I’ve never had a pair of jeans with so many quality issues. I have had TWO pairs of these jeans start to come apart after a few wearings and just one wash each. They have not been subject to any physical labour whatsoever; I wear them to work, where I sit at a desk all day.
The first pair failed after about three washes, and the second pair failed after a single wash. The second pair was ordered MONTHS after the first pair, and was a slightly smaller size, so the chances of you getting a bad pair are very high. I will not order a third pair just to have the same thing happen again.
The first failure on both pairs of jeans was a hole right near the base of the seam of the flap that covers the zipper. The seam itself is still intact, so I can’t explain what caused the holes. On the first pair, this happened after about 5-7 washes, and after ONE wash on the second pair.
On the first pair, there were also additional failures:
– A tear tear at the corner of a rear pocket. The pocket has has never caught on anything.
– A belt loop ripped away from the jeans. I don’t pull on the belt loops.
Neither pair fight tightly, so the fabric and stitching was not strained more than normal. The first pair (with 3 failures) was actually too big, and the second pair fit just right.
My final issue with both pairs of these jeans is that they are almost a full 2″ longer than the measurement reads. If you want to buy these jeans, and don’t mind that they will only last you a few wearings, buy shorter than you need.

Nothing like genuine Wranglers. The legs are too long. The outside leg measurement is actually longer than the inside leg measurement which is actually an inch longer than stated. Bad tailoring. The leg width at knee height is wider than Wranglers making the jeans look baggy, The bottom of the legs is narrower than genuine Wranglers making the jeans look tapered. I gave one star for the waist measurement being correct.

Overall the quality is good and fit are good. They are great jeans at a good price but you don’t always get what you think you ordered. I have ordered jeans with 7% spandex and 93% cotton three times. The first time I got what I ordered. The second time I got 100% cotton and the third time 2% spandex, 7% polyester and 91% cotton. Clearly you can’t rely on the description.

I am annoyed with both myself and Amazon. Saw these ‘Wrangler Authentics’, thought ‘they’re cheap yes lets buy two pairs’. But they are anything but authentic. Wranglers always have the badge stitched onto the right hand back pocket along with ‘W’s on both pockets. These don’t. They are not Wrangler jeans and the one star reflects this.

Ordered a 36 waist and when I tried them on I actually thought it’d lost weight. No such luck as these pants aren’t even close to size. The 36 was more like 38 or 39. Needless to say I’m returning them and will order a 34 and cross my fingers as I do like them.
Update: This is my second order of these jeans. There’s definitely something wrong with the labeling system as my first order was for two pair of 36″ jeans that were huge and fit like a 38 or 39″ waist size. In this order thinking that perhaps they fit large for some weird reason, I ordered two pairs of jeans size 34″ waist. One pair actually fits… I’m a 36″ waist…. and the other is no more than an actual 32″ waist. I really like these jeans but I’m probably going to have to find them at a brick and mortar store to try them on just because the labeled waist sizes are completely wonky.

It’s impossible to find jeans with a 31″ leg so when I saw these I thought I’d give them a try. I have other Wrangler jeans but the 30″ leg is a little short and the 32″ leg is just too long so, like Goldilocks, for me the 31″ leg is just right. Wrangler jeans last as long as you’d expect for this price point and I’ve always been satisfied with the durability versus price ratio. I’ve paid double this price for Levis in the past and they don’t last any longer so I switched to Wranglers and saved money for essentially the same fit and durability. I high;y recommend these jeans.

after reading reviews and every body said the legs were to long. i didn’t believe them. well they are to long and that has never happened to me before. The other problem with them is they are really faded after 1 wash. I use them for dress pants till they fade and then for work. well these become work pants very fast. My cheaper pants I use to buy stayed black much longer, like 15 washes.

I have ordered 2 in blue from Amazon and they are excellent quality. The one in black the denim does not feel as soft as the blue, and the black denim is a bit coarse. The blue ones are soft. I am not sure if this black one is genuine and would not buy again.
UPDATE: I purchased these from the Amazon Global Store assuming that they were sold by Amazon, that way you know you are getting the genuine article. Amazon have confiirmed to me this item from the global store are sourced from thrid party sellers and then sold by Amazon. If its sold and dispatched by Amazon, its always genuine, when you get these third party sellers, then the danger of counterfeits can happen. In this case I am now certain that these jeans are fake. I have put them next to the genuine blue ones and they are completely different in weight, style, denim, quality and feel. I will not be using the global store ever again, sticking to Amazon UK.

Really dislike the horizontal button hole at the the waist, very awkward. Every other button hole I have ever used anywhere on clothing for my 80+ years has been vertical. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”

So, as I understand it “Wrangler Authentics” are not genuine “Wranglers” but a close copy. Though I know this only from other reports here. My experience of my first pair would tend to confirm this. They look good and feel good as Wranglers but shape and feel do not last as long as the “genuine” article. But the fit and cut are so close as to make little difference and the price makes them an affordable copy whereas the cost of the “genuine” article is currently out of my budget reach. So buy with confidence but remember these may not be the genuine article…..

I do prefer Wrangler Jeans to other makes although I seem to have a problem finding the correct sive. I am a 36 waist 32 leg. I used to buy Wranglers at Matalan for a good price but they no longer stock them so I searched on Amazon instead. Couldn’t find the right size in a blue denim but found the khaki in the correct size.( I am not a fashion victim and colour really doesn’t bother me). Strides are comfy and fit well. I will buy again in the future.

These are the jeans I always wear. They always fit as expected and are great value for the price. Quality is fantastic. No complaints here. If you spend more on jeans then you are just wasting your money.

Ordered the classic reg. fit dark rinse , they are not marked stretch but they are , maybe less than some but still stretch . Fit is close , maybe slightly large . BUT I’ve worn jeans all my life , yes nice heavy denim jeans ! they always stretch while you wear them , who needs spandex ! If I want stretch I’ll buy pajamas . For the record , thanks Amazon for quick delivery and returns . RB
