I liked the idea of this as it seems less messy than a piping bag. Overall it works well. Mine however has broken after only a few uses – the top has snapped somehow and you need to push this down for the icing to come out of the nozzle so is useless. Hopefully just a one off. Am considering ordering again and hoping mine was just dodgy. Would’ve rated higher if it had lasted longer!

I’m new to the icing task and wanted something easy and not complicated to use. I tried the bags and I’m not there yet. This device is like a syringe it is so easy to use and my results are getting better with practice. It all comes apart for easy cleaning. I absolutely love it. In my opinion it is great value for
money and strong enough to push the icing out. Hopefully I will perfect my icing skills thanks to this great product

J’avais un vieux modele en metal beaucoup plus petit et plus facile à manipuler. Somme toute, j’aime mieux cet outil qu’une poche à douille.

I found this product didn’t allow me to control the icing like I would with my hand with a soft bag. It made it more difficult for me to control the flow of the icing coming out. I don’t prefer to use this when decorating with icing. It ended up in my cupboard not being used.

I originally thought this was going to save me a ton of time as an alternative to piping filling into my cookies. The process of filling the tube and ensuring product out the spout is a bit tricky but what’s worse is the installation of the applicator pumping mechanism back into the tube. Once I managed to get it assembled and started piping, the spring trigger failed and dislodged making it useless other than a large syringe filled with product which now had to be dispensed. Waste of time. Could be made with stronger components so they don’t break easily.

I used to pipe frosting and other baked goods with a one time use bag and would get so messy all the time. This device is so handy and mostly mess free! I wish the opening to put the frosting was a bit bigger but it keeps your hands clean and it’s all so easy to clean and take apart. Plus nothing leaks everywhere and it’s very easy to control, it’s such a great tool and you can re-use it all the time so there’s less waste!

Used this to ice and decorate a unicorn cake. I used four different colours of icing and used the Decorator Plus for the entire cake. I took it apart an cleaned it between colour changes. It was so easy to take apart and clean that I feel like it took less time to decorate the cake than it would have with decorating bags. I was also able to use my other Wilton tips with it as well. I was able to use my smaller tips for better detail with out issue. I will be using this instead of bags from now on.

This thing is great I find for my softer buttercream icing, it’s so easy to unscrew the bottom, load it up & ice up a simple pattern on a batch of cupcakes..I could see this working well for some other decorating projects too. It’s a tad tough to press the trigger though with my thicker icings…and the bf had twisted it too tightly & caused a slight crack on it so I suspect it’s not up to a lot of twisting or heavy duty work but it’s perfect for soft icing projects. I clean the thing by just soaking it once done & wiping it out & find it’s been keeping well despite the crack. Also looks like it could potentially take on a lot of other tips with the couplers…not bad at all for the price!! This saves my hand from getting sore with an icing bag on a smaller batch & helps me speed up the time it takes to ice them…only thing is I do need to log this about 3 tones to do a batch of 12 large cupcakes as opposed to loading an icing bag once but I find the ease of use a huge trade off since it’s really quick to load it up!

I own a coffee shop and we need a muffin filler for one of our seasonal items. So, we bought this item. Unfortunately it doesn’t work very well when it comes to cream cheese icing and it is very hard to fill and clean.

Perfect icing every time! I cannot stress enough how easy this is to use and how clean it keeps everything. It’s also very easy to wash and change nozzles etc. Even in between decorating, it’s so simple to swap bits around, and the plunger helps keep the tube clear whilst icing. It’s amazing! I wish I had found it sooner.

I’m a first time Piper! I watch a couple of youtube tutorials, ordered this product and went to work! I think it worked really well – wish there were more tips to chose from. As a newbie, I could only use one tip well so far (need to practice). I think most standard tips will work well with this product.
To clean, I just dissembled it and soaked it in soapy water for a bit and it was easy enough – extra details around the grooves, which was expected! It’s a bit delicate so handle with care when assembling and disassembling to avoid cracking the plastic.
Lastly, it’s very easy to use but I did have to refill it often to finish off 2 dozen mini cupcakes.

This worked perfectly at first , however, the body of it cracked and broke off when I had finished piping, a shame really. So I cannot use it. Should have been a bit more sturdy but what can you expect from plastic!! I brought a stainless steel one.

I bought this after my previous syringe got so old it needed replacing. However I find it difficult to handle as it appears to be designed for quite a large hand so piping is tricky compared to my old model. The nozzle coupler also broke fairly soon after purchasing without using any excessive force. I am able to still use it, but I tend to just use a piping bag now.
