Just got it in and tried it on… perfect fit! I can still fit my thermals under, but already super warm/hot. By the way I’m 5’7 and weight 160. I got a size X-Large

I recently took a trip to Iceland, where the average daytime temperature was in the low 30s to low 40s (Fahrenheit), and it was forecast to rain on and off for our whole trip with the possibility of snow. I’ve lived in a mildly warm climate my entire life and have never had a need for a heavy waterproof jacket before. This jacket was perfect for my needs!
It was totally waterproof and very warm. I’m 5’5″ and 125 lbs so I normally wear a size small in tops, so I ordered a small jacket and was pleased to find that it was roomy enough to wear multiple layers underneath without becoming stifling or constrictive. The pockets were easily accessible and held my phone, keys, and sunglasses with room to spare. The breast pocket looks small, but it is large enough to hold a smartphone, which was useful when I had to wear a harness around my waist that made the waist pockets inaccessible. The inside of the jacket is some sort of faux fur which was quite soft and cozy. I especially liked that the hood has two straps on either side which can Velcro together across the front of the mouth – in bitterly cold wind this prevented the hood from being yanked off my head and protected my lips. And the jacket was very waterproof – I wore it out and about in the rain and stayed completely dry. Overall I was very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

I was very excited for this purchase. Literally it was dleivered and then taken on a ski trip. I went to take the jacket off and was stabbed by something sharp in the sleeve. I tried to locate the sharp object and was stabbed multiple times. I found that when I pulled the sharp pieces they did not come out. I had to rip open the jacket to remove them only to find 5 sharp broken needles inside my sleeve armhole. I’m appalled that the craftsmanship is so poor to quality control and make sure that this item is safe for customers. DO NOT BUY!
SHARP NEEDLES SEWN INTO GARMENT! WIll return and never buy from again.

I love this jacket, been wearing it for a few winters now & it still fits the same. It’s warm enough to wear a tshirt underneath & not get cold (I know, I’ve done this a few times & the way Canadian winters can be, this isn’t necessarily something you wanna make a habit off lol). This jacket is beyond comfortable & the hood is a proper hood not 1 of those little dinky ones. I’m a big fan of pockets & this jacket has plenty of them. I even got my boyfriend a similar jacket & he loves his the same way.

Pro: waterproof, windproof, warm, outer material is a decent quality
Con: not very breathable. My arms sweat in it but if i wear a long sleeve shirt under it and it is just fine.
The “cuffs with thumb holes” isn’t very well done. The cuff is extremely loose so it doesn’t really do much.
The zipper pockets are nice but sometimes hard to zip and unzip.
I bought it on sale. Good jacket but I wouldn’t pay full price for it.

I received this coat today after a few days waiting for it to be delivered (Amazon is to be commended for delivery times!). When I took it out of the bag, I was impressed with the look and feel…living in Ottawa (colder climate) I was trying to find a coat that would be good for late fall/early winter, and this one seems to be what I was looking for. BUT….
I’m definitely not a big person. I’m approx. 4’10’1/2″, around 115 lbs soaking wet. However, I ordered a medium size in this coat, thinking it might be too big (medium usually is on me, but I figured I could wear a heavy sweater underneath if it was). Nope, it wasn’t. I can’t even get the coat to come close to closing…there’s about a 3-4″ gap between the sides that I can’t pull together to close. The coat is ridiculously TINY. It seems to be a children’s coat, not an adult size. Extremely disappointed.

Update: Purchased this coat in 2018 for my trip to Iceland. I am still wearing it to this day (Feb 2021). Colour is vibrant, the material is amazing, and perfect for those cold cold Canadian winters!
I love love love this coat! It was much better than I expected and perfect size!
I had ordered a size larger than I normally would, due to the fact I knew I was going to be wearing multiple layers under it. The size was perfect just to do so.
I really appreciate the faux fur lining which optimized warmth in the coat. I wore this to Iceland and i never felt cold in this coat.
The yellow is exactly like the picture, Bright and vibrant.
After searching through local stores for a coat, and finding over $200 priced items, I turned to Amazon for a better option. I’m always skeptical on buying clothes online as the sizes are hardly ever right, but this was one of the best purchases I’ve made on here and for a valuable price!

Gorgeous coat. Biggest issue was the sizing chart is super confusing. I cant imagine these are person measurements. After ordering an XL I wrote the company who wrote back promptly and suggested medium which fit beautifully without 4 layers of snow gear on which I had for today’s -20C forecast.
I am 5’6. Small frame. But hourglass shape. Bust 42″ waist 33″, hips 44″ fully snowsuited up. I am a muscular 180lbs. Let me underscore: medium fit beautifully without the layers. Turtleneck and light shirt ok. Add a puffy hoodie and I looked like a marshmellow man. So I plan to keep the large.
Measurements for each are confusing on site and need to include a hip measurement and where they are measuring from. The two garmets I have have the following. Hope this helps some other lady avoid having to buy two and return.
Large:
Base of Coat (seam to seam) 25.5″. (Should fit 51″ snow suited where it hits.) snow skirt is a bit snugger but it should be and it stretches.
Length (mid shoulder seem to base of coat): 27″. This is where that hip measurement base of coat will hit.
Shoulders: Also confusing. I got 19.5″ seam to seam where the arm are stiches in across the back. Not sure if that is super clear.
—-
Medium
Base: 23″ seam to seam (hip 46″ max for example)
Length 26″ measured same as above from mid shoulder seam to base.
Shoulder: 17.5″ across shoulder.
By way of comparison I wear a Canada Goose Expedition Medium. But for this coat I am planning on keeping the large because I want to layer.
The tight marshmellow look in the pics (first two) are with 4 heavy layers. Last 3 are large with 4 heavy layers.
Just wish this cinched in a bit in the waist but it isn’t designed like that.
Stitch quality was also a bit poor on the medium if you are picky. This also weighed on my decision.
No one incentivized me to write this. Just felt bad I had to order two knowing one had to go back. Figured some more info might help someone.

I was extremely worried when I took the coat out of the material bag it came in. All I thought was how will something so thin and light keep me warm. I feel the cold and live in Ontario Canada. We get snow and weather often dips down to the -20 to -30 range. I was mad thinking I had been scammed. NOT SO!!! This is the warmest coat I have ever owned and it is so light weight. I an so very happy with my purchase 🙂

Zip broke after 2 months of purchasing the jacket feel very disappointed.

I love this jacket, it is warm and comfortable. The fit is smaller than expected, By the measurement charts it was supposed to be roomy. I usually wear an XL.. ordered XXL and it is not roomy. It will be snug with sweater. The biggest issue I have is the seams are coming apart. First one opened in a pocket. I’m a sewer, so far I have restitched that pocket and two decorative top seams because the thread broke, the seams were opening up. If I wasn’t a seamstress it would have to be returned. First coat I ever owned that is falling apart in less than a month.

No sé si el L es el equivalente o me la enviaron mal, me quedó bien apesar de que pedí S, algo grande de los hombros pero está bien considerando que te puedes poner otra sudadera abajo, no hace nada de figura en la cintura
