Was gifted these for Christmas from my hubby because he thought they were cute, which they are, BUT they are snug with little to no stretch in the foot (I am a Canadian size 8), they are thin (I can feel the laminate floors and bottom of my boots through them), uncomfortable (you can feel every knitted stitch under your foot), and have nothing for comfort built-in (no reinforced toes, heels). Ladies, gift-givers, whoever you are, if you are looking for quality socks for warmth, comfort, and durability, these are not it. But they are cute.

I do like these socks. They are very pretty and comfortable and warm. not a heavy knit, a fairly light weight for a wool sock. I washed one pair to see if they would shrink because they are made of merino wool, but they did not. So that was good, because washing socks by hand is not convenient. HOWEVER, here is the heads up: I have average width feet, and wear a size 8 shoe. These socks pull over the heel very snug. If you do not have an average width foot or if your shoe size is even one size larger that an 8 I would not advise ordering these as you may not be able to get them on, Also, there is a disclaimer the company has put on amazon stating they DO accept returns, so apparently some reviewers don’t know this as they stated they could not return these. I will be keeping mine as I see no problem with them. It would have been nice if they had either made them a bit larger at the top of the cuff because that is where you really have to stretch them to the max to get them over the heel. Or at least made two sizes to choose from.

They look adorable. You can tell they’re wool and not polyester. They’re a bit warm (wouldn’t wear in the summer, better for fall and winter), but they do breathe well and my feet don’t feel sweaty or stinky from wearing them like polyester can sometimes do. Price is a bit on the higher end, but they’re wool and so cute, they’d be perfect gifts. I’ll definitely look for cotton socks from the same manufacturer next summer!
I haven’t put them through the dryer yet, but they don’t seem to shrink in the washer. I’ll update if shrinkage or felting is a problem (can be with some natural fibers).

I was quite surprised at the quality of these socks, they were very soft and the design and color choices were impeccable. This was a gift for my mother and she loves them! The downside of these was that there were a few loose ends, but they were not in the way. I received these socks and am quiet pleased with them, at least the pairs that made it through the first washing. After receiving them and before wearing them, I put them in the wash after which a hole appeared in one of the socks at the heal corner where they come together with the foot and the ankle. I tried emailing the seller and received no response in regard to a replacement sock for the one that fell apart. Overall synopsis: cute and warm if they make it through the first wash. Expect 20% to fall apart and no response from the seller to rectify the situation.

These socks are well made, and fit well – no lumpy toes. They are just the right weight to comfort my tender feet, but not thick like boot socks. The only drawback is the wide elastic inside the cuff. It invariably causes deep indentations in my ankles, cutting off circulation and causing my feet to swell. I have medical issues that causes a tendency toward this problem. I am sure most people would be happy with them, The colors are fun and cheerful. They go through the laundry looking like new. The colors have stayed bright even after several washings. If you wear shoes bigger than 8.5 you might find them too snug, or not quite able to fit as securely over the heel as you would prefer.
