I am in my 80s. We recently took up the carpeting in our bedroom and put down laminate flooring. I found when I sat on the edge of the bed my feet would slide on the floor and I was afraid I was going to fall. This mat having rubber backing, prevented the sliding and I feel much more secure. Such a nice feeling to step on this mat after a shower! Comfortable to even kneel on when you wash your bathtub or dog! It’s not insanely quick drying, but it does eventually dry. Not a problem for me. I vacuum or sweep up the hair very frequently. I shall see how it fares when I wash in the washing machine.
I’ve bought 3 of this gray colour; 1 in the bigger size, 2 in the smaller size. Don’t forget to measure to find the appropriate size for your bathrooms. The door will even skim over the mat if you’re curious!
I probably will not advise to use as a kitchen mat for anti-fatigue. Grease will land from pan-frying and will most likely ruin the soft fabric. I recommend for bathroom use or elsewhere in the house if you’d like.

I’ve attached a photo comparing one i have not yet used to one i’ve been using for a month. both photos were taken at the same angle from the same distance. Although visually it might not look like much, it makes quite a difference texture-wise. It essentially feels like there’s a t-shirt between my feet and the bath tiles.

I like that this is soft and easy to wash, yet sturdy enough to keep it’s place on the floor. I can even vacuum it without it getting sucked up and caught in the vacuum. The size is exactly what I need, most bathroom mats are far to large for the place I need one. I’ll be ordering another one, perhaps in a different colour.

I can’t say anything about absorbency or wash-ability yet, as I just received this, two days ago. It is so soft on my feet and looks great. It doesn’t shift around on my tiled floor and keeps my feet warm away from the cold tiles. The color is exactly as portrayed and it arrived earlier than promised. Very pleased with this product and a reasonable price means that I won’t likely have any buyer’s remorse.
