Tabebuia rosea is a neotropical tree with pink or purple flowers and various medicinal uses. It is the national tree of El Salvador and grows in tropical and subtropical regions with high rainfall and diverse soils. Tabebuia Rosea is an eye-catching shrub native to warm climates in Central and South America. It’s also popular as the pink trumpet tree due to its vibrant, trumpet-shaped pink blossoms that bloom in early spring and last through the summer. You may have seen the Tabebuia rosea tree with a crown full of pink or white flowers, growing along the streets or in parks. Flowering is typically triggered by heavy rains after a long hot and dry spell, usually between March and April and again between August and September. In some places of Chennai, the flowers are almost white whereas in some places they are a nice pink. T. rosea is a large-growing forest tree with dull, rather heavily-veined leaves. T. heterophylla is a small to medium-sized tree with smooth-margined, glossy foliage.
