Bought this early 2018. As of today it barely works. The connections are weak and the ports are loose. The sound ports started failing before any of the video ports. Some of them only worked on one of the audio channels now. The Video on the other gets fuzzy and if you move the unit, it cuts out.
It was good at first, but you can tell this is a cheaply made product. But you DO get what you pay for with this.
**** Update, since my review of this product, the company has sent me a new unit. This unit has had no issues as the previous one and I am happy with it as of now. I have had the new unit for almost 5 months now and it has worked out great. I have 4 retro game consoles connected to it and it has worked seamlessly this far.

It’s a pretty simple setup, just input pass through with a switch to manage the inputs. I haven’t experienced any quality degradation or ‘input jumble’ that others have noted. It’s running a Super NES, a Wii, a Gamecube and. VCR, and comparing plugging these directly into the TV vs into this switcher, the video and audio quality is the same.
I think the only complaint I have is the orientation and positioning of the inputs and outputs makes it difficult to keep things organized. Ended up Velcro-ing to the back of the TV to keep the cable mess in order.

I use this in conjunction with my wireless headphones to switch audio between laptop, ps4 and stereo.
It was straight forward to set up and works just fine. The sound quality is good, clean and constant on all inputs. Very happy with this item.

\We have one RCA connector on our LCD TV and this is perfect for connecting all our older Playstations, Nintendo, RetroN, and Sega games to it.

I don’t do reviews but this item is a must for music buffs, I have items that don’t have speakers so this innovative product solved my problems, my phono, cassettes player and dab player are all sourced thru my Bluetooth player, absolutely brilliant, a must for anybody who love their music.

I wanted this to connect a PsOne, PS2 & my laptop to an old Hi-Fi. It did all that. It has four inputs so I have one spare for any other console I may link up as and when as I have a number of old ones. I had a choice as to whether I connect the picture through the box or direct to the TV. I chose to connect direct to the TV as I have a component cable for my PS2 for the better picture (
Leaders 1.8M HD Component AV Cable for Playstation PS2 PS3
which works.) Going through this box only gives AV connection. As for the PsOne I use a S-Video cable and I do have the option of going through the box using input 4 as it does give S-Video connection and a cable so not a problem.
The audio cable I just plugged into the back of my Hi-fi. I could use splitter cables to connect to the TV as well which I may well do. Really easy to set up – just plug the cables in one side and out the other side – then move the slider switch to your desired input. I didn’t notice any problems with sound quality and my laptop sounds great through it. No external power supply either so one less cable and plug socket needed. Very inexpensive device which does everything I wanted from it.

Not much to say about this to be honest apart from this is cheap, and the aux connections on the device have a lot of play, and very prone to breaking. slider buttons on the device are crap. and the best thing about this is it’s poor quality Sound and video. If you want quality do not buy this. Spend the extra money on something better!!.

Works good with the av cables but didnt with the s video provided. Could be me though never used s video before and only tried it becuse of the free cable. Looks decent but in hindsite i wish the ports were all in the back. Feels kinda cheep and is very light, but it was cheep so thats kindof par for the course. Overall pretty good for the 15 ish bucks i paid

Sockets are not mechanically sound. Only a plastic spigot locates them and is not strong enough to take the force of pushing a tight plug on leaving the soldered joints to take the strain. Had to resolder all joints. I have had to do this twice before binning. Absolutely useless if you ever want to change your leads round.

Very pleased with this. Found myself with multiple AV input devices for the TV so this gadget was perfect.
It’s fairly unobtrusive – sits neatly at the base of the screen and it’s very simple to switch between the inputs.
Only “downside” is the leads you connect to it do stick out from the front of the device so you do need a bit of cable tidying to keep it neat. That’s always going to be the challenge when you connect lots of devices.
Overall – works perfectly and great value for money.

Item was received as promised, and works well. The switch is rather cheap and is difficult to position accurately.
Cable jacks are located on all sides of the unit, making it ‘messy’ looking, and difficult to place in a system.

Most TVs nowadays only have one or two spots to plug in things like a DVD player or game consoles that use the yellow/red/white cable, so I figured this would make it a lot easier to switch between different devices. It seems to work quite well. I haven’t used it much but I tested it out when I first got it and it doesn’t seem to affect the video or audio quality of the devices. For the price, it seems to do what I need it to.

This will not allow you to switch between different input signals if you have a system hooked up with an s-video cable everything has to be av out or video wont be displayed, this was very disappointing to me
