webcam, etc. The intense plugging in switching products from one port to the next does make the USB port lose too. Would I recommend this product” I wouldn’t but purchase at your own risk. I’m just saying you could purchase better quality but I do appreciate the customer service however I did have that open window of returning the product/ refund. If the product breaks within that time frame make sure to either contact the company or just get a refund. It’s not worth money and only lasts a couple of days, weeks, or a month. We need reliable products and this isn’t one of them.

I have three computers, between them I want to share one HDMI screen, a Logitech Uni Wireless Mouse and a USB Keyboard. The Sabrent 3.0 Hub works and has a Wireless Unify Receiver and a USB keyboard plugged into it. The output end of the Sabrent goes into a port switcher that has three computer connected to receive this keyboard and mouse combination. It works and it replaced a Linksys HUB that seem to have died.

I ordered these for part of my setup to make it easy to swap my desktop peripherals between my desktop and work laptop, as a software engineer a decent keyboard is the most important and I hated spending 10 minutes pulling things in and out, so I ordered two of these the quality on this hub is amazing, read and write speeds are shockingly good (I had originally expected very poor behavior for storage) the buttons are great quality and I really enjoy the toggle (when the port is enabled the button is clearly pressed in). I also happen to be a fairly avid gamer so of course a concern was would using my keyboard and mouse through one of these impact my gaming performance, the answer to this is not at all or at least not that I can tell. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a nice premium feeling USB Hub.

The fit, finish and build seemed rather good.
unfortunately, the functionality was rather all over the place. My G.Skill ripsaw gaming keyboard would constantly reconnect, despite me not touching. Every time I plugged my Microsoft webcam in, my keyboard would disconnect, and the camera wouldn’t remain functioning for more then a few seconds (video conf. software couldn’t get any video, but as soon as I bypassed this hub, it works perfectly).
For the money, it seems this device uses a very cheap USB hub chipset, that has lots of issues. Ended up returning it, and buying a more expensive, but reliable version.

I purchased three of these for three different computers and all three of these have died within six months. The devices plugged into them wouldn’t register at boot without switching the devices off then on both Intel and AMD platforms. The hubs wouldn’t work with any USB 3 Gen 2 port. The hubs didn’t work with any USB thumb drives. The LEDs have randomly died. Now, the devices constantly cut out the transmission for keyboards and mice making them fully useless. I never tested these features until after the return date or else I would have immediately returned these.
