Sounded really good when it first arrived and we were pretty happy with it. The battery did not last as described but we were able to live with it. Now 2 months after receiving it, the base sounds blown. Turned it on one day and it sounds terrible. Treble sound fine but base is all blown out. It was used only a couple days per week so maybe 16 uses in all. There were other much cheaper speakers out there but we went with what we thought was a higher quality product to avoid this situation. : – (
UPDATE: within hours of posting this review, the seller (Tribit Direct) sent me an email apologizing for the defective unit and within a day we got a brand new unit. We couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Will definitely buy again from this seller!

Having read the many reviews for the Tribit Go Bluetooth Speaker I went ahead and ordered it. Wow I am really impressed with the sound quality, which is better than most home stereos. You need to site it either directly behind you or in front, the little feet on the speaker hold it steady, and just enjoy your choice of music. I am enjoying Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way, as I type this and it is awesome.

Delivered in less than 13 hrs , package received in full nice condition and Sound is just the same as i wanted…. Loud crispy & Clear….
I definitely would recommend it…

I’ve bought a few BT speakers and done pretty well on a budget each time by trying endlessly in shops with my favourite songs. I was lucky to be in China where one can browse these side by side.
I bought this based on reviews here and in the press. It doesn’t disappoint and I can confirm the sound across the range is awesome, and the battery life +> 20 hours for sure.
Best BT speaker I’ve had.

Bought this because of Oluv’s recommendation (YouTube channel “clavinetjunkie”) and Tribit’s quick customer service.
The Anker A7908 speaker I had before could not play music while it was charging (which was a huge disappointment). This one can, and the sound is better.
So far I really like the product.

Really Disappointed I’ve had this for 2 months now wish I could return it because there is Delay on the sound from the video which is very annoying when watching video for example on YouTube.
It’s okay when you’re listening to music or podcasts but the base is not great and the volume level is not great I was hoping it would be more louder.
Maybe I received a faulty unit I don’t know because the sticker sealing the box was open and I get a feeling maybe this was a return unit that they sent me. Definitely would not recommend if you are buying to use with watching videos or listen to music on YouTube.

I love this thing. Given its compact size, it has great bass and overall sound. Its super water resistant (no issues having it in the shower). I haven’t actually put it underwater yet, but it seems very well sealed that it could handle it no problem. The battery charge is solid. I haven’t yet once run out of juice mid sing-a-long, although I keep it charged on a regular basis. The size is awesome, it travelled recently with us to Hawai’i and was great to take to the beach, listen in our condo, or have on my deck chair. I put it behind my neck while lying down and had it loud enough that I was rocking to tunes but my wife couldn’t hear it.

Review:
This was exactly what I was looking for in a portable BT speaker, something compact and waterproof that I can attach to my bike, with decent sound and battery life. While it doesn’t have some of the features of more expensive models, or even some competitor models, it makes up for it in sound quality. The first thing that stood out for me when unboxing was the solid feel of the speaker and the heft; it is heavier than it looks. And when you connect to it and play music with some bass, this thing vibrates! There’s 4 tiny rubber “feet” that provide grip & vibration dampening so that it doesn’t rattle on a hard surface, but I like to tilt it up so that it rest on the 2 back feet and the back of the case. Problem with this setup is the back is not cushioned, so on tracks with a heavy bass the XSoundGo will rattle/buzz especially on a hard metal surface.
I’m not an audiophile so I can’t really say if this is a “really good sounding” speaker, other than it sounds good to me. So, to give you a better idea of what the XSoundGo sounds like, I will compare the sound quality with some of the other portable speakers that I have access to:
1. Compared to the Headrush Icon (a rebranded Kenwood AS-BT77)
The HR Icon just sounds more “expansive”, i.e. it sounds bigger/wider, while the XSoundGo sounds like a small speaker by comparison. Also the bass on the Icon is much more powerful. This really wasn’t a fair comparison since the Kenwood on which the Icon is based, was a higher end model (comparable with JBL Charge 3 sound-wise), when it was launched in 2014.
2. Compared to the Vtin Punker 20W BT portable, available from 2016 – present
I thought that the Vtin would have better bass, but the XSoundGo actually reverberates much better than the more powerful(ly spec’d) Vtin, and I think the Tribit also sounds better.
3. Compared to the Pecham P16 – a low-priced BT speaker from 2016, 2017
By comparison, the Pecham sounds ‘flat’ as in the background & foreground seem to exist in the same plane, almost 2-D like, and only has minimal bass. The XSoundGo wins hands down.
As for the battery life, I was able to get roughly 12-13 hours of play time before it dropped to 30%, which is not that close (even after extrapolation) to its claimed playtime of 24 hours.
Overall, I’m really liking this speaker, but for those looking for a larger sound with heavier bass, this might not fit the bill. But in terms of price and sound quality in a compact and waterproof package, it might be hard to find something better than this. Rating: 5 stars

This IS NO pushover for sure. I was really surprised when i turned this on, the clarity is wonderful and full. I bout several of these, at once, the oontz 3 Ultra, Anker Soundcore 2 and the TaoTronics 14 watt. Tribit has such a clear reproduction of music and bass that at no point becomes muddy or weak, however, i will say that the Oontz 3 Ultra is louder with a much more bigger bass, but it does NOT give as rich a reproduction as the Tribit which captures the trebles and bass PERFECTLY. The Oontz 3 ultra is perfect for a party because of it’s loudness, bass and “bigness”, but it does not bring everything to the front like the Tribit does. This is just a BEAUTIFUL piece of machinery that the Anker doesn’t hold a match to, and even though the Oontz 3 is my go to when i want bigness, the Tribit is just soooooo worth the money. Try it, you can alway return it, but i bet you wont!!! you really have to hear this speaker to believe it. If it could get louder, and it does get loud, but not BIG LOUD, it would be other wordly. To the makers of this product….HATS OFF!!! I included a video on a stylus 3 plus phone, so the sound reproduction isn’t great..and some of the music -pop life, raspberry beret are not remastered, but here it is. When you hear the beep, it means that it can’t get any louder, and i had the Tribit at it’s loudest, and as you can see the clarity is not to be questioned. I hope this helps you all. peace and love. I would get this and the Oontz 3 ultra. But Tribit is just WONDERFUL!! And the Taotronics is worth it, but HANDS DOWN…Tribit is a MUST HAVE!

This speaker is a better value to Anker or Aukey’s offering. It claims to be IPX7 and can be fully immersed in water. The bass sounds fuller and gets about as loud as the competitors with bearable distortion. Produces a surprising amount of sound with minimal distortion at quarter volume which is plenty enough for listening in a small quiet living room.

excellent value for the money and is WAY better than Beats portable speaker, sound is awsome and battery time is double it’s rivals, solid construction, not cheaply made, definately a quality speaker

I tried Anker, Oontz and Tribit. Compared all of them. Anker sound seems to be nasally congested. Although base was good. Oontz 3 plus sound was very clear but base was not strong enough. This lil speaker from Tribit has excellent sound, amazing base with pleasing clarity. I can simply say, it competes with bose mini portable speaker. Highly recommended.
