Discerning Consumer –
From the first time I saw it, I knew it belonged under my computer desk, and now it is here. And after three hours of building this masterpiece, this computer kid developed some skills and finally finished assembling it, nice and tough, like a tank.
I had finally consolidated my mountain of wires, widgets, gadgets, chargers and the bits and bytes of dozens of computer toys. Now, seeing how sturdy this unit is, I’ve decided to use some of the heavy duty filing folders I just ordered to hold my tablets and little laptop/tablets, keeping them handy but out of the way. Even with seven little machines, I should still have enough room to store thirty years of accumulated documentation.
When you build it, you know how good it is. I used earbuds so the job wasn’t too intolerable, and it did enrich my life – I feel more capable after climbing that mountain. Computer guys rarely get to do stuff in the real world. I can do the next one an hour faster. And the third, I’ll be a pro, two hours faster.
I can’t imagine anyone regretting this purchase for $160. It looks like $400.

So these weren’t my first choice but I couldn’t be happier with them. I was originally looking to purchase the IKEA Alex drawers for my gaming desk setup but they were out of stock for several months and I got tired I waiting. I found these on amazon and although the measurements weren’t exactly what I was looking for, I went ahead and purchased them. Assembly was easy and straight forward. I think it goes without saying that these aren’t the best build quality drawer units. They’re made of that cheap particle stuff but so long as you make sure to not over-tighten or force anything together, they’re plenty sturdy and if treated nicely, are absolutely fine for your application. to be fair, IKEA’s furniture is made of the same stuff so, whatever. I ended up actually really liking the way these made the final result look. I really like the open upper areas. I ended up frosting some acrylic sheets and mounted them to the back of the drawers so you couldn’t see the cords and wires. They were a little short so I did end up building a couple riser boxes out of 2×4’s. After doing that they sit at the perfect height for my desk. Overall I’m happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend them.

It’s pressboard so you have to be careful, and you can ONLY use a hand screwdriver…and there are LOTS of screws. Once done, I went to do the last item which was putting these little plastic brackets on the backside of cabinet and they simply break the wood because they go in on an angled. I stopped there and just threw away the remaining 6 screws. It’s sturdy enough without them. The directions are a little bit off but you can get through it.

To start off I hummed and hawed over the price but decided to go with it as it matched the desk I ordered and will do a review on as-well. First off it’s well packs and labeled good for the install. Even comes with a real screwdriver a wrench and Allen key. I used to work for a high end furniture store putting stuff together and I must say this item was put together much better then the high end stuff I used to build. Highly recommended buying this if you have a desk that matches the color!

Con- MANY parts and took a half day to put together. You need little fingers for some of it. Finicky. Pro-parts were well labelled and came with all the tools including a screwdriver. (Which is a bit wasteful) Cons – came with lots of little chips and dents. Made me wonder if it was new or repackaged. Also the pressboard holes were not drilled deep enough for the clips so it keeps coming apart. Biggest Con is the crooked drawer. Likely due to the cheap rails. I followed the instructions meticulously. The door is crooked and bangs into the top one when opening or closing. I hate it. But stuck with it now. Super disappointed as i have previous Vasagle products on my office and they were much better made. And as far as this company goes, the desk I ordered came with a smashed corner and it’s been 2 days and I still have no real reply.

This cabinet comes COMPLETELY disassembled. But don’t panic…the instructions are easy to follow. Take a deep breath, collect yourself, and get started. Should take about an hour to put together. It’s actually pretty simple to assemble once you get going. A cordless drill and a regular sized screwdriver will help. The finished product is fantastic and looks great.

I had so much trouble putting the drawers together, it was hard to line up the sides of the drawers, I could get one side lined up but the other side the posts wouldn’t sit flat in the holes and that was on both drawers, I had to put them to the side for a while cuz I wanted to take a hammer to it, finally after many hours I was able to line up the drawers, then when I went to screw in the metal rods that hold up the file folders I could get one side screwed in very easily, the other side was really hard to turn, they need to have a small flat spot on the rods on either side so that if you have any difficulty you can grasp that spot with a tool and turn it, but without a flat spot the tool doesn’t help, I eventually got it screwed in but it took a while, also the pieces were covered in fibreglass, I had to vacuum and wipe down each piece before I could put it together. Once I got it together it does look lovely and rolls easily and holds a lot of files.

From cradle to end-use, this small file cabinet is well worth the money. The carton arrived on-time. When I opened it I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was all packed. Styrofoam pads and solid plastic corners (see photo) in all the right places. Everything came out very easily making it a cinch to lay the parts out in an organized manner. All the parts are labeled to correspond with the assembly manual. Do not feel overwhelmed. Just follow the directions and this nice cabinet will come together properly in about 90 minutes. Here is a tip: There are about 10 bags of screws and connectors. Don’t tear the bags open and dump out all the screws. Each bag has a letter that corresponds precisely to a connection. Open the bags from the seams with a scissor or blade so that you only take out what you need based on the step you are on within the instructions. The tools provided are adequate but you may want to use your own Philips screwdriver. I have to say I am impressed with how the factory cut and designed the cabinet. You can see that everything matched up properly and this company is putting out a quality product within the price-point. I did not expect such a good cabinet. It is nice looking, rolls well, the draws operate properly, fit and finish is excellent and it handles my paper filing needs perfectly.

I’ve got a few pieces of Vasagle furniture. This filing cabinet fits in with all of them quite nicely. It was relatively easy to assemble, their stuff seems to be way more sturdy than the Swedish brand. And for less money. Definitely buying more Vasagle furniture (I like the dark wood tone).

I am very happy with the quality! I bought this as a temporary printer stand/filing cabinet and was not expecting much for furniture bought on Amazon but it truly is very nice and I think I will end up keeping it as a permanent piece in my office!
I am not particularly handy and I found this very easy to put together. It took me about an hour to assemble as it comes in several pieces but the instructions were very clear and there were even some tools included.
The finished product looks great and it is sturdy. I have a large printer on top and many files stored in the filing drawer and it is very secure.

As per the images and specifications this is really what it looks like. I had a missing part that was not and issue they replaced it.
They provided an Alan Key, Double side screwdriver and a small wrench.
The sad part is if you screw in the bolts and try to make it tight it keeps spinning. So be gentle but firm.
Not a bad product. I would purchase from this company again.

I purchased 9 pieces from this line by VASAGLE. 2 bookshelves, 2 L-desks (different sizes), 1 straight computer desk, 1 rolling file cabinet, 2 storage cabinets and 1 storage bench. Most of them arrived early and in good condition. I have put together many pieces of flat pack furniture over the years and by far these have been the best. If you take your time and follow the instructions (pay attention to direction holes are in the pics) you will not have any problems. They all feel sturdy and I think they look great! I am beyond pleased. I have a rolling printer cart and wall mount shelves on the way from this same company. I will look at this company first in the future should I need any more pieces. I highly recommend these pieces.

I was looking for a small cart to hold my work stuff (papers, sample product, pens, post-its). Which had spent the better part of 2020 piled in a dining room chair.
Low and behold I found this one that perfectly matched my standing desk! I assembled it myself (took me less than two-hours and I was not solely focused on the task) with just the tools provided. It came together easily and everything was clearly labeled. They also included at least one extra of each piece of hardware – highly appreciated.
It is a little imprecise – the bottom drawer could line up more perfectly – but I can’t honestly say that that’s a fair expectation of a cart I bought for a little over $100 and assembled myself.
Everything fits inside, it matches my desk, it rolls around/out of the way and my life is suddenly far more tidy!
Love it – highly recommend.
