I needed two suits one for my 3 year old (29 lb size 3t/ 4) and my 6 year old (43 lb. 5/ 6). Because of the reviews saying the suits ran small (and great price) I ordered a 4, 6 and 8. The size 4 fits my 3 year old pretty good the bottom is a tad big. The size 6 works great for my 6 y old. I notice the sleeves on the six are more of a 3/4 length but that is not a big deal to me. I also tried the 8 on her and it was a bit big in the bottoms. I would need to take them in a bit and they would be fine. The top fit well in the body and the sleeves were full length this time. I really like these suits. If you are trying to decide between two sizes and your child is say a 6x I would go bigger to the 8. My daughter is a string bean (6 slim) and the 6 works great for her. I now have had these suits for 6 weeks. They have been worn to the beach twice and to 5 swim lessons and 4 days of water park fun. They are still in great shape.

Product fit small seemed to be good quality and loved the product. My granddaughter loved it even though it barely fit her it will only be good for the summer season. I ordered a 6 but it fit more like a 4.

Super cute but, It got black spots (like mildew) all over the cloth on the first use while my kid it still wearing it at the beach. Very disappointed.

Fit was small for a size ten. I would order a size larger. The skirt was short. The fabric is not good quality. Daughter wore at the beach and when we got home to wash it I notice black mold or stain all over the fabric and it doesn’t wash off. I would not buy again.

We loved this suit! Unfortunately, we went on a trip and it was left behind. BUMMER! Because it really was great! It fit perfect and was adorable! It came in a little bag and I was pleasantly surprised to also find a swim cap with the suit! I would recommend (will probably buy again next season)

I thankfully read the previous reviews before ordering so I knew to go one size up. I ordered my daughter (a size 6) the 8 for this reason. The suit is super cute and seems to be of good quality. I agree that the skirt is shorter than pictured, so I included a photo of the one we received. The only reason that I took off a star was because of the sleeves. It fit my daughter as a 3/4 sleeve instead of the long sleeve I was expecting.

I ordered a 10. The tag says 9. It looks like a girls 6x. I would order up 1-2 full sizes on top of what their normal swimsuit size is. Sleeves are only 3/4 length. The photo compares another competitors size 10, to this companies size 10. As you can tell there is a considerable difference in the length of the garment as well as the length of the sleeves. For reference my daughter is 8 and wears size 8-10, and in swimwear she wears 10. She is average height and weight. Maybe around 85 lbs. Swimwear runs small, so we order up. I will try a 12 and review again.

First off it is super cute and the fabric seem like good quality. As for the fit, my daughter is 5 years old and normally wears a size 4/5 but after reading reviews and using the sizing guide ; I ordered her a size 6 and it fits great. The orange on to top and bottom does not match but it’s not very noticeable. The top has quarter length sleeves ( not full). The skirt is a little shorter that the photo but I think that’s a good thing. As an added bonus it comes with a matching little swim cap.

I love this suit- for my boys the price is right- i had no issue with it ‘shedding’ as some reviews said. I am the first to admit i wash and dry it i do not have time to be careful with the kids laundry, itsnot recommended but hasnt been an issue- and it has not affected the sun protection- my kids are so sooo pale and have gotten zero sun through it. will it last through a 2nd season….probably not my kids are hard on things and wear it almost daily but the zipper is great (the coolibar ones have barely lasted few months lately the last 3 we purchased zippers went within first mont or 2) and are $58. Also randomly the weird swim cap is a HUGE hit with my 4 and 5 yo

I purchased this swim suit for my 8 year old niece. She is of normal height and a bit on the slim side for her age. This swim suit fits perfectly! I picked this ensemble because of the full coverage top. Kids her age are often left to put their own sunscreen on and lets face it, they don’t take the task seriously. I also don’t see a need for little girls to be running around the pool being so exsposed. She wants to run and play, not worrying that her suit is going to get untied or fall off. The skirt also provides just a bit more modestly, compared to the typical bikini bottom. She also loved it, and that’s what really matters!

This bathing suit is super cute. Unfortunately I ordered size ‘7 years’ and the seller says the item fits true to size. I was sent size 12. It’s gigantic. I’m sending it back for a refund. This wouldn’t fit my kid for years.
