My wife made me a present. I was impressed when I used it! It has a beautiful design and a good quality! Corkscrew works great as expected. And what I really like about this set is that it has everything you need to open a bottle of wine and to save it in the fridge – foil cutter, wine pourer, vacuum stopper and even rechargeable batteries with charger.

Rate it a zero. Feeling very cheated on what seemed like a good idea but users were conned by a very low quality useless product. It is a ‘silk purse made of a sows ear’ as the saying goes. This device was a bust. It charged but only had weak power, too weak to put the screw end into a cork to even begin to pull it out. I’d love to return it. How, as it is after the return date as I kept trying to make it work, silly me? Don’t see a way to reach the seller.

I bought this for my brother for Xmas, my mom has a similar one but paid $100 for hers. This one works exactly the same as my mom’s, comes with more extra pieces, and was less expensive. It works awesome, took the cork off quick, was super easy to use. Having the extra stuff that comes with it was a good bonus. My brother loves it, it really makes a great gift for wine drinkers.

I liked it very much as at my age I was having trouble getting corks out of bottle. No strength left in arms. Only thing I was not pleased with was the Batteries used to run it. Nickel cadmium batteries . Those batteries have a memory so if you charge them before the charge is depleted the memory kicks in and you loose some of the charge time.

After breaking my Manual bottle opener off in a ” Not So Cheap” bottle of wine, I decided it’s time for an upgrade. This is a really nice set at a GREAT PRICE. The cutter easily removed the foil. The opener removed the cork easily. I love that it’s rechargeable. The aerator is nice as well. There was noticeable taste improvement in wine I’ve had several times before this (without an aerator). I love the wine saver tops. You can extract the excess air from the bottle. Normally my sparkling wine goes flat after a few hours in the fridge, but with this wine saver, 6 hrs later it was still as bubbly as when I opened it. The whole set is presented nicely in a nice box. This would make a great gift.

When I first got this wine opener it had a real tough time trying to open a bottle of wine. Maybe it needed a charge, so I charged it overnight and the next time I went to use it, it seemed OK to open a bottle of wine. Did not struggle like the first time. Left the wine opener unused for three weeks, and had a dinner party with several bottles of wine to open. The unit could barely open the first bottle as it struggled almost coming to a complete stop with the cork about halfway out. Ended up having to go back to a manual wine bottle opener.
Based on my experience I cannot recommend this product for opening more than one bottle of wine. Two stars because it is a packaged product with a few accessories. All in all just a “Meh” product. Save your money.

The screw doesn’t align in the middle of the cork. As a result the cork breaks into minute pieces. I have tried more than 10 bottles and never was able to extract the cork without breaking it. Unfortunately, by the time I have tried that many bottles, the window for returning had been closed. That is a very expensive bottle opener!

The wine opener did nothing. We worked with it for over an hour before we gave up on it. We are not mechanical/electrical idiots. I recently retired after 37 years as an engineer. This is just not a quality product. Now I have to shop for a replacement birthday gift.

A cool tool for any gadget-loving wine drinker! First I was a bit concerned if this really can uncork the bottles but after a couple weeks of heavy usage looks like it does the job well. Pro tip: for smooth operation one should pay attention when aiming the screw (not so easy when it’s 2nd or 3rd bottle, haha) It also makes a great present (that’s my second purchase from Uncle Viner) and with blue LEDs it acts as a cool conversation piece 🙂 Build quality is quite solid (not $100+ premium quality but very decent nevertheless, we’ll see if it survives holiday season though…)
Bottom line: For the price it is a no-brainer and with rechargeable batteries/charger included it was ready for operation immediately after unpacking. Plastic foil cutter is not so exquisite in looks but pretty functional to make your wine drinking experience more pleasant.
