Very happy with my new stand. I didn’t want one with a very big table top because it needs to fit into a smaller space. It is sturdy and nice looking.
The ONLY thing I could hope for is a bit more of a lip on the bottom to keep the laptop more secure when used at an extreme tilt.
SUSAN BERRIDGE –
Sturdy excellent size but still a space saver
Great minimal design with excellent functionality.

I wanted an iPad/book stand so that I could read books or watch a video on my iPad while I pedal my AirDyne exercise bike. It needed to be solid, strong, and wheeled and high enough for comfortable reading. This item filled the bill and for this price point the high quality of this stand definitely exceeds expectations.
Suggestions to the MANUFACTURER: label the vertical poles or their boxes R and L in the future, neither the boxes nor the poles were labeled and it is important to have them on the correct side. Dump the tiny set screws for something decent to hold on to, the set screws are a pain in the keister.
For the potential BUYER: the instruction booklet in the box is only half-page size and hard to read—if you do a search you can find the booklet in full page PDF format on the VIVO website. Then use that or even print it out if desired, your eyes will thank you. I especially recommend printing out the parts page for reference.
The stand is weighty, all steel including the top plate. This makes assembly harder for an old 72-year old woman like me, so having some help around would be nice. I managed to assemble the whole thing by myself except I needed hubby’s help to steady the heavy desktop plate when I mounted it to the poles with the two screws. I didn’t put on the smaller middle helper plate because I will probably never have a need for it, however be advised the middle BAR that is attached just prior to the helper plate MUST be attached because it keeps the bars level when raising/lowering the desktop and is the place to grip when adjusting the height. Be careful not to lose any hardware, because there were no spares. I had a bit of a problem when the endcap came off one of the two tiny set-screws but finally managed to get it screwed in ok. All in all, I think it took me about 2-2 1/2 hours for assembly, that last 1/2 hour due to the dratted set screw.
It’s easy to adjust height, just get a good grip on the center retaining bar, unscrew the retaining screws on both bars, move it to desired height grasping the retaining bar, and re-tighten the retaining screws. It’s a very nice heavy duty stand made almost entirely of steel (except for the castors and end caps on the base) and I recommend it. I don’t anticipate that it will ever wear out.

My wife and I are both teachers. We needed something that could double as a teaching stand for books, notes, and also as a laptop stand. We ordered two of these, and could not be more pleased. Took a little while to put together, but worth the time.
Very sturdy, heavy but that’s a good thing. Top piece is heavy gauge steel, and the attachment system is robust. Can be flat for a computer, or adjusted to infinite angles and heights very easily. I’m 6’2” and my wife is 5’’4” and this adjusts to fit each of us perfectly.
Casters roll smoothly, and all lock if you want them to. Well worth the money, and should last for many years.

I like the design and stability, easy to move as the wheels are perfectly rolling with smooth and can be locked if you want it to stay at one place.

Since the previous rolling podium I had purchased appears to no longer be on the market, when I needed an additional one I had to go looking all over again. Decided on this Vivo model because of maximum height, low cost, no pneumatic tubes to leak, the large size of the desk plate, and the mostly good reviews. I’m *very* pleased with it. Packaging was good, so it arrived with no damage. Everything fit together with extreme precision. Very solid. The welds are obviously extremely high quality. The casters seem seem to be high quality and it rolls nicely. The following may be negatives for some people: (1) The black-and-white line drawings in the assembly instruction manual are very small. They should be twice the size for such detail. However, using the QR code links you to an online assembly video which is helpful. (I didn’t notice that this was available until after I was done.) (2) No cross-head screwdriver was included for the four screws that required that for the accessory plate, but most people have this type of screw driver in their own tool kit. (3) Some of the screws were especially tedious to insert, especially the two grub screws (set screws). The twin top screws for the top plate seemed very tedious, and the somewhat microscopic plastic friction insert in the end of one of the grub screws came out in the process and had to be reinserted. However, these negatives are minuscule, and I’m really glad that I purchased this rolling podium. It is

Bought this for use as a stand up desk for use at home. Works great for that. I’m 5′-10″ and this adjusts easily for the perfect height for my laptop. Had this for about a month now and use it daily.
Material is very nicely made and is very sturdy. I had no issues with misaligned holes, or painted threads, which is typical of cheap manufacturing. Everything was perfectly aligned and well thought out. Love the detail of the countersunk screws for the lower tray, as well as the cushioned wrist strips. The directions for assembly were as clear as I could have wanted, but I have plenty of experience with exploded diagrams. Overall, very satisfied and would definitely recommend to others.

I put my computer/screen on wall shelves, and use it for my keyboard/mouse/tea. It’s perfect size for these, and has a bit left if I want to also keep a few paper.
Much more affordable than a good standing desk, takes less room, and easy to put away if I want to use the office for yoga/ meetings.
Also love being able to adjust the height/ angle as I work.
Took more than an hour to assemble, which is the only problem so far

Great product. Very sturdy, adjustable wheel height, adjustable lectern height, smooth action on the wheels and good heavy base. I highly recommend.

I’ve been using this standing desk for about a month now. I find the desk to be good quality and a sturdy build. I have been using it with my laptop and as a writing desk. The issue that I didn’t think about when I purchased this was where I needed the monitor to be (for me: straight on!). Standing and having the laptop accessible to also use the laptop keyboard requires a constant stare downward – this became annoying/uncomfortable. My advice: if you’re using this for a computer – think about where you want the monitor! I’ve modified its use (as shown in the picture) using boxes and a separate keyboard/mouse on the lower tray (I’m about 6 foot) to make it work for me. I wish I’d thought of this when I purchased – but otherwise I’m happy with it. I can’t speak to the slant/items rolling off issue which other reviews have raised.

Absolutely what I was looking for. Live the quality and the beautiful finish. Top quality and so sturdy.
